Miranda paused midstep. “Sandy, Dr. Quinton, why are you both staring at me like that? Is there something wrong?” she asked.

Sandy and Silas had been waiting for her to ask that very question!

“Miranda, could I ask you for a favor?”

“What kind of favor?”

Sandy explained, “I’ve got two sets of data here, and the volume is enormous. It’s not just the calculations; even organizing it is a nightmare. You’re great at programming. Could you help us come up with a way to make it all easier?”

Silas quickly added, “None of us are good with programming. At best, we can use traditional calculation methods, but the volume this time is overwhelming. Human brains just can’t compete with computers, so …uh… do you think you could write a program or something to batch process this data?

Half an hour later.

“Sandy, take a look at this calculation path and processing speed. See if there’s anything that needs adjusting.” Miranda said while stepping aside

Sandy sat down and used the mouse to review the setup. She realized what would’ve taken five days to calculate manually could now be done i t one day at this speed!

“This is amazing! Thank you, Miranda! I love you, I love you! I love you to bits!” Sandy had barely dared to hope, but this was incredible!

Miranda waved it off, saying, “No problem, it was easy

Silas quickly moved closer. “Let me try it out…”

After his class, Paul came to the lab as usual, only to find Miranda looking uncomfortable in her chair–or, more precisely, pinned down in it!

Sandy was massaging her shoulders while Silas handed her a freshly bought latte.

Sandy said, “Miranda, you’ve worked so hard! Let me give you a shoulder rub. Even my husband doesn’t get this treatment!”

Silas added, “Here, Mimi, have some latte. Low sugar, no ice. It’s totally healthy!”

Paul raised an eyebrow in confusion. Since when did his team members turn into Miranda’s personal assistants?

At that moment, Elizabeth pushed the door open and saw Sandy and Silas fawning over Miranda. She couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

Bryan followed a few steps behind while carrying breakfast.

“Lizzy, I got your favorite green salad and chicken soup. The soup is still hot, so eat it while it’s warm!”

Elizabeth didn’t look pleased. “Chicken soup first thing in the morning? That’s too heavy for breakfast. And who told you I love chicken soup?”

Bryan scratched his head. “Didn’t you say last time that the chicken soup from that place was really good? I thought you liked it.”

“That was then. I don’t like it anymore.”

“Oh, got it. I’ll buy something else next time.”

Bryan quickly went along with her response as he sensed that Elizabeth was in a bad mood and was taking it out on him.

He had no idea what he’d done wrong; he just thought that it was normal for a spoiled young lady like her to have a temper. Nevertheless, he was more than willing to indulge her.

After Ingrid dropped out of university, she focused on the prenatal classes Evelyn had arranged for her.

However, even that wasn’t enough for Evelyn. Seeing that Ingrid now had plenty of free time, Evelyn filled her schedule completely.

Today, she was going to attend a fashion styling class. The class was held in a mall, and the instructor was said to be a well–known designer. Ingrid was somewhat interested when she first arrived.

However, 15 minutes into the lesson, she grew bored and couldn’t stop yawning.

If it were someone else, they might have just ignored her behavior; after all, the class had already been paid, and it was up to the students how much they learned. Content is © 2024 .

But this instructor was different. She had no patience for inattentive students like Ingrid. Seeing Ingrid’s head drooping as she nodded off, the instructor’s gaze turned sharp.
