2045 - 10 years since an expiration date was put on our dying Earth, and the year the last rockets launched.  Alex, against all odds, has found himself on the access arm leading to the last ferry to depart from Earth.  Once aboard one of the mammoth transporters waiting in orbit, Alex second guesses whether staying with the billions of others left behind would have been a better choice.  A journey fraught with disaster, conflicts, old-world politics, and the realisation that humans have moved from being the big fish in the pond to a small fish in the sea as they are hit by an anomaly.  Do we have free-will beyond our own planet?  Are humans doomed to repeat the same mistakes over again?  Is this how life began on Earth?  These are questions Alex and the passengers aboard the Transporter Salvation ask themselves as they take part in a journey into the unknown of the cosmos.
