The world is filled with many things and many places. Beautiful things and beautiful places, which are rife with their own dangers and wonders. Of course, one of these beautiful yet dangerous places is Favondale, a land filled with powerful kingdoms and great heroes with many adventures to be had and mysteries left to unlock.
Scholars from far-off lands tell of Favondale's fortune. But not fortune in that of wealth, though there's plenty of that to be had if you know where to look. I speak of fortune in the form of mysteries to unlock, treasures to discover, and tales that have yet to be told.
Of course, the tale I am telling you right now just so happens to be one of those tales. Not in the sense that it is a tale untold, for that would imply that I'm not telling it to you right now. This is a tale that is remarkable in its own way as it is about someone who is decidedly unremarkable.

Now Favondale has plenty of stories about heroes destined to become kings or vanquish evils. Lovers destined to find their happily ever after or face nothing but tragedy in the process. Gods who are slain and whose power is taken by mortals seeking that which they do not understand. This is not one of those stories.
This story starts far away from the dark and horrible crypts and dungeons deep beneath the surface or the mythical mountains that pierce the very heavens. It starts furthest away from the bustling cities of great renown found in glorious kingdoms. And though our story starts within a grand kingdom with its own history and lore to discover, we will not begin our story at the epicenter of that kingdom nor anywhere as grand.
For somewhere on the border of the kingdom of Everglave, there exists a small nameless village. Within that unremarkable village exists an equally unremarkable girl. That girl's name...is Lenraeya.
