BEOWULF’S POV

I walked into the room to realize I was the 2nd out of our group of 5 so naturally I attempted to make conversation with the knight already there.

“Hello Sir, my name is Beowulf Woode, recruit knight, what is your rank and name Sir? I asked’

“I'm actually a new recruit as well and my name is Steinar Birger.” The knight stated

“I suppose we should just wait for the others huh?”I questioned

As I said that the door opened and the chosen sorceress entered the small building.

“Hello i'm the sorceress chosen for this group my name is Sorcha Ó Bradáin what's yours”

“Im Beowulf Woode and this is Steinar Birger we are the new recruits chosen for this group.” I explained

“Oh so you two are new huh im quite new as well but Im still experienced in the ways of magic this looks like it's going to be slightly entertaining at least... What are your weapons of choice, knights?” The sorceress asked, surprisingly calm and slightly excited?

“Well,” began Steinar, “I use a Longbow and a small dagger for close range.”

“I use a flail and a mace overall but I do have experience in all kinds of weaponry.”

“Ooooo I like it I use a lot of ice magic in combat but I can use just about any kind.”The sorceress stated proudly

“Where are the others?”

“They haven't arrived yet” Steinar answered slightly forcefully

“I apologize I'm late. The king had some other orders that I had to deliver.” A new voice appeared from behind the door and this new voice entered the building

“I'm going to be the commander of this group. My name is Walter Großg.

“Ok,”Sorcha stated, “My name is Sorcha Ó Bradáin, this is Beowulf Woode and Steinar Birger. They are new recruit knights and I am the sorceress of this group. If you don't mind me asking what is your weapon of choice sir?”

“I use a javelin for long range but my close range is a bit strange. I use a frying pan for close combat.” Walter explained

“A-a frying pan, how is that effective?”Steinar questioned surprised

“Do you really want to see?” Walter asked Steinar

“OH OH I DO” Sorecha yelley overly excited

“Ok let me just-” Walter slammed the frying pan into the wall and completely……….shattered the wall….

“How in the hell did that do that”I question surprised out of my mind

“It's a very strong frying pan”Walter responded

“Where is the last person anyway”

“Don't know, all we can do is wait”Steinar responded

“Well are they gonna walk through like everyone else”I asked and... yea as i said that we heard a new voice

“Ok...ok ok i can do this just gotta go through this door and we will be on our way.”The new voice spoke muttering to themselves

“H-hello im the cleric of the group my name is Sylva Imbrex.”

“Ok,” Walter started “Im Walter Großg this is Beowulf Woode, Steinar Birger, and the sorceress is Sorcha Ó Bradáin”

“Ok well it's nice to meet you all.”Sylva stated calmly

“Alright now we need to set off sometime today luckily i've came up with a map for our travels.”as Walter said that he pulled out a map with a route on it “We follow this route until we get back we get more supplies and leave again towards the areas we didn't cover the first time.”

“Ok how long should this trip take because this kingdom is large this has gotta take a while especially considering that we are looking for a sword.”Steirnar asked Walter

“Around a month per trip so probably two months if all goes well.”Walter explained

“Ok so let's go to the armory to gear up,girls do either of you need to come with us?”I asked

They looked at each other for a minute and Sorcha responded

“Nah we can prepare packs for you while yall are in the armory.”Sorcha responded and Sylva nodded in agreement

And with that we left to get our weapons of choice including Walter’s frying pan.

SORCHA’S POV

“Ok so where exactly do we get these packs?”I asked Sylva I honestly had no idea

“Well we should probably stop by the dining hall and see if they can help.”The cleric responded

“OK! Let's get going”I shouted now excited because we would be leaving soon... And now we are off trying to find the dining hall”

TIIIIIMMMMMEEEEEESSSSSKKKKIIIIIPPPPPP

“Is that enough” I asked Sylva

“Yea I think that should hold us”she responded

“Now all we gotta do is meet back up with the boys”

“Yea”

“LETS GO” I screamed racing towards where I thought the armory was…

Beowulf's POV

“Is that all the weapons?”Walter asked ready to finish as soon as possible

“Yes i do believe so”Steiner responded

“What about you Beowulf?” Walter asked me

“Not quite,”I responded “I still have to gather my enchantment runes”

“Enchantment runes?”Steriger questioned

“Yes enchantment runes,they allow me ,with the related rune, to enchant a weapon with an ability I can move it and they don't get consumed. It has a different use on every weapon and I can enchant any person's weapons but it seems that I've lost my runes... “I explained with a sigh

“How rare are runes in nature?”Steinar asked me

“Fairly rare but not impossible to obtain they appear as rocks with engravings only enchanters ,people who cause these runes, can use and translate the language inscribed on these stones”I explained once more

“What about a stone with words on it?”Sorcha asked peeking her head in the window

“Oh Sorcha!”I exclaimed being slightly startled from the encounter “They are runes ,rocks with inscriptions, I can use them to give abilities to peoples weapons .”

“Wait like this?”Sylva appeared behind Sorcha and handed me a rhombus shaped tone with a character reading “Projectile split”

“OH! This s a projectile split rune it splits any projectile into two ,very useful for ranged weapons”

“Ok so that's what they look like”Walter finally gave his input on the conversation “I've heard that enchanters are quite rare it actually runs in the blood, a normal person cannot actually use these “

“Anyway now that we're here can we get going”Walter asked getting slightly annoyed

“Of course let's get going!”Sorcha exclaimed

And with that we set off for our first month of searching
