It was a warm day. The wind was blowing and the birds were singing, you could say it was the perfect time to lay down in the grass all day, I would agree too but unfortunately I couldn't do such a thing, Why? To put it simply, I was wanted, Wanted for accused murder. Of course I didn't do it but there was no way to prove it since I was the only survivor left of my group.
The only things I could rely on now are my Rusty Iron Sword and my Small Rounded Shield. Actually, I shouldn't even be here now, I should be dead along with my group, I guess I have that thing to thank for. Whatever it might be.

12th of March Unknown Year
"Isn't it a beautiful day, Jacob?"
"Haha, it sure is, Melina, I would lay down in the grass if I could but I need to finish up my orders for the day."
"Then I'll leave you to your forge, It's time that I go wake up Yorozu, make sure to come home before lunch, Dear."
"I'll try!"
Sounds like curtains are being open.
"Gah"
All of a sudden a burst of light comes shining on my face, waking me up from my what would be wonderful sleep.
"Good morning, Yorozu."
"Yawn, Good morning, Mom."
This is Melina Yamigirei, my Mother, I'm not exactly a professional at describing people but if I had to describe my Mother it would be something like this: A women in her 30's, Lush long brown hair, Brown eyes and a gentle smile that a caring Mother would have.
"Your Father is working on the few orders he has left, why don't you go out and help him out?"
"Sure, it's not like I had a choice in the matter anyways."
"Yep, Now hurry up and get ready."
My Mom leaves my room while I just sit on the left side of my bed trying to recover most of my conscience that was abruptly awoken.
My room was a fairly simple room, a drawer to keep my clothes in, a Rusty Iron Sword and a Small Rounded Shield hunged up on the wall with a mirror under them, a small table next to my bed with a burnt out candle on top of it, and a door from the opposite side of my bed.
"Let's get started I guess."
I stood up, Let out a yawn and stretched my arms as hard as I could. I Went to my drawer, opened it and got some clothes and changed into them, then I walked up to the mirror and stared at myself for what would be about 3 minutes.
In the mirror I saw myself, Yorozu Yamigirei, A 16 year old teen, wearing white rags, Dark Green hair that would partially cover his ears, Dark Green colored eyes that most people would describe as cold, and to top it off an expressionless smile.
I left the room and entered the kitchen, grabbed a cup and went up to a big bucket that was far back in the room, the bucket was filled with water.
I scooped up the water with the cup and drank it down, it was warm but what would you expect when there's no snow in March to keep the water cold. I placed the cup back and looked to the self that was beside the bucket, there was a couple of cooking books but there was also a Metal Canteen with a leather strap. I grabbed the canteen and placed the strap on my shoulder, I left the kitchen shortly after.
I left the house and was greeted by a warm sun and a nice breeze, I also was greeted by of a couple of people near my age.
"Hey Yorozu!"
The first person was Rel.
Rel had red spiky hair that pointed up, Dark red eyes that what most people would describe as cool, and a grin that would make you think he's too self centered.
"Wanna go catch fish?"
The second person was Jin.
Jin had curly blonde hair with light blue eyes and a warm smile that for some reason, nearly every girl would fall for.
"We have our fishing poles ready."
The last person was Renshi.
Renshi had jet black cowlick hair, His eyes were dark brown and people would describe as empty, he doesn't show much expressions.
But if it was one thing they all had in common was, that they know how to use weapons better than I can, Rel uses a spear, Jin uses a two-handed sword, Renshi uses dual-daggers, and me, I use a sword and shield but I wasn't too good at it, My Rusty Iron Sword and Small Rounded Shield can vouch for that.
"I can't right now, I need to go help my Dad with his weapon orders"
"It's fine, If you get time we'll be by the waterfall."
I nodded and waved goodbye to them.
I entered the workshop and the doorbells rang.
"Dad I'm here!"
"Good, I need you to deliver this."
What!? I just got here and now he's already kicking me out. My Father was in his 30's, he had green hair and eyes, and a scruffy beard, if you would touch it, it would feel as if you're touched a bunch of small prickly hair.
"To who?"
"Give this Spear to Mr.Fukisaki."
Mr.Fukisaki, That's Rel's Father.
"Sure, I'll get to it right away."
I left the workshop with the spear in my right hand.
While I was on my way to the Fukisaki house, I noticed a flower, It was like a rose but it wasn't red, it was white and the stem was purple, it was a weird sight but I left it be and continued on my way.
I knocked on the door and shortly soon after, it opened.
"Hello? Ah, Yorozu, what brings you here?"
It was Mr.Fukisaki who answered the door, he looks to be about in his early 40's, He's bald but you can see the red color in his eyebrows, He has a stern face which shows how serious this man is, I definitely won't wanna spar with him.
"I brought the Spear that you ordered."
"Ah! Thank you for bringing it here, Can I ask for a favor?"
"Sure."
"Rel forgot his bait for the fish, can you bring it to him?"
I wanted to say no because I'm not a messenger. I had to do bring the Spear because I had to, but I can't say no to Fukisaki, after all he is the most experienced fighter in this village.
"Sure, it'll be no problem."
"Thank you, wait here for a moment, I'll get the bait."
Fukisaki goes back in leaving the door open, There wasn't much to see other than the hall which had an impressive rack of Spear weapons lined up, with what I saw with my inexperience eye was that it was lined up accordingly to most valuable metal to least. Fukisaki returned.
"Here you go, also take this."
"What is it?"
"It's a Dagger made from a ore called 'Schremite', since we don't use daggers in this family, I thought it would be better to pass it on to you."
