Chapter 5
Enjoy~
A few days before Kueng Ning left his room to tell his mother the good news that he had already entered the Shedding Realm, only to be stopped by the old man. She was concentrating in reading the three Lost Phoenix Arts books in front of her.
After reading all the three books over and over again, she understood the context of the books and the necessary steps to use those skills, however she knows that this would be much harder, than the book entails.
Lost Phoenix Arts: Phoenix Cry, an attack that requires the cultivator too combine two different kinds of Qi into on attack. The Qi required to initiate this Art, would be Pure Phoenix Sun Qi as well as Sound Qi, two which are very rare and hard to master.
The Phoenix Cry is an Omni-directional that directly targets a cultivators insides, to be more specific it’s an attack that once heard will be a cultivator’s end. However, once mastered it could entirely burn a person’s whole being, including their soul, forever being dead and not able to enter the cycle of reincarnation.
Next, was the Lost Phoenix Arts: Soaring Blaze, a movement art that requires large amount of Pure Phoenix Sun Qi, this would allow the cultivator to turn their Qi into an exact mirror image of the wings of a Phoenix.
Though, it is mostly classified as a movement art, once mastered it can be used to attack with a devastating force behind it. Being able to burn all surrounding just by taking off into the air, or releasing large amount of heat for miles and miles.
Lastly, it was the Phoenix Sacred Arts: Rebirth. A unique godly art that would enable a cultivator to heal any wounds in seconds, instant regeneration, if you could say. However, for the wound to heal, it would require the same amount of Pure Phoenix Sun Qi. In short, the more severe the wound is, the more Qi will be used up.
But, that was not the true treasure of this art. The true usage of this art, is very true to its name, rebirth. An art that would allow one to resurrect, once they have been slayed in battle, or have been severely injured to the point that their foot is at death’s door.
However, this art has very harsh side-effects. One, they would lose all memories and it is not a hundred percent chance that they will regain said memories. Second, they will have the child of a mind, and it would take a few years before they return to their normal state. Lastly, the person’s Pure Phoenix Sun Qi will remain dormant, until they revert back to their normal mentality. Basically, this art would give a person to live a second live, with the cost of memories, mentality reverted to a child’s and a few years of lost cultivation.
Reading, knowing, and fully remembering everything, she knew that her current self was not enough. Even right now she cannot use the art
Knowing these, she went outside to the balcony and started to sit in a meditative position under the sun. The first hurdle that she has to overcome is to increase her Qi capacity. However, she was worried that she might not be able to handle it, since two years has already past when she stopped cultivating.
Contrary to her worries, when she started to absorbed Sun Qi, she noticed that her body was handling it pretty well, but more surprisingly the absorption rate was when faster compared to two years ago. She did not know how this happened, but she was elated with this fact.

When the Sun Qi entered her body and made contact with her blood, it suddenly started too radiated with a powerful heat, before proceeding to enter her dantian. That contact evolved the ordinary Sun Qi into Pure Phoenix Sun Qi. Absorbing the heat from the sun and using her Pure Phoenix Bloodline, it would make the heat radiated with fierce intensity and have a glow that would cause blindness.
However, there are dangers to this. She cannot hold large amounts of Pure Phoenix Fire Qi or else her body might just from the inside out. This is why, she is slowly absorbing the Sun Qi, making it transform using her rare bloodline, and slowly filling up her dantian with this new Qi.
When her dantian was filled up, from the continuous absorption and transformation of Qi, she opened her eyes and has a bright smile to her face. May’s red hair and eyes got lighter and there was a weird yet beautiful shine to it, her skin was now smoother and whiter, and her whole being seems to give off this royal heat.
Standing up, she saw the old man looking at his right hand with a serious expression. She called out to him, which broke him out of a daze and started approaching her.
“Elder, is everything alright?”
“Yes, I was just thinking of something. I see that you have obtained your Phoenix Qi?”
“Yes” she said happily, then lifted her hand to show the old man.
Gold-Fire Qi started to surround her hand and it gave a warm yet dangerous feeling that even the old man couldn’t help but sweat and take a few steps back. After a few seconds she dispersed the Gold-Fire Qi, but the residual heat was still there.
“AHAHAH, it has been a long time since I’ve seen and felt heat like this”
“Elder, you’ve experience this before?”
“Of course but, now is not the time to talk about it. Young master, is currently sleeping in his room, please get him ready, as well as yourself”
“Are we going somewhere?”
“It seems cultivating has made you lose your sense of time, but it’s understandable. You and young master have been in meditation for a month already, and today is the day that the cruise ship will leave for London, so we have to hurry”
“AH! I will get right on it, Elder!”
“I will wait for you two downstairs and stop calling me elder, call me Grandfather!”
“Yes, I understand”
Without saying anything more the old man disappeared from her sight and was now waiting downstairs. May, went to Ning’s room to check up on him and saw that he was sleeping. She started to go inside his room to wake him up.
