For more years than anyone can count, Vampires and Humans have been at war, the powerful weapons of old have been lost to humanity, and they once again fight with sword and shield. Every time they clash, humanity puts up a valiant effort, but kingdom after kingdom fall to the Vampiric hordes. In the latest battle for their survival, a group of human 'heroes' are taken prisoner by the great vampire lord Cezar von Imrik to present to his unholy liege Hellreid. Amongst the vampires great army, the heroes happen to meet an unusual Ghoul. Not only can he talk fluently, he also seems to insubordinate towards his master! Could this be an indication of the vampires power weakening? Could it be a prophesy of things to come? Could this be, the last hope for mankind?! No, no it isn't.
