Meng Hao accepted the command medallion, looked it over, and then put it into his bag of holding. He nodded toward Zhixiang, then, without another word she turned to leave but then thought of something and turned back. She slapped her bag of holding and produced a small wooden box and held it up to him.

"And this is?" he asked as he tried to see within it with his divine sense but could not see past the top of its lid.

"I'm wondering the same thing actually." Zhixiang said with a soft sigh. "After I absorbed all the Demon Immortal Cistern's waters I could to transform my body into a Demon Immortal Body I awoke from meditation to find that you had left. While putting on new clothes from my bag of holding I suddenly noticed a faint signal of energy emanating behind the stone I had left my mark in the second plane."

Meng Hao's eyes and expression did not waver but he did think to himself "I was right next to her the entire time while we were inside and I did not notice any hint of energy even as I left before her." He wondered if there was a trick to it and tried his divine sense once again to fail a second time.

Zhixiang chuckled as she then said "Your divine sense will not work on this box as I have already tried it more than a few times already. I have seen these markings that prevent it before and I know you have too."

Meng Hao stepped closer to get a better look at this unassuming wooden box to see many finely detailed symbols and characters carved into it. It only took a moment for a roaring sound could be heard within his mind as he recognized some of the patterns. He had indeed seen these before as they were the work of the man that filled the void within his heart for the love of a father Ke Yunhai.

Zhixiang knew what this could mean to Meng Hao and did want to make a good impression on him so that he would indeed someday visit or even in a lucky scenario join the New Demon Immortal Sect of the Ninth Mountain and Sea so she gently placed it into Meng Hao's hands.

As soon as he touched it the sound of a small click could be heard as the cover opened to show a small silver colored ring. Seeing this Zhixiang used her divine sense but could find nothing special about this plain looking ring at all. The same was said when Meng Hao did the same as he wondered if only the box was made by Ke Yunhai. After a few moments he picked up the ring to find that everything around including Zhixiang suddenly stopped moving entirely.

In the next moment pain wracked Mang Hao's body in a way that he had never before experienced when the ring appeared on his right index finger as an exact duplicate appeared on the left index finger.

Meng Hao's consciousness faded in a out as a voices rang out in his mind.

"He has the credentials to use this magical item as he wishes!"

"He does but he also does not. This item was never suppose to be found and even if it was how could anyone find it then take it to someone right away that could use it!"

"It could only be found by someone who had the Demon Immortal Body but only be opened then used by both that person and someone who cultivated the secret art of Fleshly Sanctification. This being has both on the same body and that is impossible!"

"Its true. They are polar opposites and yet he is someone who has both and when the ring split they both attached to him alone, neither went to the finder!"

Hearing these voices inside his head annoyed Meng Hao to no end and was about to speak until a familiar sounding voice yelled "ENOUGH ALL OF YOU! THE RING CHOSE SO YOU WILL ALL STOP NOW!"

As sudden as it started the pain stopped as he found himself running through a wooded area."What is.." he thought as he brought himself to an abrupt stop while looking at the surroundings finding them to be very familiar.

From behind him a Haorse voice could be heard "Too scared to run anymore? Just when this was getting to be fun!"

Meng Hao turned to see someone that he had thought he would never see again as he looked at a human shaped demonic creature that was much taller than him covered in thick golden fur. Before he knew it Meng Hao let out a good chuckle that angered the beast as he thought he was part of some kind of joke.

"What is so funny? Do I look amusing in some way to you?" the beast almost barked out with a tone of complete hostility.

Meng Hao casually looked around as he began to get a sense of what was going on as a similar experience happened recently. He closed his eyes to check over his body for a moment to then open them with a smile on his face. "Lets see how this plays out shall we?" Meng Hao thought.

The creature became even more bloodthirsty and was about to lunge when Meng Hao suddenly slapped his bag of holding to pull out an ordinary looking copper mirror. He then said "If I remember correctly your name is Zhou Wugang and this is going to be a lot more fun for me to see this a second time around." as he held up the mirror towards him.

Suddenly, Zhou Wugang felt strange, as if something foreign entered his body. It moved violently within him and his expression changed as the feeling of severe pain rampaged in his organs, which quickly rose up to the uppermost limit. He tried to push the strange Qi down to his dantian to force it out but it did not work.

