Thought Alice, seeing that the capsules were sold out within the first week after pre-ordering was available, and the lines to get the ones that were currently being sold in stores were extremely long, with most people walking away empty-handed when the employees announced they were sold out. This was the first day Royal Road would be available in the USA. After waiting and soaking up every video she could find, Alice was ready to start playing right away, but there were still two hours till the servers were online. After two months of waiting, only two hours were left till she could play. She considered drinking some more of her Jasmine Tea, but decided against it, as she was not willing to miss even a second of playing. The two hours seemed to drag on forever, until an alarm finally sounded from her wristwatch. She closed the capsule, nearly dozing from boredom mere minutes ago, and her vision darkened.

-The scan on your iris and vein has determined that you are an unregistered user. Do you want to create a new account?

After much thinking on Alice’s part, she finally decided on a name. “Levi.”

Levi began to hear elevator music play.

“You’d think with how much they put into this game, they would have better music while waiting!” Levi’s breaking point for elevator music was quite low.

“Nope, it’s currently not. But seeing as you are one of the first people to have a pre-ordered capsule, we will allow it. But you will need to complete a quest to unlock it for the rest of the players. Are these conditions acceptable?” As Levi thought of the pros and cons of agreeing, she decided to ask a question about the condition.

“Will it fill up one of my main quests? Or can it be a hidden quest that doesn’t take up space..”

“Tsk.” The GM actually tsk’d Levi for asking that! “It will be a hidden quest since you requested it that way.”

“Then I accept the terms,” breathing deeply to calm herself, Levi responded to the GM known as LoliDragon.

“Please change my hair color to platinum, and eye color to sky blue.”

-Your account has been activated. Your stats and class shall be determined while you are playing Royal Road.
