Book 2. The Grand Gathering. Chapter 8. Rendezvous. (Part I)

Anatis watched the two girls approaching with a blank expression on his face and a freezing cold emptiness in his head. He loved Nila, but was more than aware of the explosive temper she had and tended to display very often; though it had almost always been directed at someone else, not at him.

“Hey, having fun?” Nila asked, leaning over the wooden fence and looking at Anatis with a very scary smile on his face.

“I-… uh, I’m not…” Anatis mumbled, so nervous that he couldn’t think clearly or rationally at all. He saw Siana jumping over the fence without any regard for proper manners and without caring to introduce herself to the girls and women sitting in the area, but he had more problems of his own than to worry about what was going to happen to Laien.

“You don’t need to look so frightened,” Nila said with a chuckle and just like Siana did, jumped inside without asking for permission, then sat beside Anatis. “You really think I wouldn’t trust you? I bet it was his idea to come here, right?” she asked with a smirk, then hurriedly turned to look at Laien and the silver-haired girl, who both were so absorbed in what they were doing that neither of them noticed Siana standing right behind them.

“Thank Heavens,” Anatis groaned silently, feeling a bit bad for not trusting Nila not to throw a tantrum… but given her temper, how could he have expected her to be so calm about finding him in the crimson district?

Thankfully, it appeared she decided to be quite understanding with him, what in itself was a surprise for him. Was it because of Siana’s influence…? Now that he thought about it, the fact that he had already spent a week playing and training with Laien and barely talked with Nila during this period of time was something he would have never expected to happen.

To be completely honest, he was always secretly telling himself that Nila would be perfect if only she was a bit less domineering and a bit more relaxed. He didn’t mind a strong woman at his side, but sometimes it was beginning to suffocate him to always, at every time of the day and each day of the week have Nila guard and protect him in her own way. However, considering what she had done and was still doing for his sake, he would have never been able to bring himself to complain to her about it in any way. Yet, now this little problem seemed to have been solved.

“I wonder what’s going to happen,” Nila commented quietly, her attention focused on the siblings. Anatis did the same now that he had calmed down, so did Alex’s three friends and most of the women who even without knowing who Siana was, understood what most likely was happening and were curious to see how the situation would develop.

“Big brother,” Siana whispered into Laien’s ear as she seated herself at his side. What everyone imagined happening the next second was Laien jumping up in panic, or at least getting startled… but instead, he lazily pulled away from Alex’s lips, looked at Siana and smiled.

“What is it?” Laien asked calmly, not fretting over Siana’s sudden appearance in the slightest.

“You should know what,” Siana said seemingly seriously, but chuckled right afterward. “You’ve got a good taste, big brother. She’s beautiful; it makes me a bit jealous though,” she stated as she appreciated the amusing, flushed expression on the silver-haired girl’s face.

“I would introduce you, but it seems Alex is a little out of it at the moment,” Laien said with a laugh and glanced at Alex, who was breathing heavily and had a dazed look in her eyes.

“And whose fault is that, huh, big brother?” Siana asked teasingly and grabbed Laien’s shirt around his shoulder, then raised herself up slightly and pulled him in… and actually kissed him deeply and strongly; although not for too long, just for a few seconds.

After they separated, the two siblings exchanged a glance with each other and chuckled as if nothing strange was going on. On the other hand, those who were watching them were slack-jawed and dumbfounded. Especially Nila felt as if she had been struck by lightning, no longer having any idea whatsoever what to think of the relationship between Laien and Siana.

“Mnn?” Alex moaned, her mind slowly returning from the dreamland it was in for the past few minutes. She had just managed to catch the moment of Laien’s and Siana’s lips separating; it made her feel more confused than annoyed though.

“Is that your little sister…?” Alex asked without thinking. “No, wait. It couldn’t be,” she murmured to herself and shook her head. Although this girl looked exactly like Laien described his little sister, he wouldn’t have kissed her if she really was… or would he?