Meng Hao smiled and said "Lord Fifth we both know you can do better than that!"

Zhou Wugang suddenly let out a blood-curdling scream as the energy ravaging his body surged towards his mouth and buttock region at the same time. When they did both area's exploded into a bloody haze leaving just his torso heap onto the ground.

Meng Hao couldn't think of anything to say further except for "Ah memories of youth." as the copper mirror's glow faded back to normal. He put the mirror back into his bag of holding as he started to walk through the woods and think "This are definitely the forest just outside the Reliance Sect."

He raised both hands and saw the rings on his fingers and thought "Is this like the Second Plane of the Immortal Demon Sect? All illusions but why here of all places? There is no wealth anywhere near great enough to go through all this trouble for. I should know as I was here."

He then wanted to test a theory out as he walked up to a particularly large and old tree nearby. He raised his right hand and casually touched it with a finger causing the entire tree from its roots all the way up to top exploded into a haze. The pieces left over were smaller than an incense stick.

"I seem to still have the power I had before I touched the ring but for some reason can't be perceived by others." he said as he turned to look at what was left of Zhou Wugang. "Otherwise trash from only the Qi condensation stage would have instantly died coming near me."

Without hesitation he uttered "Second Anima." causing a loud booming resounded out as everything around Meng Hao for more than thirty feet including the body of Zhou Wugang was crushing into less than paste into the ground which then caved in a few feet further. When Meng Hao noticed a reaction from the copper mirror he immediately transferred back to the First Anima state causing the surroundings as well as the mirror to become silent once more.

He looked around and thought "So in First Anima I appear to be someone who is still in the Qi Condensation stage but if I go higher my actual power becomes apparent to others as well as my surroundings including the copper mirror. Good to know."

Meng Hao made a slight sweeping motion with his hand to create a small crater to which he then placed the copper mirror and buried it. "Just to be on the safe side I will keep this here for now. I do not wish to wake up the parrot accidentally."

After that Meng Hao moved a much greater distance away from the sect to check out his other Anima states to find if they were working as well. His tests were proceeding smoothly until something rather odd happened when he went into the Fifth Anima. When Meng Hao used the Fifth Anima the Blood Immortal Mask appeared on his face out of nowhere without being summoned.

He looked in his bag of holding to see that he only had the very same materials he had at the time he was with the Reliance Sect and not what he had before showing up here. That did include the Mask until it appeared on his face while trying out his Fifth Anima.

"So I don't have access to even the pills that I created! Only these demon cores and the copper mirror I buried before." he said with a sigh. He thought about the times he had spent here and wondered if he would have any real affect on timeline if he changed anything he had done then with the knowledge and power he now possessed.

"What to do?" he said until he suddenly thought of something. "These rings were found in the Demon Immortal Sect and there is someone from this time who could enlighten me about what exactly is going on here." He waited until nightfall came and under night a small smile again appeared on his face as he suddenly went directly to the Fifth Anima. The Blood Immortal Mask once again appeared on his face as his long green robe became dyed red along with it making him look rather menacing as he flew up into the air.

"No one should be able to tell it is me behind this mask just in case there are actual ramifications to my actions here. The less I interact the better." Meng Hao thought as he turned into a beam of light in the sky going straight up to look for something. Only when the sect itself could hardly be seen did Meng Hao stop to look at the tree line in a certain area unnaturally dip over and over in a pattern only he knew was there. Meng Hao could not help his smile widening even more at the sight of this and shot back down be when he was overhead of the Reliance Sect he suddenly stopped.

There under the moonlight a single silhouette could be seen walking on the outskirts of the public zone towards a certain Immortal's Cave that Meng Hao could not have known more. Meng Hao's gaze focused entirely on this single young girl who wore a silver robe and moved with a seemingly cold and graceful attitude. She walked up the Immortal's Cave and gave the entrance a look then continued down the path.

Meng Hao couldn't help looking down on her with a slight smile as he said "Xu Qing." and remembered how her attitude was off putting to some but to him she always seemed straight forward, only replied when she has something worthwhile to say, and had a kindness that only those that were close to her could recognize.

