The evening sun made a highway of oranges and yellows, stretching across the bay into the horizon.
A cool breeze drifted from the shoreline, triggering Unit S0B's sense receptors.
"Tommy, I am detecting high amounts of moisture in the air, further exposure may cause corrosion. Recommended to exit immediately."
Tommy drank his beer and fiddled with the button on his coat.
"Don't worry about it! We can always patch you back up at the lab, but watching the sunset? People today are too strung out to enjoy the small things in life. It's a privilege you shouldn't take for granted."
"..Affirmative."
They sat on a log, watching the waves roll and tumble like the spin cycle on a washing machine.
It started to get a little darker.
"How do you feel right now?" Tommy asked.
"How do I feel?" S0B tilted his head in thought.
"Happy, and Sad."
"Now why both?"
"Happy, because I am here with Tommy watching the sun set."

Tommy gives a short chuckle.
"I'm glad you think so highly of me."
"You are my father afterall."
Silence.
After drinking another beer and fiddling with the button, he replied.
"So why are you sad?"
S0B looked down on the sand.
"This might be the last time ill ever see you and the sunset."
Dzr
One child inspects every angle of the robot. Running away from her mother, she summons the courage to ask.
"What are you?"
S0B smiled. His father had implemented a humanlike face for this exact purpose.
"I am like you." replied S0B.
Her eyes drift to the legs, which were sleek and sharp.
She giggles.
"Why are your legs so weird?"
S0B didn't understand the question. If Father made his legs, how could they be weird?
So he replies. "What makes them.. so weird?"
"Cuz they're different!"
S0B sat silently.
The girl got bored after a few more questions and ran back to her mother.
"...it said it was like me!"
After hearing about it more, she promptly scolded the girl.
