Jim checked the Mike's body and found he is alive. He lifted Mike's body on his back and move outwards the forest. He then ran toward Samson's Mansion where Marc seeing him asked, " Hey Jim, what happened and who is he." looking at the young man on his back. Jim explained the situation to Marc.

''He is a knight in the order. We need give him first aid.'' said Jim.

"Okay, I will call Mary and go to room after Sir's room." Responded Marc.

Jim go to the room as Marc said and put the knight on the bed. Then Marc came with a girl who he has seen today morning in Mr.Samson's room.

" She is Mary. She known about medicines and she use heal magic." said Marc. The girl bandaged Mike's wound and use her heal magic to heal him.

"I have informed about the adventure guild about the situation here and they said some official in the order will came to the see the incident also. Jim, Sir Samson is calling you." Jim and Marc go to Mr. Samson's room.

"Hello, Mr. Samson." Jim greeted Mr. Samson speak,

"Hello Kid, I am grateful for helping us getting rid of that terror bird. It has destroyed our field and injured me and my family. Anyway, how is the knight you saved."

"Mary is giving medical treatment to him, Sir." Replied Marc.

"Anyway, you need my signature for completing the quest. If you give the quest bill, I will sign it now." Jim gave the bill , Mr. Samson signed the bill and gave back to him. Mr Samson gave him 350 Nars as per reward.

Jim and Marc left the room and go to the room where the knight was resting. Marc asked the condition of the knight to Mary. She said that his condition are normal but he is still unconscious. After some rest he will wake. Suddenly a person came to Marc reporting someone came from the adventure guild and waiting outside the mansion. Jim and Marc went to the garden to meet the official.

"I don't expect to meet you here, kidd." a middle aged man speak to them. Jim recognised the man, it is Kaith Lande, Adventurer ID examiner. "How is the knight." Kaith asked. Jim explained conditions of the knight to Lande.

"Oh, he is still unconscious. We informed the official of the Order. They came today afternoon to get the boy." Kaith informed them. "Why are you here" asked Jim.

"Oh well! You asked the right question. Kidd." Kaith explained. "When guild known about the beast which attacked the knight and it is now dead by the knight or so. The guild want to take the corpse of the beast as to avoid the wastefulness of materials or to simply put it as, I came to retrieve the corpse of the beast and dismantle it to usefull material and useless material. The usefull material will be taken by the guild and useless will be buried in the forest to avoid any problem. So kidd, led the way to the corpse."

"Ok." Jim replied and after saying his regard to Marc. He left with Kaith to the forest. Along Kaith complaint about guildmaster sending him to this mission to retrieve the corpse. "Ah! I wish that old man sent someone to this mission. Why would he sent me to this mission to distrub my sleep time. Hey Kidd, let go quickly."

They reached the corpse of the beast. Kaith look at the corpse and said, " Oh! It's a D ranked serpentine beast, Black Serpent." He examined the body to how to dismantle it. He first cut the head and the body into two parts. Half of the head was blasted, so there was not much to dismantle. He dismantled the remaining eye and tooth. Then he cut the scales off the body. He butcher the meat and bone cleanly. The remaining useless part was moved to a side and he put his hand on the ground and channels his mana to the ground. The ground become watery like it become muddy water. The useless material on the ground sink into the ground like it was in the water. Jim was surprised to see it and asked, "What was that?"

Kaith explained, "Kidd, this is a water elemental technique. I channel my mana to ground which change the state to liquid. After sometime the ground become normal. That's all."

After the explanation, Kaith take a bag which absorb the dismantled material. "Let's go, kidd."

Two of them went to the direction of the town. They existed the forest. On the way, Kaith began to explained about Black Serpent.

Black Serpent is a Serpentine rock elemental beast. It usually lives in mountains, Cliff, Raven, and Rocky plain. It can travel underground.It scales are used to make armour which sold at profitable amount.

They reached the guild and two of them enter the guild. Kaith went to the guildmaster and Jim went to the front desk and gave his bill. Martha check the bill and confirm completion of quest. She gave him congrats and informed that guildmaster is looking for him. After updating his ID card, she gave back the card to him.
