Prolouge; Chapter 0

Tarou: “I'm ready.”

I finally finished all my preparations. Struggling for 5 years to reach this point. Just because of a chance, a slim chance that it is true. This one truth that I found was described in a single tattered old book. The title wasn't readable anymore, many pages were missing at the beginning. But I managed to restore these with modern technologies and gruesomely playing a puzzle game for 4 years. Free time? There was none, so i couldn't even have a relationship with a woman for a longer time. I was on the verge of tearing the book apart and erasing all my findings. But just 5 months ago, I finally did it. Restoring the book was done. The way to travel to another world was opened before me. It wasn't a fantasy like explanation. Pure mathematical equations were shown on these old pages. Leading to a complex instruction, when decoded in a certain muster. I managed to create a small crystal of red color.

A philosopher stone.

Does it work? Yes. Let me explain what it can do. Simply said, it will exchange a part of the energy that is stored in it. To gain an equal amount of something else. Just holding it in my hand, envisioning gold, the desired would appear. I tested it's usability:

Transportation

Transmutation

Creation

Absorption

The more complex, the more energy was used up. So as long as enough energy was in the little red stone, it's power was mind boggling.

What is that energy?

Lives?

Chemical Substances?

Blood?

NO! It was simply energy in form of an electric current! My bill for electricity skyrocketed when I fed the stone. I never stopped supplying it food for 1 month. A staggering bill of over 10000 euro was accumulated and then paid with gold that was converted from the philosopher stone. I grinned madly when I managed to calculate how much energy cost would created 1 kg of pure gold.

About 25~31 Euro investment, would net me an income of roughly 900 Euro. You don't need to be a mathematically genius to see, that I could simply multiply my funds in a flash. I did all I could, feed it all the energy I could afford. In the end I'm nearly penniless now. All the money I made through creating gold, was now stuck inside the philosopher stone (Except paying of my apartment and leaving 100k euro on my bank account. I like it save.). It's size was unchanged, but it's glimmer was more radiant then ever.

Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.

I couldn't just mindlessly saturated the gold market, so creating diamonds and other things was used too. In the end a bill of 6,4 million was now stuck to that little red crystal. How could I get so much energy to it? I bought a old industrial complex and paid a heavy amount to construct some makeshift cable works.

Haha, I even was responsible for a blackout of 2 hours once. That fine was heavy …. Truly I am sad …. I didn't manage to use natural electricity …. But now isn't the time to complain. I am standing here with a backpack filled with survival equipment, a illegal automatic rifle with a good amount of bullets and the biggest grin I could let cross my face.

Tarou: “Time to go~ To my new home!”

Sparks came of from the surface of my philosopher stone, while I imagined my foremost inner desire becoming true. There were many worlds mentioned in the old book, but I just desired one.

Tarou: “Bring me to a world, that is filled with catgirl's!”

I am a perv and my graving made me go through with this. So just relaxing here wasn't possible. I wanted to go on a adventure. Find places to sightseeing. Maybe Fight for love. And plainly get a cute and sexy catgirl as my woman. Settling down somewhere with abundant peace. Living through my life, just passing the time. Yeah, I want that. So grand me this wish, philosopher stone!

The sparks dissolved my skin, my hair, my flesh and bones. They didn't stop dissolving me and my equipment, nor the ground on which I stood. I didn't feel anything and just watched my everything being turned to nothingness.
