Isekai. A genre that has come a long way and existed long enough to its very own Era of Satire. Bringing a new golden age that distinguishes itself by criticizing and creatively expanding the genre after its first expansion. It is a beautiful “era” that I am late to, but have had the pleasure to witness and now take part in.  Hello and welcome to ISK 101. An introduction of theoretical exploration and application to the portal fantasy genre. I will go over basic information and strategies, as there are too many factors for too many types of worlds/dimensions and every circumstance.  This also means that I won’t go into depth for anything, because the circumstances of every Isekai is vastly different. Lecturing on specific details of one thing may put individuals in a completely different circumstance, if the rules of their new world are different than what was lectured. So this will be a general introduction is all I can offer, without jeopardizing the adaptability of every individual that reads this.