As he watched her continue down the path he reminded himself that he should not get caught up in the memories of this place and continued on to the temple hall on the east mountain. When he arrived he looked over the nine statues but mostly at the foremost one of an old man, Patriarch Reliance. He lifted his right hand and pushed a certain spot on the statue every few seconds until he got to one hundred-seventy-nine times. The temple hall shuddered until underneath the statue a stone platform could be seen.

Meng Hao knew that at this point he would need Reliance's permission to enter but that would ruin his plans so he used he own energy circulated with a slight hint of Demonic Qi to cause a beam of light to shoot up into the sky then began to twist into a giant ring. Without hesitation he jumped into the vortex inside the giant ring. Inside everything was the same as he remembered so he proceeded to seven oil lamps that were organized in a mystical pattern.

Meng Hao had thought about what he would need at this point in order to light these lamps ever since he had decided on a plan. "I might as well try it" he thought he raised his hand summoning as much Demonic Qi as he needed. He was surprised how quickly it was available as he channeled it into the seven lamps to cause them to light up slightly. "He was with the Immortal Demon Sect so it should not surprise me Demonic Qi works." he thought.

Immediately before anyone noticed Meng Hao disappeared as green smoke and a black moon then appeared at the entrance and quickly exited. He then flew up and over the mountain and searched for any opening into the ground that looked deep. It took a while but he did find one that could serve his purposes. He remembered in his youth the approximated location of what he saw on that one day that significantly changed his life as well as of those in the state of Zhao. When Patriarch Reliance showed what he really looked like.

It did take a bit longer that anticipated for Meng Hao to make his way down to the stop he was looking for underground. Deep underground he found a cavern that looked normal in all respects except for one large portion of a wall that was incredibly smooth. Meng Hao raised his right hand and struck to smooth wall as he yelled "Alright turtle wake up!"

His voice echoed out for a few breaths as the smooth wall made a rumbling sound and began to move up. From his location it would look like to most people that something was rising up from the ground but Meng Hao knew that it was the wall alone moving and only in one spot.

It took only five breathes of time to see that the smooth wall raised up to uncover an enormous eye that locked on to Meng Hao's figure and stared at him intently.

Honestly Reliance was quite stunned for a number of reasons. One he felt the Demonic Qi Meng Hao infused into the lantern giving him enough energy to open his real eyes, two was because of the Mask that was on Meng Hao's face as he though he had seen it before, and third was how he was able to locate where his face was since no one should be able to know that secret.

Meng Hao knew that Reliance was going to be the first to speak so he stayed floating there waiting for him and he did not disappoint.

"What did you do in my immortal cave Huh?! Who are you?! How did you know I was here?!"

"Greeting to the elder generation Patriarch Reliance. There is no need to be alarmed for I am but a humble wanderer in the world and I seek your advice." Meng Hao said while slightly covered the rings under his sleeves.

Reliance looked closer at this trespasser and when he noticed the rings on each of his hands a stunned expression could be guessed by how his eye trembled slightly. "Humble wandered your Grandmother. Even if you were the most knowledgeable wanderer in the nine mountains you still could not know exactly where I am at any time." he said with a cold harumph.

Meng Hao didn't want to beat around the bush so he immediately raised both hands to show the rings and asked "I came across a mysterious item by chance and it brought me here. What are these called and why would it bring me here?"

Even though he could see only one eye of Reliance's he could still tell that he was shocked to see them.

"By chance nothing. You could only find that in the Ancient Immortal Demon Sect or maybe in the dream of true spirit Night" Reliance said with a mocking tone. After a few breaths he realized something and asked "Are you from the past or the future?"

Meng Hao just snorted and in a normal tone said "There is no need to mention which as it is not your concern. Just tell me what they are."

Reliance thought about it and said "The rings are called Mystic hands and they bring the wearer to the apex of a monumental event or being in the history of the aforementioned wearer. While your here you must have taken control of a body compatible with you spirit. Why you have two rings at one time is beyond my knowledge as it was not suppose to happen. You must have heard voices as you made that transition. Those are the voices of the makers of those rings who were previous paragon's of the Demon Immortal Sect and if your here you have their permission. Sending someone through time is serious business you know and deals with higher levels of authority of power had to be made. You happy. Have you sewn Karma with me or will you later on?"

Meng Hao looked carefully at the rings on his hands to suddenly notice that numbers were now glowing golden radiance halfway around the ring on his left hand. The numbers were from one to ten and it was up to five so far.

