Date: Second of July, year 810 Post Seminal War (810 PSW)
Location: Chedal Docks.
Job Arseoth drifts after Blue, appearing as casual as he can.
“Reminds you of what Blue?”
“Catacombs. Necromancers.”
Job almost stumbles in surprise. The gray robed figure glances over at the small sound, turns back to whatever they were doing before and then freezes in place. Slowly, like a windmill driven grindstone, the hooded head comes back up and locks onto Blue and the shortswords sheathed at her waist.
“Not many carry the old gladii anymore.”
Blue halts in a casual pose, “and fewer still burn [mudeom kkoch] casually. Even fewer know to blend it with [hwajae saenghwal] and [yeongi saeng-gag].”
“High Priestessss...”
“Once, and perhaps again, [Se Sin] willing. Who contracted your services?”
“Grurvum.”
“The Black Drake of the Deeps yet lives?”
“Indeed.”
Job had frozen at the name Grurvurm, an old memory simmering in his brain. As he touched his hoard-pouch, the memory came rushing back to him.
“
The gray robed figure's head rotated to stare at Job, “And what does thiss meat know of Grurvurm and thosse in his sservice?”
Job spat in the dockside dirt, “That they serve darkness and that their master is a murderer and a rapist.”
Blue's eyes harden, “who was the victim, Job son of Arseoth?”
“Silon'Dez'Mona, her daughters, and her unborn son.”
Blue rests her hands casually on the hilts of her gladii.
“Yield or fight, what's it gonna be priestess?”
“I will feast on your boness!”
Gray Robes thrusts one arm heavenwards in a commanding gesture.
“[Jug-eun jadeul-i geodgo jeogdeul-ui sum-eul humchil geos-ibnida!]”
The lid of the largest crate smashes into a shower of splinters as a hand comprised of yellowed bones smashes through it. An arm, shoulder, head and torso follow, each an amalgamation of bones in a grotesque parody of the human form. Bones were warped and bent about each other, spinal columns wrapped like strands of a rope about limbs to reinforce them, the jaw replaced by two sets of nested serpentine mandibles complete with folding 'fangs' made from sharpened leg bones. Eight feet tall, the eye sockets of its head and the various skulls embedded into it's torso glow with emerald fire as it takes in all that is happening around it. The creature strides forward, kicking aside the ruin of its concealment to stand besides it's master. Shouts of panic go up across the docs at the sight and sound of the skeletal thing. Heads pop up along the gunwales of the ships and commanding shouts start to ring out form the escort.
Candle pulls the scabbard from her naginata and rushes forward from where she had been loitering.

Job pulls his Wand of Web from his belt and triggers it at the gray robed figure. They go to the ground hard, wrapped up tight and held in place by strands of magical adhesive.
Blue draws her gladii and wades into the creature swinging. One blade bites briefly, but only cleaves a small chip of bone away.
“[Seutil Seukin!] It's a bone golem! Hit it until it's dust!”
The bone golem rains two lumbering punches into Blue's shoulders, sending her staggering. Job levels an accusing finger at the bone golem.
“
A burst of golden flames washes of the bone golem, but only blackens a small portion of it's head. The prow gun of the escort comes around, tying to draw a bead on the bone golem without hitting any of the bystanders. Candle closes the distance with the bone golem, naginata leading, in a a rush of speed.
Job grins, “fire seems to work, pour it on!
Four rays of golden flame scorch great patches of the bone golem's surface black. A lump of golden fire, the heavier firebolt, crashes into its chest with the sound of cracking bones. Blue stabs with her gladii again. One skips off but the other finds the briefest of purchases. In that instant she lets of a shout.
“[Muchabyeol Daeib!]”
There is a ripple of energy along the blade of her gladius, but all she manages to achieve is to shave off another sliver of bone.
“I can't hurt it!”
The bone golem retaliates by slamming a fist down onto Blue's head and driving her down into a crouch. Job levels another accusing finger it it's head.
“Get out of there Blue!
Another burst of flames wraps around the bone golem's head. There is the distinct sound of bone cracking, but the golem only sways for a moment. The escort's gun fires with a cloud of brown smoke, the shell streaking past the bone golem's head before crashing into a warehouse and detonating with a sharp crack. Candle hisses in frustration and backs off a few steps and works her naginata at reach against the Bone golem.
“Eich Taro! Eich Taro!”
Her naginata flairs with light and the bone golem recoils under the magical assault, bone splinters raining down to the ground.
Job steps forward to stand next to Blue, “Here, try this.
The Fire Bolt rips upwards at a sharp angle, zips between the bone golem's mandibles, and blows the top of it's skull out. For the briefest of moments the green fire it its many eye sockets goes out. Three heartbeats later, just as job starts to relax, they fill again with black fire. The bone golem lets out a grinding chuckle that rises into a hideous wailing cackle as black fire weeps from every joint along it's body. Candle flinches but hold her ground. Blue breathes deep and centers herself. Job feels dead set in to his bones as his hands start to shake, fear gripping his heart.
“[Bul Sum Muchabyeol Daeib!]”
A wash of blue flames rushes from Blue's mouth to envelope the torso of the bone golem and send blackened chunks of rib cascading to the ground. The bone golem retaliates with two overhead punches, but Blue ducks nimbly out of the way. The escort's prow gun barks again and this time the shell strikes home with the crunch of breaking bones. The sharp crack as it explodes throws fragments of bone into the harbor but the bone golem continues its rampage unabated. Candle manages to land another hit with a further shout of “Eich Taro!” and another flare of light shows a chunk of the bone golem's arm falling to the ground. Job stumbles backwards in fear, scrambling to put distance between himself and the bone golem as he puts his thoughts in order. He only runs thirty feet before mastering his fear and turning back to face the bone golem.
“[Bul Sum Muchabyeol Daeib!]”
Another wash of blue flames staggers the bone golem, chunks of burnt and blackened bones falling to the ground as it moves. The bone golem lets out another cackle of laughter as it rains punches down on Blue, driving her to one knee. Job sees a gasp of blue flames rush from between her lips, but it quickly sputters out ans the Dragon's Breath spell falls apart. Job freezes in shock before collapsing to the ground as his muscles twitch uncontrollably to the cadence of the bone golem's cackles. As Job twitches helplessly, paralyzed by the bone golem's laugh, he manages to flex his sorcerous magic and squeeze out a Subtle Draconic Rebuke. A burst of golden flames rips another small chunk of the bone golem's torso away. A shot from the escort cripples the golem, plowing off its left arm and head, but the body continues to rage on.
“Eich Taro!”
With a final chop of Candle's naginata and a final pulse of light the bone golem crumples to the ground and burns away to ash. Blue recovers quickly and rushes over to Job who is still twitching uncontrollably on the ground. Guardsmen and sailors rushed in, both to fight the fire starting to form in the interior of the damaged warehouse and to take control of the individuals who had just torn the hell out of the waterfront.
“...old of that necrom...”
“...rch those crates! We do...”
“...AN! GET YOUR COMMAN...”
Job felt the twitches slowly fade as he slipped into unconsciousness, his throat clamping shut and his lungs unable to breath.
