The Five Types of Torment

The Five Types of Torment

Nothingness....

Everything had felt so empty to him at that moment, He didn't understand..

A hustling wind rushed over him. Something about it felt off; it felt nostalgic, but so strange at the same time. It was bewildering.

He was so invested in his thoughts he didn't realize the ringing of his ears. It was faint but really annoying to him.

The air around left a bitter taste.

It smelled like an outhouse but somehow worse.

He felt a sudden jolt in his hand and started to feel real agony. A scream came from him it felt like no one heard it. starting to cry he was left crying and crying. Until it all stopped.

     .........................

He awoke to a start on a wooden bed. The sheets were yellow with pink polka dots which to him was a terrible combination. The bed made a squeak whenever he moved. The walls were a bare oak wood covering the wall. The ceiling was made out of stone but looked like it could break at any moment. This wouldn't be that strange if the room hadn't been completely empty other than a nice plank floor. No windows and one black wood door. He felt hazy and passed out.

He awoke again this time with a mason jar next to him that was empty.

He now knew someone lived here. Who though?

He decided to explore going towards the door not even realizing he was wearing a white tunic which fitted him quite well.

"Hello?" He said as he opened the door seeing the trees and shrubs around realizing he was now outside. He didn't know what was going on anymore but decided to venture out into the unknown, but he contemplated if he should stay because who knows what's out there.

The sky was a bright orange. It was probably dusk.

The trees were so close together it was too hard to make out what was ahead but he still managed a path through.

He saw a bright light. He went running towards it only to see a circular area where all the trees and shrubs have died. An ominous grey dirt was the only thing in the patch. He then tried to go further...... He realized he couldn't move.

A sudden jolt down his spine he started panicking and crying for help which for him felt so nostalgic. It then hit him that he didn't remember anything before this which caused more panick within him.

It was until a loud thumping sounds came towards him......

A gigantic Bear! The bear looked like it was two times bigger than him if it standed but more ominously was all the scars on his body, the biggest being on its eye.

More scared than ever he tried to get out with all his force screaming and trying to flail out but no luck.

It was only until the bear had began to charge towards him. Its legs were large and stubby but yet it moves so fast.

The bear then opens its jaw and collapsed it on his head. Leaving only a Little stub of bone on his neck.

The body fell down. Blood gushed out.

It was only then that harsh torment began to really start.

To Be Continued......
