Beyond the constraint of all of Space and time lies a realm. Untouched by the Materium it was Hell. This was Subarashii Torikago. A place to bind the damned. The realm acted as a giant cage for souls. Built by Onsei as a safe haven from the forces of Heaven; the world was built to increase the number of souls and in turn increase the strength of its ruler.
Watching the Materium from the city painted with Gold atop the Invisible Castle, Onsei subtlety influenced the Materium to drag the souls. His purple hair and yellow snake like eyes gave a maddening feeling to all those who gazed at him. His face looked old but his body was still strong. There was a legend that every Thousand years he would shed his skin like a snake.
While Onsei watched the world with his unconcealed glint, four guards watched him. They were the Heart of Onsei. Thoth, The Anger. Sharriwan, The Greed. Ren, The Hate and Riku the Innocence. They were the Keepers of the Cage.
Ch 1
Hotaka Takahara, was a college student living in the Mid Eastern of Culligan City. He had a jet black short hair and purple eyes which seemed to weird out people. His parents were out of state. Joshua, his best friend, had decided to go to the local pub and like a good friend he decided to join.
He arrived in a colorful blazer and pant.
"Is that what you are wearing, Taka?" Joshua asked jokingly. He came wearing a blue jacket and khaki pants. Ofcourse, his nerdy glasses not leaving him.
Takahara felt embarrassed.
"Well, I thought it would be the best to wear."
Joshua smiled and hugged Takahara.
"You are too easy to embarrass, my friend."
He was right. Takahara, unlike Joshua, was a shy boy. Even at the age of 19.
They went inside the club. Joshua had booked their usual place. A private joint for him and his friends.
Just as they were entering Takahara felt a cold chill pass through him. He could see a shadow of a man. Hidden behind the corner of his eyes. Time stood still as he gazed at the shadow. Two dots of red lights could be seen by Takahara, where its eyes were supposed to be. Sweats poured from his forehead and his breathing became hard.
'Wha- What is happening?' Takahara thought as standing straight became hard.
A dark and cold laughter hit him. Like a windows beating on a cold wind.
"Taka! Taka!"
Takahara turned at the door. He could see a look of worry on Joshua's face.
"Sorry?" Was all that came out of Takahiro's mouth.
"Are you okay? You are sweating. If you are sick then we can cancel."
Takahiro turned around at the same corner. Finding nothing. He shakes his head.
'Must be my imagination.' He assures himself.
Turning at the door again.
"Its nothing. Just thinking."
Joshua looked at him weirdly as both went inside.
Their place was at the first floor. A private room in the club. They didn't want anyone spotting them at this club. There were two others. All were talking about college and everything that could pop on their mind. But Takahiro couldn't shake off the feeling of the Shadowy figure. He took a ship of his dream and went to the washroom. He needed to freshen himself.
He went at the tap. Washing off his face. He could see the reflection on the mirror. His eyes seemed to have become bloodshot.
When he closed the tap he could finally hear the sounds. Or in this case the lack of it.
'Weird.' He thought. 'Are they planning to prank me?'
Suddenly the door opened and Joshua entered. An unnerving smile on his face. It seemed weird to watch Joshua with that kind of smile.......
"Come on Taka! You are missing out, they're about to cheer! You don't wanna Miss out!" Joshua would remark, his unnerving smile slowing fading as he said that, with a new smile replacing the old. Hotaka, would hear this and would look back at the mirror, taking one final look at himself as he hyped himself up. "Yeah! Ok, I'm ready. Let's have some fun." Hotaka would reply to Joshua, before going going out to the bar with him.

As they were partying, Joshua would bring over a rack of drinks for them to enjoy, as Hotaka smiled, seeing Joshua acting normally again. "To our lead "Researcher"! Taka! " Joshua would proudly proclaim, with the word researcher coming out weird due to a voice crack. Hotaka paid it no mind, and downed his drink.
They were all joking around before Hotakas head started to pound intensely. Joshua could see that Hotaka, leaning on the table, was in pain. He excused himself from the table and took him to the side of the bar near the kitchen area. He put his hand against his forehead. "Man your really burning up. Are you feeling alright?" Joshua worriedly asked. Hotakas body feeling like it was being dragged through fire as his vision started to blur. "J-Josh, I think I’m sick, I-I need to get home." Hotaka would say, freaking out.
A horrible wicked smile grew across his face. Joshua would pat him on the head saying. “Don't worry about it, relax...our "Researcher" is Very reliable~. Just stay calm and go to sleep~." Joshua would say, his voice piercing Hotaka like a knife.
Hotaka wouldn't begin to fathom what he said as his body begun to painfully Converse. He would hit the floor in a painful spree of jolts and muscle spasms. He would take one last look at Joshua who had a devilish smile portrayed onto his face, before suddenly. Darkness.
[One second passed]
[Two seconds passed]
[Three days passed]
[Three months passed]
“I’m blind, I can't see or feel anything. My body is numb, my body, where is it, I don't know where it is, how long has it been, one? Three? No, can't be true. Days? Months? I can't tell.” Hotaka would think before he felt a rush of air go pass him.
“Air? Feel?”he would think before he managed to reach something. He could feel his own body now, or rather, his lack of it. He could tell something was off, and he knew what it was. Hotaka could tell he was something similar to a ghost, as he could make out the outlines of his body as it began to flicker.
Suddenly, before even figuring out what he was, he was in front of three guards encircling someone who looked important. Before he can comprehend what just happened, the guards picked him up, their touch giving off a tingling feeling, like their body is gifting off pure unadulterated power. Hotaka would lift his head before he saw the man himself.
A purple haired and yellow snake like eyed old man was sitting in front of him, his Stern face looked at hotaka as his snake eyes pierced his. His mere presence was burning Hotaka.
"Name, Hotaka Takahiro. Occupation, none. Friends, 4. Seems you didn't have a eventful life either, and died by one of your close friends as well. That's a shame." He would say, looking at pieces of golden paper in his lap as he flipped through it, apparently flipping though his entire life like it was on a flipbook.
Hotaka, rubbing the back of his head would begin to speak. "So uh...I was killed by my friend....is what your saying?" He would say, his voice becoming shaky as if he was about to cry.
The old man would introduce himself, completely ignoring Hotakas question. "My name is Onsei, the Fisher. I fish souls from all worlds to set them into another, based on their actions and history." Onsei would say, not looking at hotaka as Hotaka now got a little mad.
"Hey! Listen here you old man! I need to know what's going on! Or else!" Hotaka threatened, as onsei would look at him now. Onseis eyes narrowed before howling out in delight before he placed Hotakas body into a light chamber.
"For threatening me, that is a Great Sin. And plus, seeing you have not had a grand life, I'm gonna watch you struggle within the new life I am gonna give you. No need to be afraid.... because you should be frightened to death. Goodbye."
And as these words left his mouth, Hotakas spirit was torn apart. His body being forced through the Multiverse. Hotaka begun to see an infinite number of possible events occurring at once, and then, darkness.
