Alice looks over at the body of Franks lying face down next to the building. A shudder of fear went through her as she saw an arrow sticking out of Jason's back. Turning her head as she leans against him, she can feel the heat from his body.
Sitting back, she grabs the arrow carefully. "Jason, I need to pull the arrow out of your back and heal you." speaking with a tremor in her voice. He nods, and she fingers check the wound carefully as he winces and seeing that it is only a practice arrow and not a broad tip arrowhead. Signing in relief, grabbing the arrow with one hand and the other, she braced herself and pulled. A sound of tearing and sucking noise was heard as the arrow came out cleanly. Staring at the bloody tip and seeing blood bubbling out of the wound, she almost panicked before remembering her healing skill. A warm glow fell over the wound between her bloody fingers as the wound closed up. Within a minute, the spell let her know she had gained a hundred experiences for healing Jason to full health. Smiling wearily, she places her forehead against his shoulder.
With Alice's help, he staggers to his feet as he pats Alice's hand on the shoulder. He stumbles for a moment as he walks toward the corral fence. Feeling Alice's hand on his back as another bout of warmth flow through him giving him better strength to walk. Stopping at the corral fence that Hicks climb over. Seeing that Hicks has no weapons in his hands as the man staggers to the middle of the field.
He yells, "End of the road, Hicks!" Feeling Alice gasp as she pushes against his back and points to his right.
"Fuck you! Jason. All the fucking places in the world you have to move to, and you come here. Fucking asshole," and he staggered again as the crossbow bolt in his chest slowly drained his life from then bleeding chest. Hicks turns toward Jason gasping for air and raising his finger to give Jason the bird as a shadow appears from the right side. Jason turns and looks to where Alice was pointing and sees the most enormous god damn longhorn bull he has ever seen. Come roaring at Hicks and smashes his long horns and head into the man, and send him flying twenty feet like a rag doll into the northern fence of the corral. The body drops to the ground below the cracked fence to lay motionless.
"Shit!" Jason mutters in awe as he stares at the giant bull that would have made Paul Bunyan proud. The bull is at least three times the size of a regular Longhorn bull. Its horns are at least forty or more feet across. Pulling the frightened Alice to his side to protect her, he can feel her shivering at the sight of the bull. The bull turns its head and snorts at him before turning to the east and smashing the corral fence. Turning it into fragments as bull amble out into the pasture to where others cattle are waiting for him. At this point, Jason counted thirty heads. All of them are female longhorns with calves that are about twice the size of a normal longhorn. Each of their horns is long and looks as deadly as the bull. Patting Alice's back to stay, he moves causally around the corral's side to check on Hick's mangle body. Hoping the bull is more enticed by the females than in attacking him. Still, watching the bull move toward the herd, he bends down to touch Hicks.

"Shit, the kids are missing!
Alice stares over Jason's shoulder at the large longhorns in the distance, shaking her head at the beasts hoping her cattle not become that big. Hearing what he said about the children. Thinking for a moment about where the kids may be hiding, she remembers the Hendricks laugh about the kids making a fort out of the hay bales in the barn. Hendrick is one of the few who still bales both the round bale and the small square hay bales. Usually, there are thousands of roll hay behind the barn that he sells in the early summer to make way for new bales. His square bales he stores in the barn to sell to several local goat and sheep farmers in the area.
"The barn! I remember they used to laugh about the kids making a fort and tunnels in the barn using the hay." she stares at Jason. "They may have gone there. That is why the barn is locked up. To keep them from escaping."
"That explains why Hicks said he should have burned the kids up earlier," Jason said as he grabbed her hand lead her toward the barn from around the house. He yelled at Keith inside the house to come out as he went past a window and knocked on it to get his attention.
It didn't take long for them to all gather at the barn. Kimberly leaned on Sheila's arm as she and Keith followed along toward the barn not far behind us. Jason knocks hard on the barn door and waves to Kimberly to say something unlatch to the door.
"Ash! Freddy! Its mama! It's safe to come out now. Hicks and his men are gone! Please, come out for mama. Beatrice, miss you! She yells.
Everyone but Jenny stare at Kimberly.
Alice said. "Beatrice?"
Kimberly laughs as she wipes her eyes from crying. She nods. "It is a safe word I gave the kids long ago to let them know it is safe. If I said gummy bears, they would know it not safe."
The barn door unlatches and moves as it slides open. Ash ran out yelling, "mommy!" Hugging her mom. As Freddy pushes the door open more. And stare at everyone holding a bloody pitchfork in one hand. The boy is about ten. His long blond bangs hang to one side, showing a weary face on his square babyface. Brown eyes staring at everyone with doubts. His sister's clothes are covered in straw from the hay, and some blood is on his pitchfork.
Jason nods to the pitchfork, "you killed something?"
Freddy nods when Ash looks back from hugging her mother. Both were crying. "Freddy! Killed five big, big rats!"
Freddy just nodded. "Got experience, mom, but the system that appears said it will be stored until I reach puberty to get the complete system. It did say it added one to Agility. As he fell into his mom's arms crying.

Jenny spoke up. "Lord, there is a large chest in the barnyard!"
Jason turns and sees a silver chest setting in the yard glowing with a silver light. Walking over with Alicesmiling as she is hugging him, he bends down and opens the chest. Four objects floated out of the chest. A large kingdom orb, Two cards, and a spellbook. More silver light came out and hovers in front of Alice, Frank, Sheila, and Jenny.
Touching the orbs of Hendrick's unused Kingdom orb, he is prompt to destroy or absorb?
Turning to face Kimberly. "The Reward is giving me a choice to either destroy the place or absorb the orb. If I absorb, it will add to my kingdom, which we have a fort at Alice place and make it more powerful. But if I don't absorb or destroy, we can't grow." Fearing Kimberly will be her hateful self he always encounters. He knows that she doesn't like to deal with people since her divorce.
Kimberly looks back at Jason and Alice and then the house where she was tortured and raped. Holding both her kids in her arms. "Take the place I have no urge to return to the house. Just give my children and me a safe place while we can figure out what to do."
"Absorb."
[Kingdom orb is a level three orb absorbing now.]
Grace's voice in his head, 'Do you wish for me to absorb the house and all the building around it?'
'Not yet, Can you put everything in the buildings into a warehouse?'
'Yes, but I will need to build another warehouse outside of the fort in your domain. The cost is 200 KP. And I can use the material of the house and barns. I can claim what left of the burning bunkhouse now.'
Go ahead and claim the bunkhouse. Can I double the domain and claim the land here?'
'Yes, It will cost 5000 KP. Absorbing the level three orb and the other two gave you 50,000 KP.
[Ding! Claiming a kingdom! 10000 KP!]
'I stand corrected. You now have 60,600 KP' Grace said.
'Complete the stuff in Que, and we decide later what to do.' Jason told her. 'will the longhorns become docile if you turn the land in my domain?'
'All beast in the domain will become docile to your kingdom.' she said