“Yes, I’m Siana; his little sister. And you are?” Siana asked with a slight smile, using this opportunity to take a better look at Alex’s face.

“I’m Alex,” Alex said in confusion, wondering if she hadn’t seen something wrong. Maybe it wasn’t an actual kiss, but just a peck on the lips?

“Mm, nice to meet you,” Siana said quietly, her smile turning mischievous. “It’s not fair that only big brother gets a taste of you,” she whispered, snuggling herself over onto Laien’s other leg and leaning towards Alex.

“This smile is just like Laien’s when he…” the thought crossed Alex’s mind, but her head instantly emptied itself of all thoughts when Siana gave her a kiss and sneaked her tongue inside her mouth.

Yet, the shock of having the little sister of a boy she was just making out with kissing her lessened fairly quickly. For her, it wasn’t the first time kissing a girl; she spent her whole life in an all-girls school, after all. It wasn’t that strange for her and her friends to fool around with each other from time to time, just like some of their seniors would openly act like couples in love.

“That’s so hot,” Laien thought quietly as he watched Siana and Alex kissing, very much enjoying the sight of two girls making out on his lap.

“His little sister seems to be as carefree as he is,” Lara commented cheerfully. “That’s the first time I see Alex getting so much into it, she was always acting so shy with us!” she said with a laugh, causing Nila to look at her with disbelief. Were these things really so common in single-sex schools…?

“Eh, I don’t care anymore,” Nila laughed helplessly and rested her shoulder against Anatis. She simply came to the conclusion that she won’t understand whatever was going through those people’s heads, but since she liked them, she wouldn’t think about it too deeply. Since Laien and Siana were having fun going overboard like this, then who was she to be telling them to stop?

“Say,” Anatis spoke up and hugged Nila with his arm. “Don’t you think we could also… you know?” he asked, having a hard time bearing with it after those three had shown him so many arousing things.

Nila appeared to be very surprised by Anatis’s suggestion at first as Anatis had very rarely initiated anything intimate between them in the past. It was always her who needed to take the lead and make it very obvious to him what she wanted, yet now he was suggesting to make out and what’s more, in front of all those people?

“Sure,” Nila chuckled happily and moved over, seating herself astride Anatis’s legs. “So, what do we do now?” she asked, encouraging Anatis to take the lead with her.

Anatis didn’t need to be asked twice; he placed one of his hands on Nila’s waist, slid the other under her shoulder and onto her back, then pulled her into a sensual, warm and greedy kiss.

Nila was a bit startled by how forcefully Anatis came at her, but she relaxed almost instantly. She closed her eyes and hugged him back, indulging herself in the very pleasant warmth of her boyfriend’s body and the wet sensation of his their joined together lips.

“Look at them all making out,” Lara said with a grumpy smile. “I wish I had a boyfriend or a girlfriend too…” she mused aloud, sneaking glances at both kissing and snuggling parties.

“Hey, don’t hog her all to yourself,” Laien complained with a smile and squeezed the side of Siana’s stomach, nearly making her jump up in the middle of a kiss with Alex.

“Aren’t you a bit too impatient, big brother?” Siana chuckled and sneaked a quick kiss from Laien before letting him do as he wanted.

“Well then,” Laien kissed Alex once again, giving her barely any time to rest. At the same time, Siana apparently chose to add on top of it and started lightly fondling Alex’s growing breasts over the shirt, what resulted in Alex moaning into Laien’s mouth.

“It’s so unfair, she isn’t much older than me but hers are much bigger,” Siana pouted in a somewhat loud voice, the fooling around between the three of them beginning to attract a bit too much attention of the various guests of the bar.

“Don’t be going too far in here, okay?” Anna mentioned casually, noticing how the snuggling between the two siblings and Alex was slowly escalating. She didn’t mind having her junior blow off some steam, but even she had limits as to what she would tolerate being done in public.

“Nn, I think I’ve had enough for now anyway.” Siana backed off from Laien and Alex and took a deep breath. She looked at the woman who spoke to them and when she saw her, she instantly became interested. The woman gave off a big-sister-like feeling, what in itself was enough to make Siana want to talk with her for a bit and maybe even become friends with her if possible.

