Chapter 2: 100 Times Experience?

Chapter 2: 100 Times Experience?

Looking at my new face in the mirror for a while, I finally sighed. I still couldn't accept what was going on around me. The fact is, I'm not the same person I used to be.

I looked around to make sure no one was nearby. Then, from memory, I found the light switch and turned it on. The gloomy room lit up, revealing the apartment.

I made up my mind to tidy up before my new sister got home. But the next movement made me squirm in pain. I reminded myself to be gentle with the girl. The freaks didn't forgive even such sweet prey. Enduring the pain, I went to the bathroom to find something to ease the pain and treat any wounds.

Opening a small cabinet in the corner of the bathroom, I looked for a while before finding a painkiller. After taking one, I turned my gaze to the mirror and found something in the medicine cabinet. I began to dab it on the swollen area.

My gaze then fell on my chest. I reached for the shirt I was wearing, but my longer hair was getting in the way. I tangled my hair for a while. When I had these thoughts, the snow-white skin and black bra opened before my eyes.

Elanor's figure was quite lean, as she neglected it. But it was as if her intimate area hadn't suffered from it. Although I felt some strange feelings about my gender suddenly changing, I pushed those thoughts to the back of my mind.

My gaze lowered to where a bruise was visible, that's what hurt when I moved. Thinking back, it was one of those freaks that had punched Elanor in the stomach. After searching through the medicine cabinet for a while, I found something to help.

Slowly rubbing it on, I wondered what to do next. The aftermath of going to another world of sorts and memories of parallel worlds, magic, and all that made me anxious. During my many attempts to recall past events, I have never been able to find evidence that confirms the existence of the supernatural. There were no indications of spiritual entities or anything beyond what is considered normal.

The planet I found myself on was similar to Earth, with the exception of additional named countries, a solar system with two satellites, and a different arrangement of continents. Although there were only three supercontinents by Earth's standards, they were still referred to as continents. As I pondered this new world, I finally felt some pain relief from the medication. I wanted to close the first aid kit and begin cleaning up the debris, but a flashing sign suddenly appeared in my field of vision. As soon as I focused my thoughts on the sign, a transparent blue curtain opened before my eyes.

The panel with my stats reminded me of a game interface. I was momentarily stunned, trying to recall where I had seen it before.

Upon closer inspection, I realized that my body wasn't particularly strong. However, I was more intrigued by the Skills tab. I noticed a plus sign next to each skill, which caught my attention.

My focus on the plus sign triggered a new window to appear, which surprised me. The window displayed the following information:Skill

> Name: Breathing

>

> Level: 2

>

> Description: You have learned to breathe more efficiently, which reduces the consumption of oxygen and increases your stamina. Conditions for use: You may use the skill permanently. Stamina for physical loads is increased by 10%.

After reading the description of the skill, I wondered when I could have learned to breathe more efficiently. I attempted to breathe deeply, and it seemed to be slightly easier, but the difference was not significant.

According to the game's skill system, repetition was necessary to increase the level. So, I took a deep breath and focused on the window.

Despite my doubts, I continued to take deep breaths to level up. The numbers on the window remained unchanged, however, and I was beginning to get frustrated. Suddenly, a small text appeared on the left side of my vision.

> [Breath +1(*100)]

I felt a surge of excitement as the text appeared, but the number 100 next to the plus sign puzzled me. When I turned my gaze back to the status window, I saw another line of text:

> Breath: Level 2 [1800/10000] (+)

For some reason, it multiplied by 100 again, and I couldn't figure out why. Suddenly, a thought popped into my head. I remembered that I had played the game before I left for work on the road where I had an accident. Since I had passed the game several times, it became boring, and I downloaded a cheat to speed up the experience. This cheat had a feature that allowed me to increase the amount of experience required to strengthen skills. I set the value to 100, and thinking back, it all made sense.

The more I thought about it, the more I became convinced that there was nothing else associated with this panel. However, to level up the Breath skill, for example, I had to do it by the panel standard. Even so, I could get a hundred times more experience instead of 1, which seemed unbelievable if it worked for me. Considering that I was in a different world, believing this didn't seem strange.

Before I could test it out, I had to tidy up the apartment. My body's sister was quite strict about keeping things clean, and I didn't want to draw attention to myself since I was no longer the Elanora she knew. It took some time, but I finally got everything in order.

When I was done, the familiar font of the status window came into view. However, it was different this time, with values popping up several times during the cleanup. After being distracted for a while, I stopped paying attention and focused on cleaning.

After finishing the cleaning, I looked at the status window again and saw that I had gained two new skills:

> [New Skill Gained (Cleaning)]

> [New Skill Gained (Walking)]

I couldn't believe it. While cleaning, my speed seemed to increase gradually. Had I become a master cleaner now? With these thoughts in mind, I opened the status window and looked at both skills.

> Skill Name: Walking (Fast walking)

After reading the descriptions, I walked back and forth across the apartment to test the new skills. To my surprise, my walking speed had indeed increased, and I felt more stable and light on my feet. This confirmed that the panel was truly working for me, and doing so very effectively.
