My Next Project

Hello Friends! I would like some help choosing my next project. Below are three blurbs for novels I haven't written yet. Which one would you most like to read?

Sodium Hammer: A LitRPG Deckbuilder

Would you jump through a portal if you didn’t know what was on the other side?

James has been planning on jumping through a portal to a fantasy world for years, ever since his brother went through. A voice on the other side of the portal promised magic, stats, and leveling up. No one has ever returned, so going through is a leap of faith. The time has finally come, and he and his friends jump through it together.

What he finds is an alien world unlike anything he expected. There are no elves or dwarves, only four-armed lunuk and big-headed paj. Instead of the strength and dexterity stats they were expecting, they got the option to increase their paranoia and flow. He also has a sneaking suspicion this new world is inside a dyson sphere.

The good news is that everyone gets a magic card, just as promised. James’ card is the weakest of the bunch, but he’s always been creative. He is confident he can figure out a way to use it well. Which is good, because his life literally depends on it.

Drafted: Proxy War: A LitRPG Science Fantasy

When Peter finds himself on a strange planet, drafted into a war by alien abductors, his only goal is to be one of the few to survive the war and return home to Earth.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

Peter is one of thousands who get abducted every year, as payment to the aliens. The aliens have given humans portal travel, healing serums, and other advanced alien technology. The quality of life has improved, but everything has a price.

Along with a group of strangers Peter is trained for war by going up against literal monsters. The troll-like aliens won’t give them modern weapons. Humans have to battle monsters with swords and shields, and that is just to get out of boot camp.

His only chance to survive is to use the alien device he is given. The device can increase his strength and speed to superhuman levels. It can even grant him powers that seem like magic. Complicating things is that the device's interface is written in an ever-changing alien language. He will have to figure out its secrets if he wants to keep himself and his team alive.

9 to 5 Monster Hunter

Mark starts off the apocalypse by losing his job to an alien. He decides to get them back by trying to take one of their jobs. It isn’t easy.

Aliens have come to Earth and upended the economy with their cheap fusion and ubiquitous portals. The governments are calling it an adjustment phase. Mark knows that’s bullshit and does what he can to get off world. He is only partially successful.

He gets a day job portalling over to alien worlds and killing local pests. Ten feet tall pests. They give him an exosuit and technology to get the job done. All alien technology runs on something called mana, but they claim it isn’t magic. Being able to throw fireballs feels like magic to Mark, but what does he know?

All he cares about is getting the job done and getting home to his wife and daughter every night. Things get a little complicated when he discovers he can throw lightning around even without the alien tech. His new bosses are very concerned about this development, but Mark is confident he can figure things out before he dies of mana poisoning.
