The voyage proceeded excellently for the first two days, despite the impetuous waves that shook the vessel. The northwesterly wind at the stern pushed the ship steadily in the desired direction. On the third day, however, a strong northerly wind arose, and with it a storm that threatened to capsize the ship. Natharol preferred to take refuge in a harbor on the Kelleric coast, waiting for conditions to improve. By the evening of the third day, the northwesterly wind had died down, and not a breath of wind stirred until late morning of the fourth day. With less than a hundred and fifty nautical miles to cover, Natharol decided to set off again using the auxiliary engine. The last leg of the journey was favored by the rise of a light southwesterly wind.
On the morning of the fifth day, the coasts of the Toadmane Isle came into view, and the crew prepared a dinghy for disembarkation.
