Year 924, Burkton(Flazan)-Wracralan. The sounds of people chattering could be heard, in the busy town of Flazan located in Wracralan's province of Burkton. Men dressed in full armor could also be seen walking around chattering as well, while also being aware of their surroundings. An orange-haired boy in a full white suit and golden shoulder plates is unlike any other normal citizen walking around. With a straight look on his face, he walked through the town of Burkton, with six men in heavier armor than the ones before, by his side as if he was being guarded.
One of them began to address him. "Prince Argo, we should head back to the castle immediately. The king is waiting for your report on the case in Southwold."
"I have a more important matter to tend to right now, I will deal with that later," the prince, Argo replied to the guard with a stern look on his face.
"But sir........", the guard sighed. "Am going to be in big trouble for this, but ok. Just make it quick, sir. The king is waiting to take action before the meeting with King Keith tomorrow, so it has to be today."
"King Keith coming tomorrow? But I thought it was Thursday and tomorrow will be Tuesday."
Argo’s face has a look of confusion due to the misarrangement.
"Sir we are just as confused, but it's not like we can do anything."
His look of confusion is still evident, but he continues now walking hastily to his destination. It has been a while now since Argo is travelling and he was still out tending to the matter he stated earlier.
Meanwhile the king, Hagred was at the castle waiting for Argo to return. He kept tapping his foot against the ground, his patience growing thinner and thinner.
"Where is he? He should be here by now, we need to set the necessary plans into action before tomorrow. Oh crap, I didn't remember to tell the guards to inform him about the meeting being tomorrow. He might be out there thinking that he has all the time in the world. Too much on my mind right now.......I hope they mention it to him."
All these thoughts started to run through the king's head, not being aware that Argo was already privy to this information. Not wanting to take any chances, he called out for his envoy.
"Orden!"
When the Hagred called, his envoy was inside the palace's storeroom facility, ensuring that it was in order. A bunch of glistening minerals, valuable items and history books as well as very important artefacts could be seen, as Orden took them carefully and place them where they should go. The king called once more and this time, his call reached him. He immediately stopped what he was doing and went to answer the call of his ruler. He entered the throne room.
"Yes, my lord. What may I do for you now." Orden bowed in respect to his king, staying in that position as the king began to speak.
"I want you to send a message to the guards that I sent for the prince. Tell them to inform him about the meeting tomorrow."
"Ok, my lord," Orden replied obediently.
Orden then headed towards the exit to the throne room. He went to a small office like room which is left of the passage way after the exit to the throne room, took his bottle of ink from the shelf in the room with his feather pen and he sat down at his table to write the message. After some time, he had finished writing the message that he would later send with a messenger bird. He went to a room that had caged birds inside and he took the fastest traveling bird to send the message as soon as possible given the urgency in Hagred's request. In the meantime, Argo along with the six guards were heading to the woods northwest of Burkton, "The Alluding Forest" which parts Burkton from one of the other provinces of Wracralan called Southwold.
In the forest, there was a small camp of men in heavy armor and one in particular that stands out.
"Mercenary Rozhell, how was the recon mission with your party?", Argo addressed the man that stood out amongst the other soldiers, with a show of respect and salute.
"Sir, I have found out that there are quite a bit of sketchy things happening in the area........we aren't sure, but we saw some suspicious men leading merchants from the left of the 'Yomen Wall' which seems like an unusual route to use, given that the area they are using to travel is infested with thieves and outlaws. This leads me to think that these so called merchants work for someone who holds a personal vendetta for someone in our domain."
"The 'Yomen Wall'? But that place is off limits, is it not? It has history that the 'Grand Court' holds and it's classified. At this rate the court guards might get involved and we could be collateral damage." as Argo say this, he became a bit worried thinking about the situation.

"Prince Argo, do you really think the 'Grand Court' cares?" Rozhell asks rhetorically. "If they did, there would've been court guards stationed there a long time ago. My guess is that the Yomen wall shenanigans was just a bluff and the Grand Court somehow made money from it or some form of benefit."
"Well we cant be too sure about that." Argo said in a low and defeated tone.
"O-Oh...well of course Prince Argo." Rozhell stuttered a bit after using a familiar tone towards the Prince which was of higher stature than him.
Argo also approach the situation awkwardly before giving his final remarks. "W-Well, sir Rozhell, this information was a huge help. I need to head back as the king has summoned me for an important meeting." Argo sighed then left to head back to the castle. He headed off with the soldiers beside him.