“You look like you want something,” Anna said amiably, recognizing the look on Siana’s face easily enough due all the years she spent dealing with young girls in the Black Rose School. “Want to come over? If you are fine with sitting at the corner, that is,” she said with a slight smile, pulling over one of the free pillows behind her and putting to her right.

Siana smiled brightly and without wasting breath on pointless words, moved to the second low table and sat at Anna’s side.

“Looks like you need to be content with just me,” Laien chortled, giving Alex some time to catch a breath.

“I think I need a little break,” Alex panted, the whole experience with Laien, then with Laien and Siana at the same time having tired her out thoroughly.

“I guess this time we can be the ones watching,” Laien grinned, looking at Anatis and Nila who managed to totally forget about the world around them and were focused solely on each other. “Didn’t expect these two to be acting so greedy and erotic, they are usually so stiff and serious,” he commented, amused by what he was seeing.

“So, what do you think of my little sister?” Laien brought up, reaching out for Alex’s glass of wine and handing it to her, then picking up his own and taking a sip.

“She’s very similar to you,” Alex said honestly, then added with a laugh. “You even kiss in a similar way.”

“That’s not surprising.” Laien chuckled. He and Siana had always been very close, much more so than normal siblings. After he had made Cran teach him how to kiss, the innocent smooches between him and Siana turned into something more exciting, though the two of them had never gone much further than that.

“Both of you like to fool around a bit too much,” Alex said helplessly, the feeling of Laien’s and Siana’s lips still lingering on hers.

“Maybe,” Laien said with a cheeky smile and glanced Alex in the eye. “But you didn’t dislike it, right?” he asked with a chuckle, failing to recall any kind of resistance on Alex’s part.

“I didn’t. In fact, it was a pretty amazing experience,” Alex admitted, while at the same time wondering when had she become so brave as to straightforwardly say something so embarrassing without a second thought.

“It totally was,” Laien laughed, commending himself for the idea to come to the crimson district tonight. He liked to train and very much enjoyed making breakthroughs, but such a change of pace once in a while was very important to him too.

With the atmosphere remaining cheerful and somewhat mischievous, the time flew on. Soon, two more hours passed. It was around the midnight when two youths, escorted by four young men spotted the same group of young women and girls Laien and Anatis had joined a few hours ago.

Actually, it wasn’t the first time some youths or men took note of Anna, Alisia, Alex and the others. However, most of those who did were dissuaded from approaching the group due to the natural aura of strength and superiority surrounding the girls, which was only enhanced by their exquisite looks. They simply felt they weren’t up to the par and preferred to spare themselves the humiliation of being told to go away.

One might have thought that beautiful girls would be courted in a very insistent, intrusive way if they went to drink in the crimson district… but most of the men had enough brain to realize that those beautiful women more often than not weren’t stupid themselves. Since they dared to go around drinking without any escort, then it could mean only one thing; they didn’t need it!

Yet, in every place of the world, there were some spoiled young masters and some idiots who would find it unthinkable that someone might be displeased by their advances; and they would similarly be incapable of understanding that actual consequences would follow if one tried to poke the sleeping bear with a stick one too many times.

As for how many times the bear those two youths were about to intrude upon needed to be poked before he would roar and claw with his paws… the two of them were about to learn.

“Rishard, look there! Look!” a youth about twelve years of age called out excitedly while shaking his friend by the shoulder and pointing in the direction of the open bar with his finger.

“What are you fretting over again?” Rishard asked resignedly, slowly beginning to regret taking this friend of his to the crimson district. He lazily looked where Andar pointing to, expecting to see another above-average group of women just like those Andar got excited by on three previous occasions during the last ten minutes, but what he saw exceeded his wildest imaginations.

