The cold wind blows throughout the breezing night. It was a dark night but at a distance, there was a stadium, ringed with golden light, colors sprouted from the interior to the outside world. Screams of joy echoed through the stadium as there was a competition that was happening. In the center of the stadium, there were two important figures that were being highlighted by the spotlight as they were the two competitors fighting for the title to gain glory.
"You're smart, I like that." A guy said in annoyance as he looked at the trainer, who was at the other end of the field. The trainer withdrew his fainted Pokemon to its respective Pokeball. The trainer took out a new one but before throwing it for the next battle, he threw it upward just to catch it repeatedly.
"You're annoying, I hate that." The trainer mocked him.
This trainer's name is Yoake Katsuragi, there are many things he is known for, like competing with tournaments. He wears an all black outfit, a black vest, a black shirt, black jeans, and black shoes. In his outfit, there was one that shines the most, his black scarf. It has a length of a meter, enough to wrap his neck to give some warmth.
"I've heard many tales about you, winning at sports, competitions and such but there is always that curiosity that lingers me the most." The guy asked Yoake.
"Ah? And what is it?" Yoake asked as he threw the Pokeball into the battlefield, a golden shock appeared and disappeared as a Pokemon showed up from the thrown Pokeball, it was a Lucario, heading on to an enemy Gallade.
"Your scarf, I've heard tales about it being a symbol of the pact you made with the devil just to be talented or the tale of something else?" The guy asked as he recalls an old myth from the community.
Yoake sighed and decided to answer his opponent's question, "I'm surprised an old person like you fell for such myths, but believe me, I hate the tales regarding my scarf."
"But since we're already near the end of this competition, I'll give you some hint. It's more of a gift of inspiration."

Yoake remarked as he showed the Mega stone,he then pressed it and all of a sudden, a power explosion occurred, it echoed through the stadium, and the people are getting hyped as this day will be written in history. The guy made his response, and showed his Mega stone to evolve Gallade.
Gallade and Lucario appeared in their Mega evolved form, and took their stance so they could begin their fight alongside their trainers. The crowd continues to cheer, the hype machine begins, the chills, the wait is finally over as this night would embark on a memory that no one will ever forget.
"LUCARIO, DARK PULSE.", "GALLADE PSYCH CUT!"
With the orders from their trainer, both Pokemon charged as Lucario's first formed a dark aura while Gallade's blade formed an aura of purple. The two Pokemon clashed and the spotlight focused on them so the crowd could see them, and the cheer began.
Gallade tries to pierce its blade to the Pokemon but its speed couldn't match Lucario's, and because of this, Gallade was the first one to get hit by Lucario's dark pulse before he even slices him.
"LUCARIO, CRUNCH!", "GALLADE USE TRICK ROOM!"
Both trainers commanded their Pokemon, and by speed, Lucario came in first. With its powerful jaws, it crunches Gallade's right arm, the unarmed one. Gallade tries to rub him off but the teeth dug too deep into the Pokemon's skin, there was no chance to just brush him off. Gallade swayed his bladed hand just so Trick room would work.
A cube then appeared from his hand, for a quick time, it expanded throughout the field with its purple glow. But it was too late, The Pokemon was in critical condition, and it slowly fainted to the ground. It was weak compared to Lucario even though he has the typing advantage. Both Pokemon lost their Mega evolved state, and went back to their original form. Yoake breathes out a pocket of exhausted air. The crowd cheers as the night has decided that it bestows the winner to the trainer.
The guy withdrew his Pokemon, and by his sportsmanship, he decided to walk up to the winner and gave his regards to congratulate him.
"Using Move types huh. Good for you." The guy congratulated him. Even though he lost, he still sends his regards. Yoake accepted it and decided to give a small smile.
"Good for you that you reached this moment as well. But of course, as a saying, this scarf will always be- a- secret." Yoake stated as he tries to give an optimistic approach to his opponent. He was a good opponent, took down five of his Pokemon but in the end, Yoake won.
"AND FOR TONIGHT'S WINNER! YOAKE KATSURAGI FROM PALLET CITY!" The announcer said in the speakers of the stadium. Everyone cheered for him, the spotlight went to him, and it felt like a dream for the trainer. He finally won, he finally achieved the title of the "International Pokemon champion".
"OI BRO!"
While celebrating, he heard a knock behind him. He groaned as he removed his virtual reality headset, put it in his computer desk, and walked to the door where the knock was coming from. He turned the knob and opened it, and he was greeted by a girl, a few centimeters smaller than him, has a black pony tailed hair, a black nightgown, and of course, the Katsuragi feature, Red pupils. It was his sister, Yugure.
"What?" Yoake asked his little sister in an annoyed tone.
"It's your turn for the groceries." Yugure said as she handed the paper to Yoake. She leaves as soon as she hands it over, and Yoake touches his cheek as he remembers something very important.
'Shit, I forgot.' He said as he finally remembers his chores for today, doing the groceries. In fear for his mother to find out that he hasn't done his chore, he immediately changed his clothes from his household ones to the outfit he always uses outside. A black sweater, black jeans, and gray sneakers, and of course, his beloved scarf.
After changing, he grabbed his phone, places it in his pockets alongside the paper. He quickly opened the door of his room, and rushed to the door that leads to the hallway of their condo.