Inside one of the castle's bedrooms is a girl, her hair red and long, and her eyes also red. She has a rather petite figure with somewhat of a mature demeanor to her. Her clothing was casual to say the least, as she sat there diligently studying what could be considered a book containing some sort of history. She let out a huge sigh, before reaching for what could be considered as a picture book, which was in her grasp. She opened it, a sad expression crept up on her face while looking at pictures of her and presumably her brother due to the striking resemblance(red hair but shorter and red eyes). She also saw her name 'Myra Bryneiros' and unfortunately, there wasn't a name beside the picture of her brother in question. This picture is a picture of when she was younger. Other pictures she looked at had Argo in them, but for some reason, her face changed suddenly going from sadness to anger, when she saw his picture.
"Why are you still alive!? It's not fair", she raged internally, biting her lip as tears started to fall from her eyes.
She closed the picture book and took a moment to let out all her frustrations through crying. She buried her head on the table she was sitting in front of. It was as if she held great resentment for Argo.
Argo and his guards were traveling back to the castle in a carriage that he sent for in Flazan. Luckily, it arrived before time and the seven of them headed toward the castle, which is approximately 5 hours from where they were.
They entered the carriage, led by two horses along with the the carriage leader. One of the guards started to talk to Argo. "So sir, what exactly is this matter about. The discussion you were having with Mercenary Rozhell, I mean."
"As you know I currently have a bad standing in the kingdom after the incident with my brother 5 years ago. Ever since that day, both my sister and my mother resented me after what happened and now for the last 2 years ever since I got more control over certain affairs relating to the kingdom, I have been trying to find leads on who might've killed my brother that day." Argo crossed his fingers and look down, explaining the situation to his guards. "Next month is the royal trials and that is the day they've been waiting for. The day I will no longer hold the title of prince and potential heir of the kingdom."
"So are you saying that you will be replaced. By who?" the guard on his left asks.
"Well, I don't know for sure but if they pull this off, it can lead to the selection of the betroth being skipped all together since the princess can marry whoever takes my position as prince, given that they wouldn't be related by blood, and to my knowledge they are looking for candidates from The Aipiral Dynasty since we are short on nobles and those of royal blood."
Argo and his assigned guards were still talking, when the messenger bird approached the carriage. The carriage leader took it and passed it on to Argo.
"Hey, Prince Argo! For you!" The caravan driver shouted from where he was.
Argo took the note and saw his father's signature on it and the message that was written. He folded the letter before talking to the caravanner.
"Hey, can you speed up a little", Argo said told him. Without wasting any time or asking any questions, he wiggle the lead with one hard motion signaling for the horses to speed up.
A few minutes later, Argo and his guards were now on the road of Eiban which connects 'Flazan' to 'Deimal' in the province of Burkton. They come across an academy building that lies between both towns. Attendees of the academy would normally come from both towns, and is one of the most prestigious academies in Wracralan. This academy was named after Deimal(Deimal Institution). Deimal is a quieter and less industrious town which receives funding directly from the castle. This town is also known as a place that issues high taxes due to its security and mobility. It is managed by the queen along with a few of the Kingdom's treasurers. This is one of the few privileged towns in the kingdom where mostly the kins of nobles and nobles themselves reside.
After arriving in Deimal, the carriage stopped and Argo and his guards stepped out for a bit, while the carriage leader fed his horses some water to ease their fatigue. Argo and his guards were having a chat, when they heard a commotion in the central area of the town. They rushed over to see what was happening and saw a group of men. Argo froze and his eyes widen in shock and fear as if he had saw something similar in these attackers.
"Th-that emblem......", Argo said in a shaky voice as he started to experience some vague memories of an event he had experienced in the past.
There were around 9 men terrorizing the quiet town of Deimal and Argo and company came to realize that the amount of guards that should be in the area, are nowhere to be seen.
"What is going on......W-where are the guards". Argo began to look around and saw some of the guards flat on the ground and it was evident that they were dead, due to their severed body parts. When Argo saw this, a look of intense fear was on his face. As he was slowly stepping back from the danger that was ahead, more guards began to come along. The attackers saw that they were going to be outnumbered and escaped through the route, that was heading towards the other town after Deimal.
"That emblem......those men......." Argo slowly said in a voice filled with fear.
"Sir.......are you ok sir?" one of the guards started to check on him.
"Y-yes. We should go now. Is the carriage leader ready?" Argo's voice still had traces of fear in it as he speak.
"I think so, but are you sure we shouldn't check on the townspeople first? I mean they must be suffering from the shock of this."
"No need, am sure that this will be dealt with. What we should do is get out of here and make that report to the king immediately."
They all went to the carriage and entered it, before slowly moving off to head to the cast. The townspeople watched as they pass by and was chattering amongst themselves.
