CHAPTER 8

As I lay on the floor, I could hear the chaos around me. I struggled to keep my eyes open, trying to assess the situation. Rei was still fighting, using her spear and the remaining soju bottles as weapons. She was outnumbered and outmatched, but she fought like a warrior. I knew I had to get up and help her, but my head was pounding and I could barely move. Suddenly, there was a loud crash, and the boat rocked violently. I heard shouts of surprise and anger from the enemy, and then a moment of silence. I struggled to sit up, wincing in pain as I touched the back of my head. Blood coated my fingers.

Rei was standing over me, her eyes wide with fear and determination. "We have to surrender," she said, her voice shaking. "We can't win this fight, not with them outnumbering us like this."

I nodded, trying to catch my breath. "Okay," I said. "But we have to protect Miya and Ayato. They can't get hurt."

Rei nodded, and we stood up together. We held our weapons at the ready, trying to look intimidating even though we knew we were at a disadvantage. The enemies emerged from the smoke, their weapons glinting in the dim light. There were eight of them left, including their leader. He was a scruffy-haired man with a burn across half his face and a medical eyepatch on the other side. He looked highly intelligent and cruel.

"Well, well," he said, his voice smooth and mocking. "What do we have here? A couple of brave warriors, trying to take on the world? How adorable."

Rei stepped forward, her spear held steady. "We surrender," she said, her voice steady. "But we won't go down without a fight."

The leader laughed. "I like your spirit," he said. "But it won't do you any good. You're outnumbered and outmatched. Surrender now, and we might spare your lives."

Rei glanced at me, and I nodded. We had no choice. We lowered our weapons and raised our hands, submitting to their authority.

The leader grinned triumphantly. "Good," he said. "Now, let's see what we have here. Some supplies, some weapons, and..." He gestured towards Miya and Ayato, who were huddled together in fear.

Ravenclaw stood in front of them, a sickening grin plastered across his face as he introduced himself. His eyes glinted with malice as he pointed at Rei, his intentions all too clear. "I have a proposal for you," he said, his voice dripping with wicked intent.

Rei glared at him, her grip tightening around her makeshift spear. She had never felt such a burning hatred towards someone before. This man, this monster, had attacked them without provocation, and now he was proposing something unspeakable.

Ravenclaw's gaze flickered to Rei's weapon, a mocking glint in his eye. "Me and the lady will have a bit of fun," he said, gesturing towards Rei, "in return, I'll kill you all later. Let you live for a few hours."

Rei could feel the blood rushing to her face, her anger boiling over. She took a step forward, ready to strike, but Ravenclaw's men quickly surrounded her, their weapons at the ready.

"As for the kids," Ravenclaw continued, his voice sickeningly casual, "I'll let the others have fun with them. Galleyho is practically drooling at that boy, and that girl will suit the rest of 'em."

Miya and Ayato huddled behind Rei, their eyes wide with fear. Rei felt a protective instinct surge through her, her heart pounding in her chest. She couldn't let anything happen to them.

"We'll never agree to your disgusting proposal," she spat, her voice shaking with rage.

Ravenclaw's smile never faltered, his eyes glittering with amusement. "Oh, I'm sure you will," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "Or else we'll have to make you suffer before we kill you."

Rei gritted her teeth, her grip on her spear tightening. She knew they were outnumbered, outmatched, but she couldn't let them give up. They had to find a way out of this, they had to protect Miya and Ayato. She glanced at me, who was watching the exchange with a quiet intensity. I had always been the calm and collected one, the strategist. She could see the gears turning in my head, my mind working to find a way out of this. As Ravenclaw and his men closed in on them, Rei braced herself for the worst. They would fight, they would do whatever it takes to protect the children.

My blood boiled with rage, but I knew that if we fought back, they would kill us all without hesitation. The situation was hopeless. But then, another of Ravenclaw's men stepped forward, holding Ayato hostage with a spear gun pointed at his head. My heart sank as I saw the fear in Ayato's eyes and the terror in Miya's posture. She was slumped on the ground, utterly defeated.

Rei's eyes filled with tears as she looked at Ayato, and without hesitation, she dropped her spear. "Please don't hurt them," she pleaded. "You can have me."

I felt a lump form in my throat as I realized that we had no choice but to surrender. We dropped our weapons and Ravenclaw's men swarmed around us, grabbing us and separating us from each other. Galleyho took Ayato, the poor boy screaming and kicking as he was dragged away, while Miya remained on the ground, unmoving.

