For no apparent reason, everything froze before the eyes of the cat. It tried to find any plausible explanation but what came up was it was a work of the incentive author that has written him/herself on a corner.

And just like that, the cat was teleported into a town without proper explanation besides the author being so stupid at planning.

As for the town, it was covered with snow just like the forest. Its streets were nearly empty as people just stayed within their houses because food is scarcely found at this time of the year.

And like the 4th wall of this chapter, the town's wall was completely crushed.

Why was it destroyed? The cat doesn't know because even the author know shit about it. It was probably placed to create some sort of symbolism but the cat ignored the wall and decided to take a tour of the town on the next chapter.
