(THIS PROJECT IS TERMINATED.) Each time Parry made it to the end he had a choice, Destroy the Creator? (y/n): "Do it, you're ready, you can defeat me, it should be child's play." That damn voice purred around him from the darkness, taunting, vicious, amused, and worst of all, ambiguous. Was it a bluff or a goad?   He'd gathered so much strength this time. No creature in the world could stand against him, not the Lord of Smiles, not the Dragon All-Sky, not the Most Dead, not even the Noon Star. No house or nation, no Ruin or Hour could harm him. Half the world served him, the rest scurried in fear. That mocking voice all around him: "You're ready, just do it, you don't have to go back." Back to the world, to the beginning, another run through a life of joy and pain, terror, triumph, friends and foes, exhaustion. Hope.  Every life lived he seeded the world with clues to help him next time around. Had he found them all? Could the ones he left for himself this time make the difference if he lived just once more? His voice felt small and alone: "I'm almost there, I've nearly got all the power I need." There must be more--there might be more? The void answered with mocking laughter...  So Parry went back, born again, to live again, fight again, with only scattered memories of his countless tries and the clues he had left himself. Could he claw his way once more to this final choice? Would he have enough power, and courage, to break this endless cycle? Did he even understand what was trying to stop him?