It's a bit weird for me to use Daggers but I can see why he picked me and not Renshi, Rel's and Renshi's Fathers have gotten into a fight about the importance of a weapon's range, and since Daggers and Spears have drastically different ranges, it did not go so well.

"Thank you! I'll treat it with good care."
"No, Thank you for bringing the spear and delivering the bait, have a safe trip!."
I waved Fukisaki goodbye as I left to deliver the bait to Rel. I thought it would be better to leave the dagger at home so I went there first.
On my way back I looked at the weird rose again but this time it wasn't white and purple, it was yellow and green it was really confusing on how it changed colors but I didn't have time to examine it now.
I entered my room and opened up my drawer.
"It should be safe in here at least."
I didn't even see the dagger beyond the dark blue scabbard, so I unsheathed the dagger. It was a snow white dagger that reflected the sun coming in from the window beautifully, I haven't seen material like that before.
With the marvelous sight I saw, I put the dagger back into the scabbard and placed it inside my drawer. I exited my room and headed my way to deliver the bait to the red haired Rel.
"Hey look! It's Yorozu"
Renshi and Rel turn their heads to look at me, Jin seems to be holding a bucket full of fish, the fish inside weren't anything spectacular, it was just salmon.
"You caught a lot of fish already, that's impressive."
"We would had caught more if it weren't for Rel forgetting his bait."
"Hey! I was rushed! Give me a break!"
I hold the bag of bait in air and wave it around in front of Rel.
"Hey! Is that my bait?"
I quietly gave the bag to Rel, Rel's smile turn into a grin as if he just got the weapon to dominate the world.
"Gahaha! Thanks Yorozu! With this I can finally catch of all the fish in this stream."
"Not even with all of our bait combined we would be able to catch that many."
"Don't ruin my celebration Jin, you underestimate the power of the Fukisaki bait!"
Rel was always proud of his family's bait, no one really knows what it was made out of.
"What's so special about the bait?"
"Sorry Yorozu! It's a Fukisaki secret! Heheheheh."
"Alright then."
I said that as I had the most doubtful expression on my face. What makes his bait so special? I don't think I'll ever find out.
"So you're ready to fish, Yorozu?"
"Sorry I can't, I need to finish up a few more deliveries. I'll catch up later."
"Alright, See ya later."
Before I left I went up to the waterfall and filled up the Metal Canteen.
I left as I waved those three good-bye and I headed back to the workshop.
The door bells rang as I entered the workshop again.
"Dad! Are there anymore deliveries?
"You were late, in fact so late that the customers came here and picked up their weapons."
What I only stopped to see the rose and leave the dagger at home, it couldn't take that long, but I'll take it if it means I don't have to do anymore work.
"So I'm done for the day?"
"Apparently so."
"Alright! I'll be off now."
"Stay safe."
I left the shop as fast as I could and ran back to the waterfall.
"Hey guys! I'm free now."
All three turned back and waved.
"Well too late, Yorozu, Rel already used up all of the bait."
"Hey the bait is amazing! It took half the time to catch the fish."
"Well the bucket IS full, so I guess we're done with fishing."
I couldn't even fish, the bait was used up so quick, was the Fukisaki bait really that good?
"Well, I've been waiting until all four of us had time so I can show this."
Renshi took out a map out of his pocket.
"What is it?"
"It's a map to a cave, inside the cave is said to be a very valuable Sword, crafted some long time ago or something like that."
"So we get the sword and sell it for high profit? Gahahaha, Fantastic idea."
"I have no idea what's inside the cave so it's best if we all get prepared to fight tomorrow."
And so we all agreed with Renshi to meet here at night tomorrow. We all went our separate ways to get prepared for tomorrow.
I needed protection, so I went to the armor shop.
Two sets of door bells rang as I entered the shop.
"Welcome! Hello, Yorozu."
"Hello Mr.Gorensu"
Gorensu is Jin's father, His hair is natural short blond hair, He's a happy go lucky man. Gorensu has an expression that shows how carefree he is about the world. You can't see his eyes since he's always smiling, but I think it's blue.
"Need anything?"
"Yes, I need a specific kind of armor personally made."
"Hahaha alright Yorozu, what do you want this to be?"
I told Gorensu what I wanted in detail but I also made sure that it would be affordable.
"Okay, This will get done tomorrow at about 5 PM."
"Thank you Mr.Gorensu."
The armor costed about 100 Silver Coins, luckily, I had just enough.
"No, it was pleasure doing business with you, please come back again."
I left the shop while waving at Gorensu.
It was 8 PM so it was getting dark, but I headed to check out the rose.
The rose changed colors again, the yellow and green rose turned into a blue and gray rose. I still couldn't understand what was the point of the flower, but it did look nice. So I left it and went home.
"I'm Home!"
I went into the kitchen hoping there would be something ready to eat, and sure enough, my Mother cooking and my Father was sitting.
"Welcome back, take a seat, we were about to eat."
I happily took a seat and waited for the food to get prepared.
"How did the fishing go?"
"Huh? Dad, How did you know that I went fishing?"
"Jin stopped by to leave some fish for us."
"So we're eating fish then?"
"Yup but you didn't catch any fish, didn't you?"
"I couldn't because I had to help you out with your orders and Rel used up all of the bait."
He laughed then said "Probably next time."
"Food's ready!"
My Mother brought the fish and boiled vegetables, The fish was roasted on a split over an open fire, obviously the fish was cooked outside of the house, the vegetables were: Boiled Carrots, Boiled Radishes and Boiled Cabbage. It wasn't bad but I would have preferred rabbit.
We said our thanks and ate the food, shortly after we've finished and I headed into my room to sleep.
The room was dark but I could still see thanks to the moonlight, I changed and went off to bed excited for the adventure tomorrow.
