"We had no time to prepare, no time to think. it all happened in a blink of an eye. My dad came and told us to all get into his car as fast as possible. we didn't know what was going on, but we still listened because of the look of terror on his face. He never got scared to the point of it being visible on his face. We all ran into the car and drove as far away from our house. My sister then asked dad what was going on. He calmed down a bit and explained that he got a call from our uncle that huge wolf like animals were attacking everyone. my mom told dad that it's ridiculous, we live in the city, why would there be wolves here? that's when a car showed up, and on the roof was the same animal that uncle described. This was no ordinary wolf. This was not anything from this world. It looked like a wolf, but it had long legs, black eyes that resemble the sky at night. it was horrifying. The monster was tearing at the roof of the car trying to get into the car. Eventually, it ripped the off the roof and with its sharp teeth, it ate the drivers upper body with one bite. Dad then sped up even more and now there was panic in the car. My sister, brother, mom and I were shouting at dad to speed up even more. My brother looked out and said 'what the, is that a bird? wait, no, that thing has claws'. We all looked up at it as it flew above us. All we could do was look in horror as it turned around and headed for the car. It hit the front window cracking it, then crawled onto the roof and ripped it off easier than the wolf. Dad tried to swerve to get it off, but it was pointless. The bird, with it's long mouth ate my sister like it was nothing. Dad was panicking now, and he crashed the car which helped getting the bird off the car. we slowly got out of the car trying to run to a nearby store to hide in, but that's when the wolf came out of nowhere and pounced on my brother and grabbed my dad and ate him. After that, it just ripped my brother to pieces and ate him too. Me and my mom ran as fast as possible to the store. There was a old man at the door when we knocked on it. He quickly opened it and let us in. Luckily the monsters didn't see us entering. Upon looking around we saw that three others were hiding here too. A woman in her 30s, a young girl in her early 20s, and a man with a gun in his 30s. the man with the gun was a police officer named Sean. We were relieved that a cop was here. However, we weren't prepared for what was about to happen. Suddenly, a monster 10 feet tall with 3 heads broke the front of the store down. Ae all were at the back when it happened, so we didn't get hurt. We were quietly waiting for it to leave, but it was getting closer to the back. That's when the cop ran out with gun drawn, and he started shooting at it with all his ammo, but it did nothing. Just like that, he was ripped in half by the monster and tossed out of the store. We made a break for it not looking back whatsoever. I closed my ears due to the screeching noises coming from the monster. I ran and ran until I left the place and got to a forest. Only then I looked back to tell my mom to run a bit more and that we would be safe there. However, I was alone. No one was around me. I hate my self for covering my ears to this day. I was completely hopeless at that point that I started to break down. I quietly whispered to myself 'why'. If only I didn't close my ears, then I would've heard my mom and maybe saved her. Just then, a car showed up coming down the road. I waved them down and ran quickly on to the road. They offered me a ride to a cabin in the woods that they own. I stayed with them for 5 years. All that time I was wondering to myself 'why isn't the government and the military doing anything? Why aren't they fighting them? Why aren't they gathering the survivors in a safe place?'. If only I knew what happened to the whole world, but back then we had no communication with others, no way to know what is going on.

One cold winter day, the man and woman who own the cabin told me about a base in the mountain where survivors are gathering, but it is not run my the military nor the government. Next day I climbed the mountain all the way up here, the journey wasn't easy, but i didn't care, all i wanted was sign of survivors, and after climbing all the way up, that's where I met you all around the campfire you guys set up. That was when you guys took me to your camp. Thanks to you all, I found hope and was genuinely happy to see that we aren't all dead. You guys allowed me to stay and gave me food, water, and shelter. i really appreciate it," said Gregory, a 20 year old guy, he had blonde hair, blue eyes and he had a bandage around his right arm.
