"The world of Atlantean is a world with diverse races. Races with myriad abilities, unique race, special races...and so on. Yet the World of Atlantean was first conquered not by the humans...not by the shakuunis, but by the Atlanteans.
Legend has it that the Atlanteans were treated as slaves by the Shakuunis. They were treated mercilessly, treated as aboriginals.
Years passed and this continued...until a Progidy suddenly emerged. An Atlantean Progidy; no one knew his true name or his true origins. But he was given the name: The First True Atlantean...
War erupted...battles were fought, lives were lost. Blood flowed like river, kingdoms were destroyed and torn apart like papers. A war of such magnitude had never occured.
Eventually The First True Atlantean, who would eventually be called: King Atlantean, finally defeated the leader of the Shakuunis, but who knew what happened on that day.
King Atlantean brought back a kid of unknown origin, and he was named: Prince Atlantis. A man of talent, bravery and immense strength. He showed great talents from young age.
Everyone assumed he would eventually become the king after his father, King Atlantean.
But it seemed fate had other things in store. On a fateful day...Prince Atlantis suddenly went berserk...killing hundreds of citizens. Various lives were lost, yet this wasn't the worse thing that happened.
The prince who was supposed to be an Atlantean as said by King Atlantean, turned out to be a member of their arch race...the Shakuunis.
Yet for some unknown reason, the king loved this adopted son of his so much that he was never able to kill him. He just couldn't bring himself to kill him. Yet he knew should Atlantis become the King, lives would be lost, he would have betrayed his people, but he also knew if he killed Atlantis...he would have betrayed his wife.
Lost in thought, pondering and wondering the way out. He finally asked his advisor, who was also his master. And his master came up with a solution.
A battle should be held. Among the various progidies of the entire race within the world of Atlantean, and whoever wins will become the next king of Atlantean, since the king himself had no feasible heir.
This plan seemed feasible. Therefore, the advisor of the king knowing the king won't agree to it, ordered for all those present when Atlantis had turned into his true form to be secretly killed.
Upon killing the witnesses who had already been captured long ago. The king finally issued the beginning of the Kingship battle.
But who would have known Atlantis had already schemed with the Shakuunis, who gave him a poison. And although he successfully poisoned King Atlantean.
But Atlantean wasn't the most powerful for no reason, with his astounding physique; he managed to stay alive and die killing the entirety of the Shakuunis with only prince Atlantis as the last living survivor of the race.
Atlantis didn't mind the death and destruction of the Atlanteans. After all, the only reason he agreed to join hands with them was because they would help him to get his father's legendary treasure, The DarkNorth Bow.
His right, and one which he would do anything to get. It was only as a result of having this treasure that king Atlantean was able to singlehandedly supress the myraid of races.
And the kingship battleship would take place as ordered by King Atlantean before his demise. And that would be tomorrow."
An old man with deep black pupils, long white beards and grey old hair ended his tale...or was it really a tale...or actually a true legend that was about to come through.
"So...all this so called tale or legend about King Atlantean and his ungrateful son...how does that have to do with me."
Said a teenager with light blue pupils and snowy white hair.
Einstein glanced at the old man with a nonchalant expression obvious on his face.
The old man smiled after hearing the kid's words.
He suddenly waved his hands...and a bow suddenly appeared. The bow radiated an immense icy cold energy, but Einstein could swear this wasn't icy energy yet it was icy energy of sort.
Indeed...it gave off a chilling icy coldness, but it also gave off a kind of deathly aura as though it was the weapon of the god of death itself!!
"Wh...at is this." Einstein stuttered as he questioned.
"The legendary DarkNorth Bow of King Atlantean."
Einstein pupils almost bulged out from his eye sockets. He wasn't that dumb. With everything the old man had said, he was able to come up with a valid and reasonable conclusion.
If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.
The king, Atlantean is dead. His son was trying to take over the throne well more precisely get this legendary DarkNorth Bow.
Yet the last character that was attached with importance in the tale, or one that could possibly be with the bow was none other than....
"You are the king's advisor!" Einstein said in shock.
"Shssh kid...we are in the library." The king's advisor replied.
"Anyways am sure you also want this treasure."
He further added.
Einstein squinted his eyes upon hearing that. Indeed he wanted this treasure. He could feel the immense power contained within it. Just from Its presence alone, it felt as though space itself was being frozen.
"What do I have to do." Einstein replied.
"Good...good..." The old man said.
"Seems the prophecy is right." He muttered.
But this didn't escape Einstein's ears.
"What prophecy." Einstein questioned with a raised brow.
"Well...before king Atlantean died. He told me of an upcoming prophecy.
A teenager with light blue pupils and snowy white air that seemed surreal would suddenly appear. And I..."
"And you are what." Einstein urged.
Sigh!!!
"And I am to give the DarkNorth Bow to the person."
Einstein suddenly had his mouth wide open.
'First of all, he was shocked as to how the Atlantean king could have prophesized such a thing.'
Second of all,
A wide smile spread across his face.
"You mean I am getting this Bow for free?"
Einstein questioned the old man, while pointing at the bow.
"Yes...according to the king's word...but I will only give it to you provided you promise to participate in the tournament that will take place tomorrow." The old man said with resolution.
"Hmm...fine by me." Einstein muttered.
'After all...I also get to throw some fists.'
"Alright get some rest."
The old man said while pointing at a small room beside the left hand side of the library.
As soon as Einstein made way to go inside the room.
Wait...The old man said.
As Einstein turned back.
"Take." The old man said, before he waved his hands towards the bow.
As the bow suddenly flew towards Einstein.