When Reliance noticed he couldn't help but laugh as he then said "Oh I almost forgot to mention that the mystical element of the rings will fade as soon as the wearer meets the one they were sent to find. In this case seeing that they counted up to five would mean that it started counting after you got here. Serves you right trespasser. Ha ha. I hope you had found what you are looking for?"

Meng Hao was truly fuming but did not show it as he began to think about what Reliance just said. If he was brought here to do something he had to do it as quick as possible. Meng Hao then carefully thought of the timing and noticed that it could not be a coincidence for his time period. He always did think of how odd that the Patriarch Reliance Sect seemed to pick him out of the crowd when he first began his road into the world of cultivation. Coincidences also plagued his mind at times after he first held the copper mirror that led to the adventures that followed such as climbing the treasure mountain with the only thing that allowed him to conquer it without injury. The copper mirror is something with worth far more than anything else in the Reliance Sect.

Meng Hao once against looked at the rings so with little time he said "There is a disciple worth mentioning in your sect that I want you to help along in his cultivation. He will be of big help to you in the near future. He use to be a scholar and his name is Meng Hao."

"A new Disciple that I would need help from and was a scholar? Is that a joke because I am not laughing. What little energy I have I will not even use for over a hundred years. My plan to recover will take at least that long to work. The energy you gave me is already almost out and I "Yawn" already feel sleepy but if what you say is true then I'll see what happens. Maybe at that time this Meng Hao will be an elder then." Reliance said sleepily as his eyelid began to close.

Meng Hao crosses his arms and said "There are things I must get done so before I leave so I want you to tell me something."

Reliance didn't seem to bother listening as his eyelid continued to close. In a low tone Reliance said "What...is...that...now?"

Just as the eyelid almost shut Meng Hao said "You might remember us being old time friends so I want you to tell me what was carved into your shell from when you were in the Demon Immortal Pagoda." Suddenly Meng Hao jumped to the Eighth Anima and as his cultivation base exploded out causing everything around him to shake immediately

Like a thunderclap in Reliance's mind his almost closed eyelid sprang open in a flash as horrible memories flooded his mind as he sensed the power given off by Meng Hao.

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

"It can't be him?" Reliance wholeheartedly wished and hoped to be true.

"I wonder if you need a reminder. The Demon Immortal Pagoda isn't here and you are a bit larger then back then but that only makes you a bigger target and I did go and check my work to see it's still there. It has been just too long time since I showed you a lesson while going up the pagoda that time. I could do it now without any help from my father's talismans so that should make you happy" Meng Hao said with a hint of superiority.

Reliance couldn't help but make a loud gulping sound as he replied in a submissive tone "No one would tell me what was carved into my shell."

Meng Hao crosses his arms then said in a bashful tone "If that is too difficult for you then how about the name I used when I carved something into your shell and made you into my mount for a short while going up the Pagoda levels?"

Reliance's eyes quivered continuously as he was in no position to defend himself from such power while severely depowered as he was. Memories of the worst beating he had ever received in his life surfaced in his mind. When he realized who he was Reliance actually tried to pull his head back further into his shell to find that it could go no farther that it already was. He knew he had no way out for he replied "Ke....Ke Jiusi."

"Good you remember. It is in your best interest to also remember the name Meng Hao because if I go back to where I come from and find that you did not heed my advise I will move heaven and earth and not rest until I come back to pay you another visit. A very unpleasant one. " Meng Hao said with a smile but with a tone so cold Reliance felt in his soul. With that Meng Hao vanished in green smoke and black moon then disappeared.

Reliance was still worried about what Meng Hao just said and seriously took special note of Meng Hao's name as he thought "The only way a disciple could possibly help me is if they were an inner disciple and that is if the current sect leader He Luohua led to to my mediation zone to use Vorpal Jade to secretly give me energy. There are currently only three Vorpal Jade in his hands so how..." This continued for a time until he remembered about the mask that Meng Hao was wearing. "The was the mask of the Blood Immortal. What could have happening to bring Ke Jiusi to wear such a thing." He worried about this problem until his energy went to a dangerous limit forcing him back into slumber.

