“Your power is astonishing, truly remarkable,” Galactus released boundless waves of the Power Cosmic, silver-blue light that grappled with Dan’s biofield. “I thought you were another servant of my ‘master,’ but now I’m certain that you are not. The power you summon is similar, but it carries no trace of his scent.”
“So glad that you finally understand,” Dan rolled his eyes, focused on the channel of power that rampaged through his body. The more he rode the edge of his limits, the higher he pushed those limits, a constant adaptation to the shadowed energy of the zone. “A bit late, but at least you’re capable of learning…”
Dan waved a hand and the space around them shifted, a transition to a grim toned version of the mirror dimension where Juggernaut and the others waited. He couldn’t risk bringing Galactus into the phantom zone just yet, lest the hungry titan feast on the zone itself, but he could entrap him within the phantom dimension spell.
“Finally, a chance to play,” A pitch-black hand reached up from Galactus’ shadow, large enough to wrap around the armoured fellow’s boot. Etrigan’s shark-toothed grin followed as he hurled Galactus toward the Juggernaut’s position. “I’ve been asleep so long, my skills have begun to decay!”
“Disgusting demon…” Galactus’ words vanished, forced from his lips as Juggernaut’s punch hammered against his chin. The crimson force of Cyttorak turned the giant’s head and formed the smallest crack in his armoured helm. “...an avatar of the Lord of Oblivion, a powerful one at that. Come here, little one, and I’ll send your soul to your master as a gift.”
“Don’t hyperfocus, Galan,” Dan landed a knee against Galactus’ skull and sent him into a spin, directly to the paws of Stormy and Bear. Both of the Kryptonian pets darted around the oversized opponent, claws and fangs directed against armoured flesh. “You can’t afford to ignore any of us!”
“INSECTS!!!” Galactus waved his hands to release a wave of cosmic force, enough to push the animals from his skin. Face twisted in rage, he opened his mouth and drew in an endless breath.
The phantom dimension of Dan’s spell distended, warped and folded as Galactus devoured its energy. The Eater of Worlds fueled his Power Cosmic with the ashes of Dan’s spell, a gluttonous consumption that spilled the group back into realspace.
Dan frowned, biofield extended to recast the spell. As expected, Galactus could feed on the phantom zone’s power. His absorption ability even threatened to draw in his biofield, resisted only due to his years of practice and fine tuned control.
“The longer we battle, the stronger I become,” Galactus smirked as he batted Juggernaut into the distance, a blow that raised a trickle of blood from Cain Marko’s lips. “Why not invite me into your personal realm, little god? It’s power would be a feast that could fill even my belly!”
Stolen story; please report.
“You’ll see my realm soon enough, Galan, just have some patiences,” Dan cast a glance toward Ego’s starsystem, where Tony and the others still worked diligently on the Lifebringer’s conversion. “Why don’t we change things up a bit?”
Violent purple light billowed from under his skin, the power of the infinity stone that Venom left buried in Dan’s flesh. The power gem added another burden onto his already strained body, an extra layer that nearly pushed him over the edge.
Directed into a concentrated beam, Dan let its destructive energy clash with Galactus' Power Cosmic. Reinforced by both phantom energy and the might of his biofield, it resisted Galan’s absorption and carved a ragged hole through the giant’s shoulder.
“IMPOSSIBLE!!!” Galactus flailed, forced to experience an unfamiliar pain as Dan used his biofield to rip chunks of flesh from inside his opponents armour. “Nothing exists inside all of creation that I cannot CONSUME!!!”
The pull of Galactus’ absorption magnified tenfold, empowered as the desperate giant burnt his Power Cosmic. A sweep of his arms cleared Stormy and Bear from his flanks, gaze focused on Dan’s with the fires of hate.
Slowly but surely, Dan’s energy bent into Galcatus’ maw, consumed and converted by the gluttonous behemoth. A resurgence of silver-blue radiated from within him, a glow that sealed over and healed his gored shoulder.
“So it seems,” Dan gave Tony another glance, a smile on his lips as he opened his arms toward Galactus. The void around them distorted, a wave of phantom energy that pulled them all into the depths of the zone. “Unfortunately for you, your time is up!”

“You can’t do this… tell them, sister,” the Son ground his teeth, jaw clamped tight as he struggled to rise from the ground. “Have you given up on the power that our Father has hoarded for himself all these years?”
“I never wanted it, brother, that was always your dream, not mine,” the Daughter shrugged her shoulders, seated opposite Qui-Gon on the stone floor of her Father’s monastery. “ All I need is my freedom. Compared to that, all the power in the universe has little value.”
“Freedom without power is just another way to say slavery,” the Son scoffed, red eyes fixed on Maul’s cold gaze. “Even after you’ve stolen my power, you will still have nothing. The Chosen one has the ear of the Force, it will abandon you to curry his favour as it did me…”
“I will not be so foolish as you,” Maul shrugged, a small smile on his lips that exposed a glimpse of teeth as he glanced at May. “Service doesn’t have to limit you, so long as you serve a worthy master. My dreams can be accomplished without the power of the Force, your stolen might is nothing but another responsibility I must bear.”
“Fool, I will…”
“That’s enough out of you,” Anakin sighed as he silenced the Son with a twitch of his hand. The mantle of the Lord of Balance had aged the young man, even in the short time since May had left him in Mortis. “Let’s complete the transference… I want to spend time growing accustomed to my power, not babysitting a rebellious and whiny child.”
“I hope that, once my responsibility has been abdicated, I can spend more time on Krypton,” the Daughter smiled at May as Anakin began his work, a pressure that covered the land and took hold of the nexuses within her and her brother’s hearts. “It seems like a wonderful place to live out a mortal life…”
“Of course,” May smiled at the unusual woman. She had few true friends in the galaxy, one more would be welcome. “Even this brother of yours is welcome, though he’ll have to behave himself.”
The Son snorted, muscles strained as he continued his efforts to free himself. It was unlikely that the Celestial would obey Krypton’s laws, but May had no intention of letting him loose on the galaxy. Abeloth would love nothing more than to usurp a weakened Celestial to use as an avatar, something that May would kill to prevent.
‘Wonderful!” The radiant light within the Daughter's eyes faded, her connection to the Force drastically reduced as Anakin shifted her nexus point into Qui-Gon’s soul. “I can’t wait!”
