'That's it!'
'I can use my head to hold the leaves against the tree and thread the leaves with my left hand... I'm a genius!'
- two hours go by -
With a slight smile and a squint in his eyes, Michael finally finished his first make-shift bag.
Parts of it were torn, and one part of the bag was threatening to fall off completely, but Michael's eyes sparkled at his 'marvellous' creation.
With his 'bag' completed he started searching for the slightly more 'appetising' pieces of meat. He managed to find at least four healthy chunks of meat that he placed in his bag, which was impossibly holding up despite having to actually carry something.
*kuchu kuchu kuchu*
A few metres behind Michael a couple of bushes started to rustle and shake and a weird noise was being emitted, it was almost like a mouse eating cheese but, much louder.
Michael wasn't bothered to stick around either. So not wanting to find who's menu he was on next, he dashed away with his colourful leaf-bag in tow.
He brazenly slapped the forestry, that was attacking his face, away from him and narrowly dodged roots of the many trees which stuck up from the ground.
After running a reasonable distance away from the 'mouse eating cheese' creature. Michael took a knee and remembered to look at his status, as he was feeling much better than earlier after eating the snake meat.

'Hmmm after eating the meat I seem to have gained 100 HP, and my MP became full again.'
Michael quizzically stroked his chin, which in turn scraped off some of the dried blood from the earlier battle with the snake meat.
'So it seems that to regain health I need to eat food and I think that my Mana regenerates over time, which would explain the significant difference between the two figures.'
He started massaging his temples.
'Also strength went up by 2 and so did constitution without me putting any points in. I wonder if that's from eating the meat or something else?'
He started stretching and warming up his body.
'Well, I might as well practice my new found magical abilities!'
He gave hmmpph, clicked his neck to the side and back again, took a deep breath and blew out.
He slowly raised his hand upwards focus on the ground below, which was started to quake slightly.
Michael felt a gentle tingling sensation flowing through his body, and then the earth opened up as a small pillar, made of stone-like materials, rose upwards.
His chest grew excited as he couldn't stop his heart from racing.
Wanting to see precisely what he was capable of he tensed up his whole body and attempted to move as much mana into the earth as possible.
The ground beneath him started reverberating and a circular platform, about as thick as a tree, lifted him into the air.
He was at the height of the tip of the forest, god-rays from the golden sun dazzled him with warm light.
The wind wrapped itself around his small frame, shooting past at high speeds nearly knocking off the platform.
Michael shouted with glee into the afternoon sky, this was the first time he had experienced true power and seemingly had forgotten all his previous misfortunes.
Five minutes went by as Michael let out his excitement, quickly evaporating his energy. Slowly he came to his senses and pondered to himself.

'Now how do I get down.'
He began to try access his mana again and tensed up only to feel nothing.
His face dropped, and his eyes wandered to bottom of the pillar, which was a terrifying five stories below him.
'Stt STATUS?'

"OH. I'm such an idiot!"
He palmed his face, leaving a bright red mark of a hand covering his mouth, cheeks, and brow.
'What do I do now?'
Taking a deep breath, Michael laid onto his back and stared at the sky. He saw the great big ball of flame that he would call the 'sun,' but alongside it was multiple different moon-type planets.
Three moons sat side by side.
They each varied in size and grace, the smallest one being breathtakingly beautiful. It was cerulean and had delicate wisps of mist that spun around it. Michael stared at it seemingly falling into a trance as his head danced around his neck.
The Moon next to it seemed to be deprived of any joy, it sat still, unmoving as if contemplating on something. It was eerily black in colour, and it seeped away any sunlight that shone on to it.
The last and largest moon stood firm, the way the light hit it made it seem as if it was asserting itself towards the sun basking its sapphire shell under the heat.
With his eyes drifting ever closer to rest, Michael marvelled at the scene above him. Three graceful moons and a vast Sun, which was slowly disappearing under the horizon, lighting up the lush green forest surrounding him.
Howls of beast and animals echoed under the branches of epic trees. The cries reverberated through the whole forest like a roar of a car bouncing from one side to another.
A magnitude of stomps and crashes could be felt, shaking he body of the forest.
A warzone was below him, and Michael got to listen and hear it all.
As time flew by the massive amount of sound generated from the forest soon to turned into white noise, constant and everlasting.
The Sun had finally past the horizon allowing the cold night sky to consume everything. Michael's eyes slipped away into sleep.
...................................................................................................................................................
The night faded quickly, and Michael once again awoke the gentle tap of sunlight on his shoulder.
Yawning, he stretched his arm and stub into the breezy air.
He sighed as he looked around the forest from his vantage point. Miles upon miles of maze-like shrubbery expanded throughout the land. A heritage green was painted on the tops of trees.
"Status"
Michael spoke monotonously, seemingly getting used to having to look at it.

'Ah my manas fully restored but my health, well it seems I was correct, I need to eat to restore it.'
Nervously, He leaned over the edge of the stone tower and started making little tips of rock poke out of it like a climbing wall.
After finishing the 'climbing wall', he started making his way, stumbling a couple times, with sweat dripping from the forehead into the eyes, breaking his concentration. His palm slipped, and his body began falling. With limbs flailing in the air and panic bleeding across his face, with a desperate struggle he forced another ledge to push out of the column and catch him.
His body thudded and created a small dent on the balcony.
His stomach crumpled, and blood splattered out of his mouth marking one the trees.
He pulled naked body upwards and found that his bag was still fully intact. Despite the pain he was in, the fact his poorly made bag of twigs and leaves was still managing to pull its weight, he couldn't help but laugh.
He continued to laugh, but when he checked his health, it had fallen from 180 to 100.
A flash of fury coloured his pupils, and he was about to punch into the wall but decided against it as he couldn't afford to lose much more health.
After spending some time recovering, he began his descent again, he got to the bottom without a hitch, even with his aching muscles and sore body.
After checking his surroundings, he began his journey to civilisation, or at least he hoped. Actively searching for any possible predator, he chopped away at the leaves with his arm.
