Crack!!

A flash of light tear through the cloud illuminated the night sky followed by a loud cracking sound of thunder.

A man of a large build covered in a black cloak ran inside a cave in a hurry and ask the man standing at the entrance "Is it ready?" As he remove his cloak from his head.

The man nodded in agreement "I think so"

"And where is he?" He questions the cloaked man

He is still out in the forest keeping eyes on the surroundings.

Good!!

"Hey, do you think it will work," the cloaked man asked again.

"It has to!!" The man paused but gave an answer in a low tone "It has to work this time because we don't have any other choice"

"Look" he pointed his index finger at the end of the cave.

The man shifted his gaze away from the man standing beside him to the center of the cave where almost a hundred people covered their faces in white cloth and were moving forward in straight lines.

"Let's go we don't have much time to waste," he said.

Hmm!! The cloaked man agreed with a low voice and followed him.

The two men walked in the cave which was dimly illuminated by the flickering light of a fire torch, casting wavy shadows on the walls.

Walking deeper and deeper into the cave the pathway became wider and wider gradually. And became a very large space the ground which was rougher and uneven completely made of soil faded into the stone floor.

In the center of the cave stands a towering tree, its roots seemingly stretching not only deep into the earth below but also to the ground, like spider webs and there were four stone pillars surrounding the tree.

And Between the roots, there was a large mysterious structure covered with its roots. The trunk of the tree is thick and gnarled, Its branches stretch outwards as if reaching towards the broken ceiling high above. Through the opening of the ceiling, a cloudy sky can be seen. Light from the thunder illuminated the tree and casted a hazy glow across the space.

Soon the group of almost a hundred people each one draping in a white cloak formed 10 circles around the tree with each circle containing almost 10 people.

And one of them walked towards them and told the man "We have prepared everything as you have told and we are ready whenever you gave your permission".

Father!! A young boy called out to the man. "I have done as I was told and scouted the area with Elsa."

"Good, with this everything thing is ready you guys wait here" The man walked straight to the center of the circle near the towering tree and the person covered in a white cloak walked behind him and took his place at the circle formed by the group of white cloak people.

Everyone straighten their right hand while their palm was facing the tree more preciously the round structure covered in roots, while their other hand was holding something.

"We have put everything we have. We can't afford to fail, so please Heaven bless us with your blessings."

With that, the man clapped his hand and started to chant hearing his chants the group that was surrounding the tree poured their mana into their palm, and soon the blue light started to gather around them. A big circle formed beneath the group and the tree.

The man raised his hand while chanting and formed a small magic circle and the blue light that was surroundings them went towards the man and he redirected that light to the magic circle above the tree.

The small magic circle kept absorbing the blue light which was being poured by all of the people around it. Soon It's size started to grow and kept on increasing until it covered the broken ceiling above the tree and then everything went dark.

The blue light which illuminated the whole cave was gone as well as the circles.

Noises of people chattering fill the cavern. People turned around and looked at each other to figure out what just happened.

Crack!!

With a thundering sound, the circle above the towering tree appear once again and a beam of majestic blue light fell on it, Making the tree look godly. everyone who saw it was in awe as if heaven have given them his blessings.

The blue light from the circle went to tree leaves to its trunk to its roots and from its roots, it was absorbed by the round structure which was covered by roots.

The structure glows in a flickering manner like heartbeats. And then it stopped as if nothing ever happen.

Once again the cave induge in darkness and silence sept trough the cavern the only sound that could be heard was pouring rain and cracking thunder.

Rumble!!

Rain poured down and water droplets break into small droplets after hitting the ground. Making a hazy layer above the ground.

Splash!! A palm hit the road covered in rainy water

"Stop!! Where are you going" with a bearly hearable voice a boy said.

"My eyes it's getting heavy and it's getting harder and harder to breathe."

"And my vision is getting blurred."

Stop!! He put all his might to raise his head above the ground and extended his hand forward as if trying to grab something.

"Were do you think you're going after what you have done"

As he struggled to stay conscious, his anger boiled over. he yelled

"I am going to kill you, you hear me? I am going to kill you all" he emphasized his words.

"I promise that I will kill you all!!"

Promising to kill whoever was responsible for his suffering. But as darkness overtook his vision, his voice faded away into the rain.
