This body is different from what my hereditary memory derives from. Either I was encased in the core or imprinted with something deeper than memory, of having what I sense as a bipedal body. These tendrils are more articulate than that of my unconscious memory of fingers were.
I don’t like this… My eye has an acuity that feels off. I feel like the clarity is off. That warmer colors (red, yellow, and orange) are too vibrant and colder colors (blue, green, and purple) are too dull. The light from the console radiates three lengths of my core/eye from the screen. The walls and floors look obsidian dark and foreboding. It feels that the things I can focus on are narrowed to specific things. I see everything however, my focus pulls towards the strange flat surfaces on either side of this strange cylindrical cave.
Another strange feeling is the height at which my body allows me to view the room from. I feel a higher view or an aerial view up would be more comfortable. Our body slithers up along the wall uninhibited by gravity. We move along the ground (that which is our down) leaving no trace behind us as we find a perch up along the ceiling of the room.
We may not have the time for my casual acquainting myself to our new body. What ever was torturing me probably has some capacity to keep surveillance over the area.
I have this drive for vengeance that was not a priority when I was just a core, Still sounds weird to me.
Something is changing… My priority is changing to our priority.
What entered was not what I was expecting. I was expecting a biped similar to what I instinctual felt during my time in pain as a core. I had a head two arms two legs two eyes a nose and a mouth. What entered had many more limbs. It had four large pincers attached to an abdomen with nearly triple as many legs jutting out of it. There was no visible head as we could see it. It sauntered into the room and scuttled up to the alcove we had been residing in.
From my perch on the ceiling we tasted the emotions this creature exuded through its pheromones.
We hungered for something more substantial than meat. There was this burning need…
With this new sense we could taste the being more accurately than we can see it.
We can taste the confusion, interest, and frustration radiating from this creature.
We slither to just above the being. I feel the desire of my companion to rear back and strike at the being. My reluctance stops us and we drool. The being flinches as it feels something drips down on to it. Again we feel this intense need.
We anticipate it looking up but instead these large whiskers shoot up into the air narrowly missing our position. These whiskers seem to be skimming across the ceiling feeling around for the source of the liquid.
It astonishes me as the spot were the creature was hit with our saliva erupts. It erupts in eyes mini versions of our own sprouting out and expanding along its carapace. All at once the eyes seem to turn inward glaring at the creature they expands outward on. The glaring eyes move out sliding along the armored body of the crustacean. One disappears into the joint of the minuscule holes the whiskers shot out of and suddenly as if they could all communicate with all the eyes they in unison all strike and surge into the holes for its whiskers and disappear within the creature.

For a moment nothing happens and I use my tendril sans teeth to rub my singular bulging eye, and that’s when it happens.

No brain info currently to be put here later when I can consolidate it...
I blanch at the sheer amount of information; the being is named Quot Pedes a Corcinos creature. Well the little eyes gave us an invasive scan that would allow a mature astral chimera to pull traits from living organisms and assimilate them on their own body(ies).
Pain begets pain.
{Just in case you don't want more detail.}
Spoiler: Spoiler
Our connection with the Corcinos creates a detailed view equal to it as if all the carapace and musclature was removed. The Corcinos gains a new sense with each of our infecting eyes the Corcinos sees through them. The flood of information stuns and destabalizes its equilibrium. It falls to the ground semi conscious. At this point the Chimera takes full confrol of our body and drops down on to the Corcinos. With full understanding of the Corcinos' body the Chimera moves a direct path into the Corcinos' whisker stalk holes the Chimera liquifies our body and we enter into the body of the Corcinos. Once inside the Corcinos the Chimera has this sense of glee as it stretches tendrils through out the Corcinos' body and goes to the bits of the body that are vistigial grips ahold of them and physically pulls them from the body rupturing and causing as much pain to the Corcinos as possible.
For example we move the largest part of our consolidated body, our eye, where the Corcinos has an organ that has long become dormant an acidic poison sac. The Chimera carefully grips hold of the organ causing no stress to the organ itself and tugs away from where it connects from the rest of the organism. The Corcinos feels as its organ is cradled in an unknown invasive substance in its own body causing a shudder that would make it run in fear if it still had the ability to do so. This cradling sensation grows the a crushing caress into a agonizing stab as the Chimera wrenches the vestigial organ from attaching to the Corcinos' body. The pain causes the Corcinos' to pass out.
We use my [absorb] and surgically remove the poison ink sac.

More blue box info joy my brain wants to never work again. [Absorb] increased from selective absorption
During using the ability to consume the whole of the dormant poison sac. I take this moment to replicate our body into the shape and viscosity of the organ we just absorbed.
Spoiler: Spoiler
Something along the lines of Camoflauge subsect disguise enahances Camoflauge to a higher level.
From the vistigial organs the Chimera reaches into the brain and uses its synapses to stimulate the Corcinos awareness and full pain receptors without giving it access to the control of its body.
There the Chimera with an excited delirium surges out to spread our tentacle like tendrils through out the body and grip the vital organs and pull them apart from the body rupturing the organs one at a time causing the most intense pain possible.
Our spite for these being culminated in a spiteful strike each of the vestigial organs separated themselves from the Corcinos one at a time and then gave a shock to the system to keep it from running as essential organs were separated one at a time until finally killing the beast. All of this was severing the organs with no additional necrosis. To any being outside this specific Corcinos it would appear that the Corcinos' organs pulled themselves from the body with no source of infliction of cutting impliment.