Given his status, he often had chances to socialize with beautiful girls. If he as much as said a word, he could get any woman do whatever he wanted! Yet, he had never seen any girl quite like any of those three who were chatting at the low table; the slightly younger one with black, long silky hair, the one with long silver hair and the one with medium-length golden hair! Any of those three alone would have been enough to bewilder him, but there they were in one place, all three of them exactly like in his dreams and fantasies!

“See? Told you I’m going to find us some amazing girls!” Andar said proudly, not even trying to hide his over-eagerness.

“You did, you did,” Rishard patted his friend on the back and gave his four bodyguards a look. “We’re going there, don’t make too much of a fuss,” he said virtuously, preferring to avoid the commotion in case everybody around realized who he was.

The young man in his early twenties rolled his eyes the moment the young master looked away. “Just bear with him and do not comment on anything. Commander promised me that I would get an earlier promotion if I serve this brat for three years and cause no trouble,” the young man reminded himself for the hundredth time in the last month.

“The kid’s father pays well too, so all the more reason to keep biting my tongue properly,” the young man thought with a sigh, following Rishard and Andar into the bar with his three subordinates. “They sure have some guts though, these girls and women are all out of their class,” he murmured to himself, truthfully feeling some pity for Rishard. Just a little bit, though.

“Hey ladies, do you think we could keep you company for the night?” Rishard asked with a confident smile, his gaze stopping at the youngest of the three he had found interesting, the black-haired one. From close-up, he could definitely tell that this girl was his ideal; he wouldn’t mind making her his future wife if her character proved to be at least manageable!

In his excitement, the young master failed to read the mood in the slightest. He didn’t even notice the annoyed look on Laien’s face or the dangerous flash of killing intent in his eyes.

When Laien lived with his little sister in the Valius mansion, Siana was still too young to be considered a girlfriend material. Any advances she had been a target of were rather innocent; like the ones of Rune, to which Laien hadn’t been opposed at all.

Subsequently, no boy dared to approach Siana without caution over the two past years in the Red Dragon School. Siana’s fairly antisocial attitude and what other disciples often called a ‘brother complex’ when the siblings couldn’t hear caused all but the bravest souls to keep their distance; and even those brave ones had all been dismissed by Siana without hesitation.

Thus, so far there was no one who tried to seriously pursue Siana, much less dare to look at her with lecherous eyes in Laien’s presence. To be put in such a situation for the first time… Laien found it more infuriating than he would have ever suspected.

“No,” Siana rejected Rishard’s suggestion flat out, repulsed by the way this youth was looking at her no less than Laien was angered by it.

“Now, now, there’s no need to be shy about it,” Rishard chuckled, for some reason completely misinterpreting the reaction of the siblings.

“Right, what does it hurt you to let us join you?” Andar picked up, scared that a perfect opportunity to talk with beautiful girls would be lost right before his eyes. “My friend here is quite an important person, you know?” he hinted, referring both to the consequences of refusing their request and the possible benefits of accepting it.

Surprisingly, or maybe by this point unsurprisingly, Andar’s mood reading abilities were just as good as Rishard’s. The two of them promptly interpreted the mocking smiled and looks of ridicule as a sigh of hesitation and uncertainty. Feeling obliged to ease those negative emotions, they jumped over the wooden fence and made their way to the table.

“Who gave you the permission to join them?” Anna asked coldly, with quite a bit of anger reverberating in her voice. Above anything else, she hated people who couldn’t listen and were shameless enough to use their position to pressure other people into doing their bidding.

“Please be understanding with our young master, he means no harm,” the young bodyguard of Rishard’s spoke apologetically and bowed his head to Anna. He wanted to mitigate the situation which was quickly getting out of hand, but alas, his efforts backfired almost instantly.

“What are you even saying? Of course, I mean no harm, why would I?” Rishard asked in confusion, missing the point of what his bodyguard said by a mile. To make the matters worse, he seated himself at the empty spot just to Siana’s left while his friend forced himself in-between Lara and Nila.

Objectively speaking, both Rishard and Andar were courting death, although they weren’t yet aware of it.
