The next morning the ladies gathered in their dining room in their new outfits. Fairy Bai was wearing a red cheongsam with a gold circle with a red stripe. Zi Chyou was also wearing the Cheongsam with the red stripe. Tutor Chen was wearing the robe with the red stripe. Trampas came out a moment later wearing a Tang Suit that had been altered. He had pulled the sleeves off and on the back had them embroider a couple of blue stripes with white stars on them in the shape of an X.
"Tea Dubuya, what does that symbol mean?" Tutor Chen wondered.
"Freedom, rebellion, kicking ass, and taking names!" He smiled, "Back Home, a buncha folks call it racist, or some shit, but as a good country boy from the south, this here represents giving the finger to that bunch of Northern Yankees and them cancel culture bastards on the fake news!"
The ladies looked confused as they tried to see if any of them made sense of it. "Is this something you would like us to wear as well, Tea Dubuya?" Fairy Bai reluctantly asked.
Trampas looked at his ladies and thought for a moment, "Aw, hell, ain't that a peach of an idea! Yeah, y'all can wear the stars and bars too. That way they know you are my people."
The ladies went to the embroidery shop and had the alterations made to their clothes. Two days later more and more young clan members could be seen wearing the stars and bars. Everyone wanted a connection to the Blood Sword sect and seeing that Trampas and his girls wore the stars and bars they all thought they should too. As if joining Trampas's movement. All of the female Red Runner Clan members began to imitate Fairy Bair, Zi Chyou, and Tutor Chen in the same way. The Sleeveless Tang Suit with the stars and bars on the back soon became almost the standard outfit for male Red Runner Clan members.
The time came for the sect's core disciple ranking tournament. The Elders insisted that Trampas and his wives had no need to participate in the tournament but Trampas insisted and he said a man doesn't back away from a challenge. The elders half-heartedly agreed but the problem was that Trampas and his wives had already cultivated to the level of the elders. They were guaranteed to be in the top four in the tournament.
When the time came for Trampas to face his first opponent he stepped up on the fighting platform and the young man he faced bowed and gave him a cupped fist salute, "Master Tea Dubuya, I am not your opponent. I admit defeat!"
This would become the pattern whenever it was either Trampas or one of his wives taking the stage. Like that it came down to the last four. Trampas took the stage against Fairy Bai and Zi Chyou took the stage against Tutor Chen.
Trampas found himself in a dilemma, he needed to win the tournament but only a bad guy would hit his own woman. Fairy Bai didn't make him fight and just admitted her defeat and walked down from the platform. Zi Chyou and Tutor Chen however did fight and fought hard!
Zi Chyou grabbed Tutor Chen by the hair and drove her head hard into the ground. Tutor Chen didn't just let it end like that and picked Zi Chyou up and gave her a powerful piledriver into the ground in return. The ladies fought back and forth until Tutor Chen managed to land a heavy right-handed five knuckle shuffle right into Zi Chyou's face knocking her out and giving taking a spot in the finals against Trampas.
Tutor Chen decided to fight against Trampas in the finals. "I don't care what Yin Yin did, I want to fight. I don't believe you are invincible just because you have higher cultivation than me, Tea Dubuya. Besides you are the one who told me to never back down from a challenge."

Trampas frowned and then explained to her, "My mother said you don't hit a lady, but I have to win this tournament Chen'er. If I come in second, I'll be dead."
"You're exaggerating now." She sighed and looked away, "I don't care about this mission the System sect gave you. You belong to the Blood Sword sect now anyway, this System sect is like an ant to them."
Trampas shook his head and then looking at her with a serious face said, "If you choose to fight me, I won't go easy on you. This is life or death for me. I am just warning you so you can make the right decision." Trampas then thought to himself, 'System, my missions are conflicting each other. If I defeat Tutor Chen she might not be willing to teach me to complete the first mission you gave me. Or if I back out of this fight I'll fail the second mission you gave me. Help me!'
The time came for the match to start and Trampas reluctantly took the stage. On the other side Tutor Chen walked up and then sighed hard. She looked over at Trampas who had a look on his face like he had eaten a piece of crap and then stomped a foot on the ground and said, "Fine, have it your way. I admit defeat!"

Fairy Bai and Zi Chyou clapped their hands and a great cheer rose from the crowd. Even though Trampas had never once fought in the tournament no one dared to say they could have beat him. Two men in red robes with black circles showing three red stripes on their chests spoke to the Patriarch of the Red Runner Clan and asked, "Are they the geniuses you wrote about?"
The Patriarch nodded and said, "The three girls are at the Foundation Building 8th layer. The boy is at the 9th layer. We have only known them a week, but in that time they have advanced from the Qi Refining realm with no hint of any kind of slowdown or trouble of any kind."
The two men from the Blood Sword sect gasped, "This might be a divine ranked cultivation technique! Who did you say was this brat's backer?"
"The System sect, his teacher was a man by the name of Tea Di." The Patriarch explained.
One of the two men suddenly went pale and asked his associate, "Elder Li, do you think this boy met that loose cultivator Di Ti? If he used an assumed name... It may be the same man!"
The two men from the Blood Sword sect nodded and then Elder Li spoke, "That would explain their unorthodox fighting style and rapid cultivation. If that man is involved then these children have received a gift from the gods. Even our Blood Sword sect may not be able to contain them for long. Patriarch Long, you did well to elevate them to Blood Sword sect members. Rather than outer sect disciples, I feel our circle of Elders will have them elevated to inner or even core disciples."
The other Blood Sword sect elder smiled at Patriarch Long and said, "You have earned an outstanding merit this time, your Red Runner Clan will be rewarded heavily!" He reached into his robe and pulled out a scroll, "This is the next level cultivation technique that is given to our outer disciples. It is capable of taking your disciples to the Core Formation realm!"
Patriarch Long smiled from ear to ear and bowed to the two men, "Thank you, Elders, for raising my humble Red Runner Clan to tier 2!"
The two Elders returned his salute and Elder Li said, "This is all we can do for you at this moment, I expect you'll receive much more once the circle of Elders meets over this issue. If they fail to give you a proper reward, I'll send you something from my reserves at the very least."
Patriarch Long smiled and then said, "Well, let me introduce you to them. We'll also pack their belongings for the trip." The Patriarch clapped his hands for an attendant and then after a brief description of what he needed they headed off.
The Patriarch and the Blood Sword sect elders walked down to the fighting platform where Trampas and his wives were standing. Zi Chyou was covered in bandages and Tutor Chen had a couple as well. The Patriarch walked up and slapped Trampas on the back in a friendly show and asked, "Tea Dubuya, ladies, you did incredibly well. I'd like you to meet Elder Li and Elder Song from the Blood Sword sect. They are here to guide you to the main sect where you'll be living for the time being."
Elder Li spoke out and said, "That's right, we'll be going to the main sect which is in the Capital, Xia."
The ladies suddenly looked at each other as their faces lit up in joy.
