chapter 6
Conraua
The weather was still gloomy although it had rained yesterday.
Aadu had a very good sleep. He had overslept due to the fatigue and tiredness, it was already late afternoon but still he had
his heavy breakfast and stored his awning, tent and traps. He had enough food to last him 4 more lunches and also had plenty
of water. Aadu then headed his way towards Ubbin village. He still had about 7 hours of jourey left in the forest.
Only after walking for 3 hours the sky turned dark he lit up his torch and went futher.
"Is it just me, this feels very uncomfortable. It was still a bit early to be dark" Aadu thought.
The darkness of the forest was thickening. With no light in sight. Following the path,
he ran the back of my hand across all the trees. They felt weird, like coral from under the sea, the moss cold and wet, the bark
sharp and bumpy. Aadu crept through the deserted forest. Aadu thought he could feel people behind me, but when he looked back, not a soul was there.
As the path reached deeper into the mysterious woods, his torch flickered and eventually turned off. Everything went dark,
but he stumbled on, feeling my way around, finding new paths that would hopefully lead me out, in his desperate attempt to escape this
nightmare that he feared would never end.
As Aadu continued his journey, the trees started to shiver and the birds cried out in fear as they fled from their nests.
The smell of burning wood flew through the air, spreading it’s contagious disease. Twigs and dead leaves made a deafening crunch
underneath my feet as my never-ending journey carried on. When he turned the next corner, the trees stopped shaking and everything
went deadly silent. Aadu was scared if he took one tiny step that he would wake up the whole world. He didn’t move but as the trees started
to cast towering shadows over me Aadu started chattering in fear. Aadu was desperate to move but he didn’t dare disturb the peace that the
forest had created. Only Aadu had felt that. The forest looked so frightning on in Aadu's view.
With a hint of menace, a big creature slowly made his way towards Aadu. Aadu felt his Aura discomforting him. The color quickly drained from his face.
Aadu took a quick peak behind and saw a massive huge body 6 times his own size. His brain picked the figure and shape of the beast at a single glance.
Stolen story; please report.
That beast had a body of a frog but its size was huge. He was paralyzed to the spot, the menacing aura holding him in a tightening grip. Fear became a tangible,
living force that crept over him like some hungry beast, immobilizing Aadu; his brain.
It had slimy body parts, rows of sharp teeth, its skin as thick as a coat of thick armor and not to mention its intimitating aura!
Without any hesitation in mind, he ran breaking his limit, at this point he was moving at 1 mile everry 2 min . He ran but not in the
direction that he was suppose to. He went deeper on the forest forgeting about the path. The only thing that he had in his mind was 'SURVIVING'.
The beast was still chasing after Aadu. Aadu tried going faster and more faster. Running so fast that he thought his legs were going to explode.
it's hard to run, you cut yourself on small branches, the ground is uneven which makes it difficult to go fast, especially with the roots.
if Aadu had run at this speed in grassland he would have easily exceeded his speed, to a mile per minute.
Without even looking back, Aadu ran continiously for an hour only to find out that he had lost both the beast and his path. The evening sun cast
long shadows on the ground. The slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky. The sky was ablaze with the
fire of the setting sun. It was a cold night, the pale crescent moon shone like a silvery claw in the night sky. Aadu was all alone
terrified. He steady my breath and try to calm the panic. Pulse beating in his ears, blocking out all other sound. Aadu slowly regained
his rationality, though the beast haunted his mind. Aadu quickly thought of his situation, how hopeless he was. He escaped by sheer luck.
He took a deep breadth and climbed on the tree like yesterday and set up his awning and a small tent. He had good sleep due to fatigue.
Aadu woke up preety early, the day dawned crisp and clear. The rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. Golden fingers of sunlight
lit up the scene. The just-risen sun shone softly on the forest, bringing with it a flurry of early-morning activity. The weather was excatly
opposite in nature then it was yesterday. After having his breakfast, he went around the forest explored the surrounding area to his
tent(tree). Aadu then packed his stuffs and started looking for path, he wouldnt go back to yesterdays path but go opposite deeper in the forest
as the frog(beast) might still be there. He continuded moving forward exploring different landscapes , remembering the way
he came so he wouldn't get lost. He also didnt fell afraid of wolfs, for some reason he could outrun them. He has slightly faster then
the wolves. Dappled sun shone through the trees, creating mysterious shadows. It had already been Afternoon, aadu couldn't find anything intersting.
Time passed by in an instant. Sun slowly started set welcoming the moon, low cloud had invaded the sky promising the rain and possibly thunderstrom
Aadu was searching for a place to stay... up ahead in the distance he saw a cave. This cave was huge, there was no killing aura or any
discomporting aura so Aadu went inside. The more deeper he went , the more he felt like he was pushed by an invisible force but there
was also a feeling that ushered him inside. There was not a single creature there, not even trees nor any sign of life. He went deeper
in after going few dozen meter he found a olden book. He appraised the book and -
