VOLUME III REWRITE ANNOUNCEMENT
UNDERWORLD REDONE!
----------------------------------------
Greetings, true believers!
As promised in my new novel, The Loom of Ill Fates, which is now on Rising Stars here on Royal Road, I will be returning to my original novel after a one-and-a-half-year hiatus!!!
Honestly, I love the story of Sam and Sarah — Herculean and Thunder — and I can't wait to continue volume 3, but differently. Yep, it's time for a professional rewrite of volume 3 so we can finally finish the novel that started me on my path as a writer!!!
We'll have a few chapters out a week. I'll update you on the schedule as time goes on. Advanced chapters will arrive on Patreon too, and I'll update you when they do. Right now, I'll be publishing the four prequel chapters featuring Crow-Man here.
Prequel Chapter One of Volume 3: Visitation arrives in a few hours! You'll see it's already been scheduled for release later today on the book's main page, so look forward to it!!!
Now, on to my second piece of news today...

Synopsis:
'An ill-fated prince marked for death and a trickster imprisoned by the gods...together, they might gain the strength to change destiny.'
In a land where sorcery is the dominant force, a prince cursed with a body lacking talent for even basic spells is scorned by nobles and commoners alike. Fortunately for Bram of House Attilan, as a child of the Sovereign who rules the Atlan Imperium, even an ‘Ill-Fated Prince’ is given a chance to prove his worth…and Bram knows exactly what he needs.
Inside him exists a ‘self-improvement system’ called the Loom. Though he can’t use it himself yet because his body lacks magic, Bram, the newly appointed governor of Lotharin, one of the twelve kingdoms of the imperium, devises a plot to gift the Loom to others and develop the talents his kingdom needs from scratch.
Such an undertaking will require the aid of a master trickster—one powerful enough to help Bram kidnap humans from a world called Earth to enlist their expertise in performing the greatest trick ever sold; hoodwinking other Earthers into believing they’re playing a videogame while they work to solve the many troubles plaguing the kingdom—helping to make Lotharin great again while proving Bram a worthy prince.

What to Expect:
- It's Game of Thrones meets Ready Player One and the Office!
- Light LitRPG elements.
- Progression fantasy. No instant overpowered MCs with murderhobo tendencies.
- Clever schemes, fast-paced action, and in-depth character development.
- Elaborate world-building elements with a sprawling world thoroughly mapped out.
- A tale that seamlessly jumps between high fantasy adventures, game development hijinks, and kingdom-building shenanigans.
"I've always wanted to write a big sprawling fantasy tale in the vein of GoT with popular LitRPG elements mixed into it. I've also enjoyed 'game-lit' stories like Ready Player One and Overgeared, relishing their unique style of storytelling that harkens to the gamer in me. The Loom of Ill Fates was the answer to bringing my passion for these two disparate but similar genres together. It's got everything you love from Level Up Hero and more. So, I hope you guys can give it a read," — G.D. Cruz
I'll add the link to it in the post-chapter notes!
