After being enveloped by bright light, Benedict Sanchez lost all his senses for an unknown period of time.
The first - and only - to recover was the sense of touch. He could feel his body enveloped in a warm substance. It was impossible to tell what exactly it was. He couldn't open his eyes even if he tried, in fact, he couldn't move his body in the slightest, as if completely paralyzed. He couldn't even breathe, but for some reason, it didn't affect him in the slightest as if his body could get oxygen through its skin.
What is going on? Could it be it is a side effect of staying way too long in the anechoic chamber? But it wasn't the first time for me. Moreover, it wasn't my longest stay as well.
Benedict noticed that his thoughts were cloudy and slow. At the same time, he noticed that the warmth that enveloped his body started to penetrate his body as if flowing through him. It created a unique feeling of being one with something bigger than oneself.
I...hate...this lack...of control...over...my...mind...and...body...
Benedict could barely think, and he didn't know how much time passed between each of his thoughts. It could be seconds. It could be hours. It could be weeks. It could be years. In the first place, time is determined by the comparison between different processes, events, and reactions. There should be some kind of "anchor" for the concept of time to make sense at all. And now, there was none.
At some point, Benedict started noticed that this warm flow changed somehow. It started to become hotter and hotter, but he didn't feel any discomfort. Alongside this feeling, in a completely unexplained way, new information began to appear in his mind - all sorts of strange hieroglyphs that reminded him of the Chinese characters; meanings, and pronunciations associated with each of them.
While this process continued, Benedict couldn't have thoughts on his own. His mind was flooded with new information and desperately tried to digest it.
After the language was absorbed, the flow became scorchingly hot and uncomfortable, but nothing that Benedict can't endure. Extremely complex concepts engulfed his mind.
Twelve Zodiac Animals... His mind could easily comprehend this information.
Five Basic Elements... A negligible discomfort.
Yin and Yang... His head started to hurt as if he experienced a mild hangover.
Dao of Heaven and Earth... The pain became increasingly sharp, but still can't be compared to what he felt while creating the COVID-20 cure without sleeping for five days.
The Origin Laws... Suddenly, the information that flooded his mind became incomprehensible even for him, the headache Benedict Sanchez endured was like nothing he experienced before, he felt that his head can burst at any moment... but at some point, he started to understand the mysterious symbols, everything began to make sense and euphoria from realizing those complex concepts beyond human comprehension made him remember his first steps at learning science. He relaxed, enjoying the nostalgia this experience brought him.

This knowledge contradicts everything I know about my universe. If it is real, then it definitely about some other world. Why and how was it given to me? The technology of direct information transfer isn't even at its trial stages yet.
The hot substance that encompassed his body both inside and outside began to cool down until it became chilling. Then, the flow of it entered his brain, and thanks to the newly gained comprehensions, Benedict instinctively understood what happened. The existence that gifted him with this mysterious information tried to extract it!
Benedict didn't understand what exactly happened, as the knowledge he gained was similar to the fundamental laws of physics from his original world - it didn't contain anything specific. But still, he tried to resist the cold flow that tried to make him forget everything he just learned other than language.
He didn't want to forget! For a scientist, knowledge was sacred!
Benedict and the unknown existence reached a stalemate. But he felt that it wouldn't last for long. He experienced that terrible headache again, and it became stronger in amplitude as more time passed.
Do I have no choice other than to give up? If this existence was the one that gave me that knowledge and comprehension, then shouldn't they also have the right to have it back? But what is the point of their action then - just to tease me? Or is there a deeper meaning? Anyway, if a fight is unwinnable, then giving up is a wise choice.
Just when Benedict was ready to give up, even if with a significant reluctance, an alluring female voice resounded inside his head.
"Incredible!" the voice said with unhidden excitement. "I could never guess that someone can not only digest The Origin Laws but also to resist The World's Will."
Who the hell are you? Benedict thought, trying to confirm if that person can read his mind.
"I'm your ally, boy," the female voice said with kindness. "I just want us to help each other, nothing else, really~."
Before he can give his answer, Benedict felt as if something immaterial entered his body. It was creepy as if being possessed by a ghost. But as a result, the cold flow that tried to extract his knowledge left his body. Soon, the creepy feeling changed to an extremely pleasant and comfortable one, but he knew that it is nothing but an illusion.
Whatever you are trying to do with my body - stop it immediately, Benedict thought coldly, stimulating his mind to resist this foreign entity.
"You are so mean~," the gentle female voice didn't hide flirtatious undertone, "this big sister just tries to help you, boy~."
This time, Benedict could determine from where in his mind the voice sounded. He then used his experience resisting the so-called World's Will to suppress this crafty "female ghost". He felt some resistance, but it was nothing compared to what he experienced just before.
"Eh?! This is how you repay your benefactor?! Hehe, I guess you would be a perfect disciple for me~. You have such a splendid potential in cultivating Devil Path that I can't wait to see our future together~."
After mentally suppressing this entity for some time, Benedict was certain that even though she was still there, she was too weak to influence him against his volition.
"It was completely unnecessary, you know~," her voice was weak and sleepy, but she still tried to tease him. "Okey, if you want me to sleep with you...or rather inside of you, then so be it~. Wake me up when you are ready to beg me for help, Mr. I'mSoMeanAndDistrustful~."
At last, the world became calm and quiet. The mysterious warm substance that enveloped Benedict no longer tried to influence him in any way, and he could just relax and assimilate all this new information he gained.
After an unknown period of time, Benedict suddenly felt that his surrounding changed, and his body was no longer paralyzed. A bright light made him unable to open his eyes for a moment, but he, at least, could take a deep breath and enjoy the taste of fresh air that he already forgot. He could hear commotion surrounding him and feel solid ground under his legs.
After a few seconds, the bright light subsided. Benedict Sanchez, at last, opened his eyes.