Einstein immediately caught it with a bright smile on his face, though he was still confused as to why the old man suddenly had a change of mind...and gave him the DarkNorth Bow.
"Am sure that's enough to show my sincerity." The advisor said, as Einstein nod his head in satisfaction.
"Yeah... it's more than enough." He muttered.
After entering the room. He sat on the bed with a smile.
*System, what is this artifact's grade.*
'I don't think even the artifacts at home are as powerful as this artifact.' Einstein looked at the bow in his hands that radiated intense icy coldness with a look filled with curiosity.
[The Bow is of the legendary grade.]
*Hmm... Legendary grade. What the hell is that.*
*I only know that we have: mortal/common grade, awakened grade, elite grade and finally epic grade.*
[Hmph, who said those were the only grades within the vast universe. Anyways, all the host needs to know is that, the artifact will be of use even to the host, and that, for a long time.]
*Hmm...I see. Guess that's fair enough.*
Einstein laid on the bed, as he slowly fell asleep.
*******
Sun rose into the sky, Its warm rays illuminating the surface of the earth.
"Rise and shine kid. It's time." The king's advisor suddenly appeared within the room.
As Einstein grunted in reply. Before he slowly got up from the bed.
Ten minutes later.
Einstein suddenly appeared in a stadium, beside him was the king's advisor; holding the DarkNorth Bow in his hands, as a means of proof.
Einstein was left in shock by the amount of spectators...they numbered in hundred of thousands.
"Alright, let the tournament begin." The king's advisor said, before he slowly sat down.
"First Battle.
Prince Atlantis vs Teraz."
The referee within the battle arena suddenly said, as everyone outside the battle arena. The spectators, who sat outside of the battle arena all boomed out in the joy to witness the upcoming battle.
The battle between the prince of the Atlanteans and the Golden jade race Progidy; Golden Teraz.
Two participants slowly walked towards the Arena. Einstein squinted his eyes a little. He could feel the terrifying pressure and aura radiating from the two participants.
Glancing beside him...he knew for sure that only two other people apart from him seemed to be able to match them.
The first one was a teenager who had golden pupils and radiated a kind of warmth, yet within that warmth.
Einstein knew, an absolute terror was hidden.
And another participant, with eerie black eyes, almost as though he had no pupils, and strange black runes ran across the teenager's body.
Einstein felt a subtle yet hidden threat coming from the strange teenager.
"Huff...This is sure going to be fun. "
Einstein muttered with a bright smile.
As the two participants within the Arena.
Teraz, who had a golden hair and golden pupils vs Atlantis, who seemed to be no different from a human.
Which Einstein found weird...but he had a nagging feeling, Atlantis was far stronger than he seemed to be.
And slowly...it would be revealed.
"Let the battle begin." The referee said, and then...
Boom!!!!
The two fighters suddenly moved, literally tearing through the air. They moved with blazing horrific speed.
Astounding everyone outside, as cheers erupted forth.
And then....
Kabooom!!!!
A destructive ripple spread through space. As the two participants were thrown away from the impact.
"Aren't you too weak." Atlantis said with a smile, as he landed on his feet.
"Hmph, you haven't even seen my true form...and you have the effontry to be so arrogant." Golden Teraz replied, as he got up from his knees.
And suddenly, something that shocked Einstein started to take place before him.
Einstein had his mouth wide open, as he almost couldn't believe his eyes.
Golden Teraz suddenly started growing in size and height. His body structure started to change. He suddenly grew into a three meter tall giant...yet this wasn't all.
Golden Teraz body slowly started giving off a golden glow. As his entire body started turning gold.
From his feet's, to his hands...to the entirety of his body.
It seemed like some kind of racial transformation.
But while Einstein found it shocking, the spectators didn't.
"He finally revealed it."
"Oh, oh. If it isn't the legendary ability of the golden race." Atlantis mocked.
"Hmph, such arrogant words from a weakling.
How about I shut it up for you." Teraz replied with a smile.
Boom!!!!
He suddenly moved, the ground which he stood on previously, caved in.
As he pierced through the air like a shot arrow.
And before one could even blink, he suddenly appeared before Atlantis.
As he punched out with immense force.
Boom!!!!
The air whistled greatly, as mana surged forth from the hands of Teraz.
His hands shun even more brighter than ever, becoming a golden gauntlet.
"Finally making use of your gold element."
Atlantis said with a smirk, as he simply stood where he was .
And just when the punch was mere inches away from his face.
His right hand suddenly moved, holding the fist of Teraz, who had his eyes wide open. As though he had seen a ghost.
"How the heck is that possible." Teraz muttered in shock.
"Nothing is impossible." Atlantis said, smiling..
Teraz tried to break free from Atlantis grasps.
Only to be met with a blinding fast punch and then...
Kabooom!!!
The punch coated with mana and a kind of dark energy landed directly on his face.
He was sent flying through the air, spitting out a mouthful of blood as a result. He landed onto the ground with a loud thud, as he slowly reverted back into a human form, losing his racial state.
"Who the hell can tell me what just happened." Einstein yelled out, not in shock of the frightening and sudden power displayed by Atlantis.
But by the energy which both participants could mix with mana.
Luckily no one heard him amidst the violent eruption of cheers.
'How the heck is that even possible. Isn't mana the only way of cultivation.'
[Host doesn't need to be surprised or shocked. Since Mana Cultivation indeed...isn't the only way of cultivation.]
The system's voice resounded in his mind, as he ignored all the cheers that was going on around him.
This new knowledge was more than enough to make him curious and attentive.
*Am all hears.*
Of course with how vast the universe is. They would be others ways of cultivation, apart from mana cultivation.
But the question now remains...just what exactly are those other ways...and just how abound can they be.
