Located deep within the foggy dew of Willamette Valley, around the curvaceous press of deep cut gullies and rocky mountain peaks, Entropy is a picturesque escape from modern life that you didn't know that you needed!
Come visit us and experience history! The story of our town begins with its founding in 1841 by the Billows family, originally as “Billowsburg,” when Their family heirloom upright piano fell from the lead covered wagon.
The family's pet squirrel Joe lost its life under that piano, and the youngest grandson, Billy Billows, demanded a full funeral remembering his sacrifice.
The funeral included military honors and a full twenty one gun salute. With only three muzzle-loading muskets and soggy gunpowder, the funeral took so long and was so tiring that the family decided to halt their travel westword and found this city.
Visit "Piano Gully", the first paved road of our town, and see a bronze replica of that very same piano!
Our town motto is taken from the impassioned speech that the family patriarch Henry Hayward Billows made to persuade the family to stay!
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
“We's good 'nuff, we's tough 'nuff and we don't needs to prove nothin' to nobody nohows!”
