The library of time. It appears every fifth day of the week in our small town and disappears when the clock hits midnight with the coming of a new week. Many have gone to the library, facing what's up ahead, but no one has ever returned from the challenge. Reason I'm telling you this is because I'll be the first one to beat it... that was a lie, I'm actually going in there because I lost a bet to my older brother and who ever lost had to spend the three days inside there. I wanted to tell mom, but he told her that I was going to a friends house for a couple of days. I was too embarrassed to tell her the truth, yeah, I'm in big trouble. --- DAY 1 ---
Right in front of me was an old wooden door, wished it was like any other door that led to the inside of a lovely home or even a abandoned house would have been better then what was waiting for me on the other side.
"You going in already or what?" Brother said, "Stop being a pussy."
"I can't, my legs won't move." I said, while my voice trembled.
Brother grabbed the back of my shirt and threw me inside. I don't remember when the door came open, but there I was, inside. The air seemed cooler and fresher then the outside. Always thought it was messier inside, but no, like it doesn't know what dust is. There were books on the shelf of course, if there wasn't then it wouldn't have been much use calling this place a library. On closer inspection the books were all in alphabetical order. The sounds, I was there was a scary monster that was clawing his way to me, but no, the only thing in my ears was a beeping sound or was there nothing... well anyway when I looked below me, I saw a black screen with white letters.
<
Didn't have any idea what that meant. Not like I was in any danger.
"Duck!" Soldier screamed.
"What?"
Woke up a few hours later to find my chest covered in a bandage. Getting shot by an arrow never gets old, always a gamble on if you live or die. A young lady came into the tent I was staying at.
"Are you alright sir?" She asked, "I was afraid that we would lose you."
At this point, I had no idea on what was going on, so I stayed quiet.
"Sir we need you right now!" Another person came peeking inside the tent.
Think I was about to say something, but a sword pierced his head, dropping him to the ground. Another beeping sounded inside my head.
<
At the time I thought I would get a slave army that would help me escape from that place. How wrong of me to think that. I was put on a cross with rope that held me down tightly. When we went past towns and cities, some cried when they saw me, in other places there where people throwing rotten tomatoes and rocks, but for me the real torture here was the constant beeping about <<+EXP gained>>. That shit was fucking annoying. At some points the level thing also appeared <
"Dig!" Guy with the whip screamed.
That I did, quite well too.
<
Did I forget to mention how every hit made a beeping sound in my head saying <<+EXP>> yeah, real fun, but I wasn't complaining about it too much, it did make work easier for me every time the level number increased. In the end of the day they treated people who did their work well with a comfy bed and better food then for the other slaves. Life was good, but all good things must come to an end.
"Now! Attack!" Girl that was in the tent with me back then shouted.
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
All the slaves that were worse of then me attacked the guards on duty with pickaxes, it seemed like a weird miracle back then because they all killed the guards in one hit, I think the pickaxes were enchanted, but I might be wrong on this one. The girl then came to me and pointed her sword to me.
"Sir, why did you give up so easily." Tears fell from her eyes. "You were the one telling us to not give into despair!"
Seeing her work on the rocks I saw how much stronger she was compared to me. For that reason I need to tell her what she wants to hear.
"You have pretty eyes."
Next thing I knew I was back in the library and having a screen in front of me telling me that I was killed. Still don't understand why she would kill me, I said everything she should have wanted to hear.
<
"Power Points?"

<
I heard from the slave soldiers back in the cave about wishing that they would have chosen a class that wasn't related to fighting. In the moment I saw the class choice I knew it was an important thing that I could not mess up.
<
The reason I chose boxer is because father always seemed strong when he beat mother, since he was a boxer back in the day. Choosing it wasn't even that bad of an idea because it carried me through the rest of the books in here.
<

<
The only thing I was able to do was to make the skills I had then stronger. I went all in with <
<
"Quit standing there like an idiot and get to work!" Mother from this world yelled, "You know what no, since your so lazy you can go into town and bring back our horse."
<
Normally I would have helped out, but my level seems to have reset back to level 1, doing labor at low levels sucks. Honestly going to the town seemed more of a reward then a punishment. Walking throw different towns and locations, that annoying beeping sound returned,
<
Not sure if I could ever get used to the sounds, even now. Right at the entrance of the town was the horse with a hooded figure. From closer inspection the person looked like a woman.
"Here you go sir." Woman said.
"Is that you tent girl?" I ask.
She got out her dagger that she was hiding under her cape and pointed it directly to my neck.
"How do you know about the tents I make?"
"... You have pretty eyes."
"Someone I was close with from a long time ago said the same thing, I would kill you right now like I did with him, but I would prefer if I didn't get in trouble with the countries again." She takes her knife back to the shadows.
"That sucks, goodbye then."
"Hold it, you ain't going anywhere." She drags me to the town chief.
"Why did you bring me this peasant?" Chief asks.
"He knew about the tents sir."
"Then kill him, easy as that."
"I can't, the family of this young man are the few people that still give food to our town.
"Kid, come here for a moment."
"I'm here."
"That you are, now stay still."
<
<
At that moment I hit the chief to the face and ended up killing him. Time stopped and the screen appeared again.
