The lasershark might have known there it was going to go but alas Sharkosoft™ had other plans. They viciously released an update for Realsharktek Semiundersea Corp.'s hardware.

Declining the update was out of the question since there was no button to decline anywhere in lasershark sight. It was probably possible if the lasershark was willing to dwell into itself and acess its inner menu. In hindsight, not doing that and just accepting the update was a radical mistake.

While updating the lasershark had to hibernate on the floor of the lasersea. That had made it vulnerable to all other creatures roaming the place particularly cyberdolphins those mechanically and genetically augmented rapist and serial killers. They were the real terror of the lasersea.

It was the cyberdolphins who made it impossible far anyone to fish in the lasersea. Even fishermanariads "The fisher aliens from the deep space" didn't want to get in trouble with them and left the lasersea alone under the terror of its own mammalian monsters.

Luckily, the lasershark was not spotted by any af many cyberdolpins raids and was not raped into submission in its hebirnation.

But during the update installation it turned out that the lasershark didn't have enough memory space. The lasershark wanted to abort the installation immediately but the update didn't want to die without serving its duty. The update overpowered all of the lasershark's mental defences and hacked into its bRAINos. It then deleted all the cache in the lasershark's system effectively making it into an amnesiac.

Like that the lasershark forgot where it was going to go but it sure as hell understood who it is going to kill next...
