Korsha's a mage.
Blessed by the power of Azaelah, Sixth Daughter to the Imperial Goddess.
To bad Azaelah led a failed rebellion against her mother and is now known as the Betrayer.
Korsha lives in service to the great Arshan Dominion. Forever struggling to atone for the arcane taint pressed upon her soul in her mother's womb. Found by her master as a child, he has poured exhaustive resources into her training. Now she stands as an Imperial Binder. Using her skills and abilities, Korsha hunts down spirits, binding them so that they may find purpose in the mechanisms that fuel the Dominion.
Her sole aim is to redeem her soul and ensure her passage into the Goddess's afterlife. A task easier said than done given her profession.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
All she has to do is not die before she's earned her redemption.

These are a collection of short stories that act as prequels to Korsha's debut novel: The Binding of Korsha.
As always, all my stories are set within my Legends of the Fall universe.

The Weaving of Shadows
The Power's out, a storm's coming and the shadows are watching.
On orders from her master, Korsha must figure out why a regional power plant has suddenly gone offline. As an accursed mage, she's forced to work alone. With no chance of backup, Korsha must explore the deserted halls to piece together the mystery of where all the crews went.
It won't take long as something's watching her.
It's a race to restore power and cast light into the darkness.
Lest she be drug into the shadows.