Meng Hao at this time brought himself back down to the fifth Anima as he was going towards the top of black mountain. His thoughts were occupied about what else he could do to in this time period that would make any difference for him. Meeting anyone else in the Reliance Sect besides turtle was obviously out of the question as just talking to even one of them could change his past in ways he could not know.

"Even as her past self I would have liked to talk to Xu Qing for even a short while." he thought as he wondered why if one ring is sufficient to do what old Reliance said it does the mystery of having the second became even more exciting.

Just when he arrived a top the mountain he remembered his first trip up there as he was being chased by fellow disciples like Yin Tianlong and Zhou Kai to get the Dry Spirit Pill he received on pill day that one time. It was only thanks to him having the copper mirror on him that allowed to to get away from all that pursued him by using it on the beasts in the forest as cover.

He looked down to the giant fissure to see the body of the Winged Rain Dragon, the first wooden sword he found, as well as the tail partially changed into a huge black python when suddenly a distortion appeared in mid air as the ring on his left hand glowed a blinding white gold color. He tried to stop his advance but before he could engage any techniques to escape Meng Hao was already through it.

He looked around and thought to himself "This is just going to be one of those very odd days it seems." as he noticed there was no changes to the area he was in other than it was no longer night but sometime in the day. When he looked to his left hand the ring that was there was gone without a trace. As he looked at the other the numbers began to show themselves with the character for the number one already glowing.

"This must be the reason why both rings came to be on my hands at the same time. Reliance did say that both were not suppose to have one wearer so this was to give me two opportunities to shape my destiny and not just one." Meng Hao closed his eyes at that moment and sat down cross-legged to focus while he spread out his Divine sense to find anything that would give him a clue to what.

Surprise was on Meng Hao's face as he could see the Reliance Sect but not in the same way he knew it. The amount of disciples he sensed there were many times over that what he knew during his stay there. He probed the identities of the members of the sect to find that he did have any memory of anyone there except for one He Luohua the sect leader of his time. A he watched he thought "This has to be even further into the past that before. It looks like He Louhua is an elder not the sect leader yet."

Meng Hao had to think about the purpose of him being here at this point in time. He wasn't even alive during this time so why would the second ring send him here. It was far too early to reign in Reliance at this time so why Meng Hao thought. He looked down to the area where the body of the Winged Rain Dragon was just now to see it was gone without even a hint that the ground was disturbed at all.

"That Winged Rain Dragon was suppose to have existed in that spot for hundreds if not thousands of years. Where is it?" Meng Hao was a bit unsettled by this as the first wooden sword, later finding out the name to be an Immortal Murdering Sword, came from the Winged Rain Dragon and out of the many possessions he had that sword along with the others he now had were very important to him as they did allow Meng Hao to escape as well kill enemies. Meng Hao checked to see that the numbers on the ring he had left stayed at the number one position and did not start to move at least caused Meng Hao not to outright panic.

With all speed available to him Meng Hao searched beyond the black mountain for any clues to its whereabouts. was beginning to search when a loud thunderous roar echoed out in all directions from up above. When he looked up he saw the Winged Rain Dragon battling someone high in the sky just above a giant expanse of black thunderclouds against a someone whose cultivation base could not be seen. After a few exchanges Meng Hao knew that the Winged Rain Dragon had the upper hand in the battle as the one he was fighting lost a left arm.

Meng Hao turned into a beam of light to get closer to the battle and when he arrived he could see that the person fighting the Winged Rain Dragon was a woman who looked to be in her twenties with long red hair and wore a black robe. Even without her left arm she continued to fight valiantly and even scored a few very damaging blows to the Winged Rain Dragon's chest until a surprise swipe from its tail struck her soundly in the chest ripping her in half.

When the Winged Rain Dragon saw it had won it turned to leave but then caught sight of Meng Hao floating in the air. Something about him enraged the dragon even more so than when it was fighting the woman and attacked right away catching Meng Hao by surprise. The power coming from the Winged Rain Dragon was enormous and could be said to be in the upper limits of Spirit Severing. Knowing that he could not hold back at all Meng Hao jumped to the Eighth Anima and shot back at all the speed he could muster.

He did not know why The Winged Rain Dragon was so enraged by his presence until he noticed the numbers on the remaining ring began to count up. "The reason for me being here is definitely because of this dragon. Am I the one who defeats it or does someone else if I hold its attention long enough."

