Early in the afternoon, different races like elves and beast men knocking on the border gates seeking refuge. The border guard stays vigilant and alert for unnecessary situations. As to why they choose this way? It’s because they will encounter lots of monsters and bandits on the other roads or on the lands where no laws plus supplies like water and food are hard to procure.
Our gates and fences are made by blacksmiths, who trains and honed their skills by finely refining ordinary metals into sturdy, durable, stainless and high resistance wires. These wires are chained or intertwined, making chain wire fences and gate spreading across our borders. This is also part of construction training for thousands of blacksmiths and construction workers, who made an excellent work completing it in just a week. The fences have a height of 10 meters with barb wires at the top and bottom to prevent unwanted visitors from climbing or digging under it. In the future, we will make a steel gate and improve it to the point that even an army cannot pass through.

Children’s crying, adult shouting and pleading to let them pass through. Their eyes are really asking for help. The guards carrying guns and freshly trained are having difficulty on how to address the issue on front of them. It’s not that they are having difficulty in choosing either they let them pass through or kill them to end their sufferings. They already brief and receive their orders yesterday.

Yes, they are having difficulty on how to make these people going crazy on front of them to calm down. Well, I can understand why those people are in panic that they cannot properly negotiate with, its a matter of life and death and its alarming. The situation turns into worse, selfish and hot blooded men starts to fight without caring that they can injure the surrounding and nearby people. The people near the gate turn into wild animals’ quarrel each other and the different noise from different people mix and resulted into an undesired loud noise that makes the guards felt unpleasant and angry at the same time.

The ground shakes and the nearby plain ground near the refugees, who are in chaotic mode, crumbles in an undesired shape or size, leaving a crater and blowing dusts and small pebbles near it. The chaotic people turn into silent realizing what just happen beside them. If that attack is aim at them who was busy at their wild actions, they will be free from their dilemma. Even the crying children go silent and focus their attention towards the crater which suddenly appears realizing the grounds crumbles in an unusual way. There young minds realize something and that is fear. All the people and those fighting men stop their punching and kicking. Then all the people look at the man in the tower
“You people if you will not behave… You will become the ‘crater’ understand?!”
The people nodded unconditionally. It looks like he easily resolved the issue even the government strictly prohibits them to not use their AOE skill because of its huge side effects, the property damage. But this time it looks like he can come up with a good excuse due to the situation gone out of hand.
“Line up!! And listen…we will thoroughly check you up either physical, mental or even your background. If you don’t comply you are free to go!”
The people went silent; I think it’s a good wake up call to them. They are thinking but no one goes the other way. They are thinking for a proper reason why they should pass.

