Legacy: Another World - Season 2 Teaser

Grains of sand burned beneath my feet.

“DON’T YOU DARE TOUCH ME!”

The three drawstrings on the beige cotton bag unfastened. What fell revealed what rose.

“I... don’t want to be near you, Chloe.”

The blade danced through the heat under a guidance that cleared the obstacles in front. Dungeons had their limit; they couldn’t compare to this current experience.

“Daddy!!”

A Ki made up of an innumerable amount of white swords exploded around me. Growth came. Improvement knocked on the door, so I let in. This time was different. This time, it wasn’t about revenge. She did what she did, but I had a daughter I needed to protect.

“Why are you in Outer Astril?”

In the desert, there were rules—a well-established custom that outsiders had to respect. They had their own kind of monsters, but I didn’t care then, and I didn’t care now.

Slow movements calmed the spectres of the past and made each heartbeat clearer than the last. The Path of the Sword connected many together. Some were so powerful they stood at the top. Others were so extraordinary they were recognised and praised.

“You’re nothing compared to me, DUNGEON MANIAC!!”

Closed eyes tightened the blinds of darkness, so the heart could beat. Cracked lips curved upwards at the rising heat when an arc of Sword Ki sliced through the layers of sand. I spun the hilt around my fingers before shooting ahead. One wall after another shattered in front of clear progress aimed in the right direction.

“If you do this, I’ll have to kill you, Shun Ravendawn.”

I spiralled up into the air, but there was no need to utilise Ki Artifacts.

“You’re still weak, Dungeon Maniac.”

A single slash annihilated the area.

“You chose the wrong side to fight for.”

Silence came once the sand settled. Eyes opened to the grains that extended beyond what I could see. Powerful people existed in the world of Ayadell. Was I on my way to becoming one of them? Or was this only the tip of the iceberg?

‘...’

My fist hit the palm of my hand before I bowed. I couldn’t care less about the answers to those questions, so I walked on. If I couldn’t go back to my own world, then I needed to think about what I would leave behind. It was time to lay the foundation for a legacy to be built. A legacy that would remind everyone it’s not about how you start. It’s about how you finish.

Bare feet sank into the sand, leaving a trail of footprints the wind failed to wash away.

I was alone but not alone.

It started that way, but it wouldn’t end that way.
