Chapter 4

As the night grew darker, the members of the gathering of the damned began to share their newfound relics. Lily showed Ken the book she had acquired on necromancy, explaining how it had opened up a whole new world of power and possibility for her. Elijah and Marcus showed off their shield and sword of darkness, respectively, and Jackson proudly displayed his cape of darkness explaining how the cape allows him to blend with the darkness and also create rope-like things which bind people and allows him to capture people easily.

Sarah produced a book similar to Ken's, explaining how it allowed them to harness the power of the darkness for a range of spells and rituals. As they shared their relics and discussed their newfound power, Ken felt a sense of excitement and anticipation growing within him. Ken also asked her to help him use the book and she gladly agreed, saying that it was her pleasure to help a family member Ken felt very happy to hear these words as felt more connected to Sarah than anyone else in the group.

Ken asked Sarah where they were going and Elijah explained that they were going to the City of Azathoth. Ken was obviously new to all this and did not understand the significance of the place and so he expressed his doubts to the group.

It was then that Lilly began to explain the significance of the City of Azathoth. According to legend, the city was home to a powerful gate that had been sealed long ago by the Nephilim, a race of powerful beings with the ability to control the elements.

The gate was said to hold unimaginable power, and the gathering of the damned had long sought to unlock its secrets. Lily explained that they would need to journey to the city, facing all manner of obstacles and dangers along the way.

As the group discussed their plan, Ken felt a sense of trepidation growing within him. He had always been drawn to the darkness, but the idea of facing such incredible power and danger was almost overwhelming.

But as he looked around at his fellow believers, he knew that he could not let them down. They had become his family, his purpose, and he was determined to see the journey through to the end.

And so, as the night wore on and the fire burned low, the members of the gathering of the damned made plans to journey to the City of Azathoth. They would face unimaginable danger, but they knew that together, they were unstoppable. They would unlock the gate and harness its power, changing the world forever.

Their journey was long and treacherous, taking them through dark and dangerous forests, across raging rivers, and over treacherous mountains. But they pressed on, driven by their shared obsession with the darkness and their desire to unlock the gate of Nephilim.

Finally, after weeks of travel, they arrived at the City of Azathoth. It was a sprawling metropolis, filled with towering buildings and winding streets that seemed to go on forever. The air was thick with the scent of smoke and decay, and the sky was perpetually shrouded in darkness.

As they made their way through the city, they encountered all manner of strange and terrifying creatures. There were ghouls and demons, vampires, and werewolves, all of them drawn to the power of the darkness that the group carried within them.

But despite the dangers surrounding them, the group pressed on, guided by the whispers of the darkness that seemed to fill the air around them. They searched for the gate of Nephilim, determined to unlock its power and harness it for their own purposes.