Ravenclaw smirked at us as he ordered his men to escort me and Rei to separate rooms on their ship. "You said you wouldn't hurt them!" Rei shouted, her voice shaking with anger and despair.

"Oh did I...?" Ravenclaw replied, his voice dripping with malicious amusement. "No, I never, I only promised not to harm you two for a couple of hours..."

I was stuck in that room, feeling helpless and hopeless. The only sound that filled the air was the constant creaking of the ship, which only added to my anxiety. I couldn't believe how Ravenclaw had planned everything out so meticulously, leaving us with no chance to escape. I tried to move my hands and feet, but the rope was too tight, digging into my skin. The tape on my mouth made it impossible for me to speak or even make a sound.

Minute after minute passed. My mind raced as I tried to come up with a plan. I had to find a way out of this situation, but how? Suddenly, I heard footsteps approaching the room. My heart started pounding in my chest, and I held my breath. The door creaked open, and one of the guards entered, his eyes fixed on me. I stared back, trying to keep my expression neutral.

The guard walked over to me and began to loosen the ropes around my hands. My heart rate picked up even more, and I wondered if this was some kind of trick. But to my surprise, the guard removed the tape from my mouth and spoke, "Boss wants to see you."

I nodded, relieved to finally have a chance to speak and perhaps even plan a way out of this mess. As we walked down the hallway, I noticed the other crew members were giving me strange looks. It was as if they were all in on the plan, and I was the only one left in the dark.

We entered a large room, and Ravenclaw sat at the head of a long table, his expression unreadable. I wondered what he had in store for me. "Ah, there you are," he said, grinning

Ravenclaw grinned with a smug expression as he gestured towards a dark corner of the room. Dread and horror surged through me as I followed his finger and my eyes landed on Ayato's lifeless body, lying naked and violated on the floor. My heart felt like it was being crushed with an iron grip, and tears streamed down my face as I let out a gut-wrenching scream.

It was like a dam had broken inside me, releasing all the anger, frustration and pain that had been building up since we were captured. My mind was consumed with a fierce rage that left no room for rational thought, and I launched myself at Ravenclaw with all the strength I could muster. I wanted to rip him apart, to make him suffer for what he had done to Ayato and for all the evil he had inflicted upon us.

But I was no match for Ravenclaw and his crew. Three of his men quickly grabbed me and held me back, their grip like iron shackles that I couldn't break free from. I struggled and thrashed, trying to break their hold, but it was futile. My entire body shook with fury as I glared at Ravenclaw, seething with rage and hatred.

"I'LL KILL YOU!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, my voice raw with emotion. Every fiber of my being was consumed by a burning desire for revenge, a thirst for justice that would not be quenched until Ravenclaw and his crew paid for their sins.

As I struggled against Ravenclaw's crew, my mind raced with thoughts of revenge and escape. My heart pounded in my chest as Ravenclaw laughed maniacally, taunting me with the knowledge of Ayato's fate. But then, amidst the chaos, Rei's voice echoed in my mind, reminding me of what was truly important. With a sudden burst of clarity, I turned my attention to the crew member closest to me, grabbing the machete at his side and wrenching it free.

As I swung the machete with all my might, I could feel the wind rush past my face as the blade connected with flesh. Two of Ravenclaw's crew members fell to the floor, their heads rolling away in a gruesome display. The third struggled to hold me down, but I was too strong. With a swift elbow to his gut, I broke free and lunged at Ravenclaw, the machete still in my grasp.

My eyes locked onto his, burning with rage and determination. I knew that killing him would strike a blow to his crew's morale and potentially give us the upper hand. But Ravenclaw was no fool - he stepped forward, unflinching and cold, his eyes fixed on mine. With a sudden movement, I swung the machete with all my might, aiming for his heart. But he dodged it easily, and I felt the blade lodge itself in the wall behind him.

Suddenly, two of his crew members emerged from the shadows, one armed with a speargun. Before I could react, the gun went off, and a searing pain shot through my leg. I fell to the ground, writhing in agony as Ravenclaw and his crew closed in around me.

My mind reeled with confusion as I struggled to count how many there were. We had counted 14 earlier, but now it seemed as though there were more. My head throbbed with pain as I tried to think straight, desperately searching for a way out. I had to get Rei, Miya and Ayato to safety.

With a sudden burst of adrenaline, I yanked the harpoon out of my leg and swung it at Ravenclaw's stomach. The weapon sank deep into his flesh, and as surprised as he was he let out a pained cry. The other two crew members stopped in shock, frozen by the sudden turn of events. I knew I had to act quickly if I was going to survive.