A group of humans holding spears are taking a stance that looks like they will do spear throwing towards the Mulier guards. The people nearby him are frightened by these mad men. They don’t care if the spear hits people at the front and they just ignore the large crater beside him. The man shows that he is a hard-headed bastard or he is just too dumb.
“Close the eyes and ears of your children NOW!!”
The guard shouts to order the adults to cover the children’s eyes and ears as the next scene is quite brutal or not children friendly.
BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG
The arrogant five human bastards fell on their knees with blood flowing in their heads. The refugees or people who witness that event didn’t grasp what just happen. They stare their dead bodies and their brain is having a hard time processing on what just happen. Those fools are alive few seconds, now are dead. The guard was holding a strange weapon in his hand. Does he kill those people? How? And the distance is quite difficult and he just easily kill them within few seconds and only five strange sounds can be heard before those men who are just lively before, now are just cold corpse in the ground. Those are the thoughts of the refugees seeing the deadly scene before them.
“Any fools who perform reckless actions, now is your time to show…come on show up what you made of”
The slightly angry guard provokes any bastard in the group of refugees. The men he kill before are former bandits but even they are former, their bandit attitude remains and because of that, they gone silent just a single bullet in their heads.
The guards are equipped by mini map in their heads, it is part of their profile. When I, Joel, becomes the king, I activated one of the citizen perks and that’s ‘profiler’, it identifies if the person is hostile or dangerous and it helps identify the person’s background.
The refugees compose of elves and beast men lines up while the humans remain arrogant and do some inappropriate actions and breaking the rules in front of the guards. Due to this the people began to quarrel in a minimal way as to not to anger the “Man of Gates”.
“Hey you..Let me through”
A man with an air of a noble or a high position arrogantly bump a woman in front of him, which makes the angry guard before pop a vein in his forehead and ask arrogantly the man riding in a horse. It seems this man in horse arrive late and didn’t witness the quick elimination of five bandits before.
“Hey you…. Go back to your line!”
The elves and some beastmen who knew the man riding in a horse starts to murmur and goes away from the man in the horse.
[Random refugees:]
“that’s a warlord you know…that guard does have a death wish”
“But that guard easily kill the five bandits before like nothing”
“even though..warlords have followers and they are one of the strongest human jobs you know ”
“How high s that guards level? The warlord is at least level 100..even I an elf only in level 50 for past 100 years”
“I don’t know let’s watch at the sidelines”
“That tyrant warlord and the guard..let’s see who will win..hope the guard wins”
The warlord is angry knowing that the lowly guard in front of him acting arrogant and tough. He never experiences this type of treatment in his life after he becomes a warlord. A warlord is almost equivalent to a king in authority and on par with a normal hero. That damn guard must at least bow before him and starts to beg mercy from now on. Let’s see, there is a settlement of natives around here, Mulier Queendom, I think, they are just ignorant natives. Ah, if there’s a settlement there, I will force them to my authority. HAHAHAA. No one ignores a warlord like me, all those lowly lives must obey the great me!
Those are the thoughts of this haughty warlord. That’s the warlord’s thought.
“Do you know me lowly guard? I am a WARLORD! So bow down before me or you will die together with your family!!”
“So you will not line up? Then go home don’t bother us! Shoo!!”
The guard just causally answers him without a care of the warlord’s threats.
Veins pop in the forehead of the warlord after hearing the guards’ casual and at the same time the ‘no-care -if-you-are-a-warlord-or-a-worm’ attitude. And he treats him like a dog, can’t you believe it. The warlord doesn’t believe it. He never ever gets humiliated in front of other people. This guard really wants to get killed!

The spearmen behind him, forms a line and pointing their spear towards the guard at the tower. The onlookers know the drill before and make the children’s eyes and ears close and pray that the guard will not get killed. But on their minds, the guard is surely dead.

The ten spearmen become pieces of meat without realizing what just happen to them. What the guard use is a grenade launcher sending them to hell.
The onlookers are surprise, is that magic? There are no chants or any magic trace after the explosion. The warlord who witnesses the deaths of ten people in just few seconds turning into pieces either their limbs or their armor. They really can’t believe how the guard kill the warlord’s spearmen.
“So you old fart…now you learned a valuable lesson..Care to put your face at the bottom of the line?”
“I..this…this..I cannot accept this…I will KILL YOU!!!”
The thickheaded bastard riding in the horse wildly charge towards the guard who just opens the gate. The people, who come back to reality after witnessing the unexpected event, watch the raging warlord charging towards the guard who kill the bandits and spearmen before.
The warlord charges with his horse while activate his killing skills. [Horse charge], [Spear hit] and many more. He activate all his skills because he was so furious by the guard who didn’t bow before him instead it treats him like a dog and his guards who he personally train them for 10 years was just killed within few seconds. He cannot believe the reality before him.