The answers to his question appeared in the next moment as six more people surrounded the pursuing Winged Rain Dragon dressed in the same black robes as the woman before with one exception. One of them was a younger man maybe in his thirties who wore a black robe with golden symbols written all over it in a mystical pattern. At that point Meng Hao's interest changed from the pursuing dragon to what this man was holding that caught Meng Hao's interest the most, The Immortal Murdering Sword.

The sword's mere presence shook not only the Winged Rain Dragon but for some unknown reason also something within Meng Hao. It was the Winged Rain Dragon Core within Meng Hao's Dao pillars that was responding to the presence of the sword. "That was my very first Immortal Murdering Sword and it has been in my possession for a very long time and it never had a reaction like this before. Is it fear? If so then why this reaction now?"

Again the answers came to him in the form of a binding circle created by the others in black robes holding the Winged Rain Dragon firmly in place. As soon as it stopped the man in black and gold shot straight towards the neck of the dragon making a motion to behead it.

Seeing this Meng Hao disappeared into green smoke and black moon and appeared between the Winged Rain Dragon and the one holding the sword. The man was surprised and stopped immediately as Meng Hao thought about what he had just seen. The corpse of the Winged Rain Dragon that he came across that time still had its head intact so this shouldn't be happening.

The man tone was as cold as ice as he looked closely at the blood mask Meng Hao wore trying to see his face and yelled "Who are you and why do you interfere I our hunt?!" He raised his guard as his companions could only watch since if they moved from position the Winged Rain Dragon could free itself.

Meng Hao just calmly stared at the one holding the sword and asked "I wanted to know where you acquired that sword but also ask what your reason was for hunting this dragon?"

The man grabbed the pommel of the sword with both hands and went into a sword stance before yelling "The answer to both questions is its none of your business! This is the Black Stance clan business so leave now or die!" as he rushed towards Meng Hao at his top speed while coughing up some blood onto the sword.

The sword in the man's hands began to show a mystical design just above where he was holding the sword as pressure asserted itself upon Meng Hao's body locking him into place for a split moment. If Meng Hao's fleshly body was any weaker than it was he would not have been able to have enough time to dodge the overhead swipe of the sword from hitting him directly in the head.

Blood formed at the end of Meng Hao's finger before shooting towards the man from the Black Stance Clan who used the sword to defend. The man's face showed shock at the power of whatever technique was just used. It caused the mystical pattern on the sword to fade slightly.

He did not have a chance to respond to it as Meng Hao followed up Blood finger with blood palm.

When the hand print appeared shooting towards him he yelled "Black Stance number one, Cold in Death!" causing the bloody hand to stop about ten feet from him.

Meng Hao waved finger towards the man at the this point and thought he also had techniques to stop enemies too. "Eighth Demon Sealing Hex!"

After images appeared around the Black Stance member causing him to also freeze. He immediately used all his ability to free himself but was too slow as the Blood Palm arrived in front of him smashing into his chest leaving behind a hand sized hole.

One of the Black Stance members broke formation and tried to attack Meng Hao but as soon as even one of them moved away the Winged Rain Dragon broke through the restraint sending a backlash to those that created the circle. Without pause the dragon swept across the six killing them instantly.

"That was an easier fight than I was expecting given their ability to stop the Winged Rain Dragon." Meng Hao thought.

This takes a while to explain but actually only took six breathes of time from start of the fight to when the Winged Rain Dragon finished the others.

Meng Hao disappeared as green smoke and black moon, appeared next to the man to take the sword, to once again vanish and appear high above the dragon. Meng Hao could tell that even though the spell formation was weakened to the time it took to attack and kill the Black Stance members the Winged Rain Dragon used an extraordinary amount of its power leaving it with very little energy left.

Meng Hao looked at the Immortal Murdering Sword in his hand and from just the feel of it he could tell this was definitely the same wooden sword that was stuck into the body of the dragon all that time ago. Even after all this time it only takes less than a moment for Meng Hao to know the difference between the five that are in his possession in the future.

It was at this moment that Meng Hao noticed the numbers on the ring were already up to eight. "How could it be already at eight? I have not been around the dragon for that long for the numbers to be so high. Certainly not as long as I was at the Reliance Sect."

