Skill Creation (1)

[Name, Tyrant God, confirmed]

With the character created, Maz had a couple hours to spare before the game starts, so he decided to do some research. He got on his computer and on with a quick google search to find out as much as he could.

The game was developed by “venom” a no name company. At least they were before releasing this game. The beta testers were heavily controlled, and no information of the game was officially released, which means that those with any info, will have a bit of an advantage at the beginning. They mount the ranking list from the beginning, while other players are still looking for a decent quest in the newbie village. Of course, due to the lack of any solid information source, the advantage won’t last long, making the game as fair as possible.

After the first month, the exchange system will open, giving an advantage to the rich players, but at the same time, any skilled poor players won’t stay poor for long. Virtual reality has basically replaced wars. There are many cases where a conflict between countries is solved by an all-out virtual war. The participants of the winning side are heavily rewarded by their country, making professional gamers the powerhouses of a countries military.

Maz scrolled the screen looking for any valid information, but their seemed to be a lack of any trustworthy sources, so he decided to get something to eat before immersing himself in the game.

“A quick stroll for food is always refreshing”

Maz walked to his favorite shop. The food’s good, but more importantly the people were better.

“Hey uncle Ben” said Maz as he sat down

“Hey Maz, same order?”

“Yes please”

“Coming right up”

“hey Lin, long time no see, did you miss me?

A seductive blonde came through the kitchen doors carrying his order. A true beauty, with a voluptuous figure that would drive any man crazy, smooth white skin, and deep blue eyes. Sadly, she is not exactly the kind humble kind.

“What the hell do you mean by “long time”, you basically live here. You would starve if it wasn’t for our shop”

“well, the food is good”

“you could thank me for that”

“fine fine, stop barraging and put my food down before it gets cold”

“Here you go” Lin placed the bowl down on the table, but couldn’t help but notice the silver bracelet on his arm. “Is that a gaming device?”

“Yeah” Maz replied halfheartedly while slurping on his noodles

“WHAT! You actually started playing?? I thought you never had time? What’s your novice class? My group could sure use a tank in the future”

“Ehh, haha about that, let’s just say I’m not a tank”

“so what are u, don’t tall you’re walking the mage path??”

“Nope, let’s just forget about it, oh you reminded me, I gotta get going, see ya later”

“Hey, don’t just leave like that, answer me first!” but by that time, Maz was already gone, and there was no way she could catch up to him.

“Damn bastard, is he some kind of Olympic runner or something?? I’ll make sure to lock the doors next time.’

Maz found himself teleported to the newbie village. There is not much of a scene, just a lot of other players in the crowded square, a lot of players searching for the nearest quest to take, while the less experienced are wasting precious time to enjoy the realistic feeling of the game. But Maz didn’t pay attention to any of that, his face was glued to the announcement in front of him, with shock clear in his eyes.

[Congratulation!! Title “Fearless” unlocked]

[Fearless- Title rewarded to player with highest pain reception setting. Luck +10, perception +10, immunity to all mental attacks, and debuffs]

[10 fixed attribute points awarded for entering without Novice class]

Maz was in too much shock. The normal player would start off with a total of 10 fixed attribute points, yet he starts off with 4 times that value.

“4o fucking points. 40 god damn fucking points. If anyone knew this, they would die from greed. You could reach level 100 and still not have that. System, assign 5 point to each attribute!”

[Point assigned, showing status...

After managing to get over his shock, Maz knew what he had to do.

“Right now, I have an advantage over every sing player out there, whether its strength, intelligence, luck or perception, my only problem is the lack of skills from not having a novice class. Hmph, luckily for me, battle skills are what I excel at, haha, guess it’s time to create a skill”
