Intro 1:

The room was white—endlessly, overwhelmingly white. No shadows, no seams, no corners to mark where one surface ended and another began. It wasn’t vast, nor was it small; it was simply there, as though space itself had been stripped of meaning. The only thing that made the emptiness bearable was her.

She stood at the center of it all, hands clasped neatly behind her back. She was tall, poised, deliberate in her stillness. Green light pulsed beneath her pale skin, arcane veins tracing patterns across her arms and collar like living sigils. A long, sinuous tail flicked idly behind her, its spaded tip cutting an invisible shape through the air.

She was draped in white—a monastic scapular, pristine and flowing, tied at the waist with a braided gold rope. It should have looked natural here, should have made her part of this place, but it didn’t. It clashed. The purity of the garment did nothing to soften what she was.

Her horns curved back like a crown of obsidian, framing the long, jet-black hair that cascaded down her shoulders. But it was her eyes that held attention. One burned a vivid, unnatural red, focused and deliberate. The other was a void of inky blackness, a bottomless abyss with tendrils of darkness snaking through her veins, consuming the pathways the green light should have filled.

And then, there were the wings.

Dark leathery membranes stretched from her back, their edges resting lightly against the empty ground. Though at rest, they still gave the impression of something vast, something that could spread wide and swallow the space around her if she willed it.

She regarded them—the intruder—with no sign of hostility, nor warmth. Just patience. As if she had been waiting.

And then she spoke. "Welcome, my lord."

Her voice was a contradiction, just like her. Smoky and sultry, smooth yet rough-edged, carrying an undeniable weight of experience yet laced with something inviting—dangerous, perhaps, but not hostile. Her words curled through the empty space as if they had substance, sinking into the air rather than merely existing within it.

"I am Illiesku the Cursed. I will be your advisor."

She moved, a slow, graceful extension of her arm, and the empty space responded. To her right, where there had been only unbroken whiteness, a rich mahogany desk materialized, its polished surface reflecting light that didn’t seem to come from anywhere at all. A matching chair followed, phasing into existence like a thought made real.

"Your first task is to select a starting race to control."

As the words left her lips, a semi-transparent window blinked into existence just above the desk, its edges shimmering faintly. Within it, rows of names and symbols shifted, waiting—a selection of races, each awaiting a choice.

The Main Character moved forward, hesitating only briefly before sinking into the chair. The material was solid, real, unlike the formless space surrounding them. The presence of the desk and chair made the moment feel official, weighty—like a contract being signed, a choice that would shape something greater.

Illiesku said nothing more for now. She simply watched, expectant but unhurried. This was the beginning.
