MAGIC SYSTEM
Let’s say that out of 100% of the world population. 5% would be able to use magic.
Now we take them as our new 100% and from this 100%, maybe 40% is able to use magic (because they are able to learn it).
Now let’s take these 40% (yet again) as our new 100%. When we divide these 100% further 95% of them take their mana (term used to describe magic energy) from the surroundings and channel it into weapons or their bodies (can´t be stored) to strengthen it further and give them a boost during fighting. The other 5% a have a limited mana pool form birth on and can cast spells with their internal mana. But the spell size is equivalent to their mana pool.
Elements used are:
* Water
* Lighting
* Fire
* Earth
* Wind
* Light
* Shadow
Not included are the unique/special magics available.
There are no ranking stages. There are only titles that some characters have. But they don´t represent their actual strength.
* Like Swordsaint
* Or mage
Divine Energy is the weaker form of Life energy and is its own Kind of energy. (Original Mana)
Undead Energy (used by necromancers) is a weaker form of Death energy and is the same energy type than life. (Original magic)
Mage/Wizard
Wizards/Mages are rare
Oldest age reached => 1000 years
The spell is casted with a staff that has a crystal in it. It strengthens the spell and shoots it at the target.
The mightier the spell the longer the casting/chanting time.
When a Wizard is trying to cast a spell that needs more mana than is in his mana pool, he dies 99% of the times. Only the very skilled are able to replace this mana with natural mana that surrounds them.

Simplified magic system of the mage:
The heart:
The heart is the most important. Because it contains the mana pool. Here the mana is gathered and sent to the head.
The head:
The head concentrates the mana and chants the spell (without saying the words). Better control is achieved with the mouth through chanting/casting (saying the words).
The limbs: (arms, legs)
Can be used as an art of wand or cable where the mana flows through to the staff. It also stabilizes the about to unleashed magic.
Alchemist
Are rare but not as rare as mages.
Oldest age reached => 1500 years
They use drawings to cast their spells and they use external/natural mana.
They are also known for potion making.
To draw their spells, they often use magicpens that concentrate the mana, but also their fingers can be used and other items can be added to further enhance the spell.
The power lies in the drawings and every alchemist has his own style of drawing.
No real magic system because they need items (further explanation in the story)
Energy Warrior
They make up the most magic users.
Oldest age recorded => 1200
External mana users.
They use the mana with special attributes to enhance their strength or enchant their weapons.
Masters of external/natural mana can create a mana field which enhance their perception and block arrows.
The mana field also adds other more interesting abilities which come late in the story.
Magic system of the warrior:
External mana is sucked in the heart and concentrated. Then it flows into muscles or swords and enchants them.
- boost in strength
- weapons get sharper
- water slash (creates water in form of a halfmoon and throws it at the enemy. It is very sharp.)
Divine Magician and necromancers use the same magic system.
Even rarer than magic users
Can be excellent warriors with strength, summoners, or priests that bless the land (I think you know what will happen when something is blessed with something good or bad)
Various specializations of them.
Magic System:
Divine energy for example is gathered in the brain and can be used to chant, enhance, or bless.
A blessing has its own unique feature that sets it apart with spells.
Potions are also its own thing that will be mentioned in the story.
For the beginnig this is what you need to know!