A flash of light later a small piece of a wooden sword appeared next to the Immortal Murdering sword as a humming sound could be heard from it. "That's the sword tip with 30,000 years of time power I picked up in the Immortal Demon Sect when I was looking for the time swords I buried in the second plane." said Meng Hao.

The Immortal Murdering Sword produced another humming sound along side it as the two became irresistibly drawn to each other. The two blended into one as the mystical pattern that appeared before while the man from the Black Stance Sect held it but many times more brighter and detailed. The tip of the sword now became a deep color red which made even Meng Hao feel the blood-curdling nature of it at this point.

When the Winged Rain Dragon felt the deadly aura from the sword it lifted its head towards Meng Hao. Fear was apparent on its face as it saw the sword but it was only for an instant as the ring on Meng Hao's finger also let out a piercing humming sound that resonated not with the new version of the sword but to Meng Hao himself.

The air around the two twisted until a translucent corridor surrounded them both trapping them inside. It only took a moment for Meng Hao to see the quickly changing scenery outside of the corridor to understand that they both were now going through time. Large trees were returned to saplings then to acorns in only a breath letting Meng Hao know that they were hurtling backwards through time.

A roaring like Heavenly Tribulation Lightning was shocking Meng Hao's brain directly causing him to lose focus and his ability to control his body. Meng Hao's fought back with everything he had to force control back from whatever was happening and when he did his power exploded out causing the lotus sword formation to appear and surround his body. At the moment the pain struck Meng Hao was thinking about his time swords and as thought to protect himself out of instinct his thoughts had crossed his mind of the lotus formation. He saw that the Blood Mask was no longer on his face. He looked down and noticed his clothes were back to what they were before this adventure started and his bag of holding gave him access to all of his items once more including the time swords.

The Winged Rain Dragon roared as it fought back against the currents of time with no luck and was only injuring itself even further by doing so.

When the ninth number began to glow Meng Hao noticed the top of Black Mountain and from just that angle an idea sprang to mind. He raised the sword above his head as his cultivation base began to rotate concentrating his energy into his arm. Crackling sounds could be heard as his muscled and bones strained under the pressure of his own focused energy.

A feeling deep down within Meng Hao was also stirred awake as the demon core of the same Winged Rain Dragon before him came to life. A projection of the dragon appeared behind Meng Hao and opened its mouth. This was not any sort of attack but meant to strengthen Meng Hao's body even further than it already was using a means never before seen by Meng Hao. On his arm a pattern of dragon scales appeared all over with black radiance causing his already powerful body to become even more so.

Meng Hao thought "This must mean that the Winger Rain Dragon core likes where it ended up and wants to make sure it stays that way."

As the tenth number was about to glow on the ring Meng Hao threw the sword at the dragon with all of his might. The glow covered Meng Hao's body instantly and when he was completely covered his body the Immortal Murdering sword and the sword tip split from each other before he himself vanished. The Winged Rain Dragon had no way to dodge the incoming sense of extreme danger it felt just as the sword struck stabbed into it sending him hurtling into the top of black mountain. Dust and debris flew everywhere and when it settled the body of the Winged Rain Dragon could be seen in a freshly made giant fissure. Time was indeed drained from the dragon as it coloring began to pale. The dragon willed the last of its power towards its tail to try and escape from its body but knew that it would take a long time to do so.

In the Reliance Sect at that very moment the young Meng Hao's body appeared in the Immortal cave he was staying in fast asleep while the copper mirror appeared inside his bag of holding.

Back in The Immortal Demon Sect Meng Hao appeared exactly as he left with two exceptions. Zhixiang no longer held the small wooden box and they were standing away from each other. In the next moment time began to flow once more.

"I would like to thank you in a more personal way, Daoist Meng," said Zhixiang with a smile. "Therefore, I'll give you a bit of information. The pit located between the Third and Fourth Peaks is critical to entering the Fourth Plane."

Without knowledge of the magical events that transpired to Meng Hao he turned back to Zhixiang and continued their conversation unimpeded. How could he know that what happened in a moment out of time he changed the course of his own life in a very profound way. He set Reliance's eyes onto his younger self to make sure that he was included in his plans. One's that change the very level that Meng Hao saw the world as he went on his journey in the future to Seal The Heavens.
