Just a Dream?
Just a dream?

Just a dream?

A man in his late fortys that lived in a simple house that looked rather unclean and messy, which didn't seem to bother him, was working on a project for months, and oh what a project it is.

İt was his dream for years to make a game that people would love, play with other players all around the world, making new friends and explore the near infinite open world. A wild dream some might say but he was determined to actually make it hapen.

He asked some of his old friens from school that he is still in contact with, to teach him coding. He learned coding quite fast actually even his friends were quite jealous. They studied coding for years after all.

Even if he did know what to do or how to do it he couldn't posibly finish the project. Even if he tried to get some help from other game creators they all rejected and told him to give up. He probably should have just listened to them.

After all he was basically trying to create a new universe. Well not as nearly big as our own ofcourse but still with hundreds of solar system that had around a few thousand planets.

With overlapping dimensions of vast varieties some filled with such life while some filled with pure destruction and utter chaos.

İt was a universe of mana and aether also other energies that simply bend the understanding of reality.

Numerous classes that it would be hard to even find something that one cant do.

So yes, yes it was an absurd goal to finish the game. Even if he SOMEHOW finished the game no existing computer could handle something like that.

He did know that he couldn't finish even one percent of the game untill his last breath. He had planned everything in his head every little detail of the game. So he decided to open a blog and share his plans and his dream of being a game creator.

Surprisingly the blog seem to have caught a lot of peoples attention. Some saying that he was a little naive to try and create such a game with little to no experiance while some of them actually thinking if the game would be possible to make at all.

He did after all get some people talking about the game he had in mind. Well not the way he wanted ofcourse but thats something too... right?

After months of chasing a dream that was not possible for him... he gave up, he was finally free. He had a chance to actually look around himself, his room was a mess (even worse than how it normally is) there was a smell of dampness in the air. Well his room had only one window so dont expect a good air circulation i suppose.

"I really should get my life together huh? I cant go on like thi-"

As he was getting up from his chair he felt a sharp headache his head felt like it was going to explode. He fell right back to his chair. His hearth was beating so fast he could practically hear it.

He tried to scream.

İt was futile

He tried to crawl while clenching his chest, a sharp pain had hit him right in his hearth. He knew he was breathing his last few breaths.

he didnt have anyone that would grieve after him, he knew he was so dumb chasing after a imposible dream and wearing himself out to such degrees. He could just took his time or never started such a thing in the first place.

After months of consistent coding and barely eating anything other than fast food it was only a matter of time his alredy weak hearth would gave up

Only thing he could think of was the game he was working on for months untill the end.

'such a weird guy...'

He could swear he heard something. Dizziness was overwhelming now he lost all his senses, couldn't hear, couldn't see, couldn't feel anything

Untill he breathed no more.