“That settles it…..alright line up if you want to pass…...anymore idiots will become like him”
The might and feared warlord that arrogantly and haughtily mocked the guard before is easily killed in the spot without the chance to counterattack or even get near to the guard who easily annihilate his opponents, only the sound of gunshot is the thing they ever heard.
“He kill a warlord?”
“Unbelievable!!”
“You..kill the warlord?.......Yehey we are free!!!”
“Thank you mister guard for killing a warlord”
Guard: “Warlord? Is that a food?”
“Ahhh?”
The people who cheers and happily jumping despite the Black Death crisis, are genuinely joyous and tears of happiness in their eyes. Most of the people who are joyous are the humans which live in the fear of their warlords. The warlord’s families who witness his death are miraculously happy. It looks like that damned warlord bastard is a tyrant to the highest level that even his family despises him.
The people starts to line up and every one of them are thoroughly checked and receive medical treatment and cure against the Black Death. The people can’t believe that this country has a cure and on top of that the cure can be seen after few minutes which was to them is a miracle, a miracle that they will live tomorrow and many days to come. The children and the elves who are beyond salvation, that has parts of their body turning into black and starts to rot before, are now slowly gain back their health and life. The people are truly grateful to the Queendom of Mulier.
After they receive their medical treatments and thorough interviews, the one who pass and wanted to become citizens are mandatorily goes to the public bath and tomorrow they must attend seminars to get familiarize with the rules, regulations and anything regarding the Queendom of Mulier. After that they must perform a citizen oath. This citizen oath is just like a blood contract, they just pinch their fingers to let some blood slip and raise their hands to oath under the Mulier flag.
The oath or the citizen blood contract consists of “I am [state your name], will never betray, harm or have ill-intention towards my countrymen or other people or this country. I will always protect and obey my superiors and help to make a better and a good country. I will do my best to become a good citizen for the Queendom Of Mulier. For eternity”
With this oath which is also a form of blood contract, we, the king and Queen and the department heads will feel relieved that our citizens never harm or betrays this country for eternity. This is also a way to make our citizens safe and genuinely loyal to us and to keep them check and prevent any crimes to occur in this country. Even corruption will not surface in this country as they oath to be a good citizens. Even the department heads and all the people here take the oath to prevent future problems due to corruption and crimes.
Well this is just a precaution as fallen kingdoms and countries before is due to conflicts and misunderstandings of people inside plus the people who have negative interests and selfish desires.
And for the ones who commits great crimes, criminals or evildoers are kicked out of the country. We didn’t kill them but when some victims saw the criminals or evildoers, they insist that they will punish and kill them to pay for their crimes, the guards just let the victims punish those criminals.
We didn’t lack any medicine to combat against Black Death since our workers produce 5 to 10 medicines a day. Even the blacksmiths who produce their metal products can make 10 products a day. They are like human factory to me. Because of the proper knowledge and optimization in their work, they can produce a quality and effective product. Our country can make and produce thousands of products a day because our workers work efficiently and they are quite productive. Well of course they eat 3 satisfying meals a day plus snacks and a good break and rest so that they have a time for their family bonding or anything that they like. An effective worker is a happy worker.
“So how’s the medic field training?”
“I learned a lot sir, the trainees are happily treating their patients because they finally use their learnings to the actual people and we really need exposure to different ailments”
“Is the medicine good? Any side effects?”
“Up to now… there are no side effects sir”

Our Queendom didn’t charge these poor infected people because our goal this time is to train our Health workers or doctors and medicine producers or pharmacists to have exposure to their respective fields. Even guards need to know how to handle incoming people from our borders.
Our countries don’t need any money or supplies as food, water and resources is abundant. What we need for now are experienced workers. That’s why we conduct training, medical training, and its free of charge.
The refugees are doubtful of our intentions since we didn’t charge them and take care of them also. They might thinking of enslaving them or anything worst. So to clear their doubts and our country needs more people, we accept them as our new citizens. We didn’t force them to become our citizens, its voluntary. It’s their choice, our only goal this time is medical training and exposure. That’s all.
On that day, the Queendom of Mulier, have new citizens, new workers for our striving nation. A total of 500 dark elves, 700 forest elves, 100 fox men, 200 cat men, 500 tigermen, 5 dryads, 1000 cute and tiny fairies and 200 humans, all of them don’t have heavy crimes and wants to become our citizen out of their own goodwill and free will. And future citizens, I mean incoming refugees are still incoming.
