Hello everyone,

Usually around this time I'd be frantically editing the next chapter in the hopes to get it ready for uploading on Monday.

In the past this has been fine since I've had a large buffer of chapters for you to read but, as the weeks have progressed I have not been able to keep up with the writing schedule I've wanted to do. It has taken me months to write 3 chapters and this is not due to me not knowing where I want the story to go, its due to exhaustion of trying to balance work, writing, editing and personal life.

I want to create a story that I can be proud of and I am proud of most of the story I have written so far (aside from some cringe editing at the start) but I know that if I keep going the way I have been, I'll be uploading poorly written chapters with half-baked ideas that will ruin the ending of the story. I do not want to give you a shitty story that has no payoff at the end and with the ending I have in mind, it needs to be done right.

With this in mind, I regret that the story will be going on hiatus for a while.

I will be finishing the rest of the story. I wanted to share this story with people the second I started writing it and for the people I know who have been reading this, it has been hard not to tell you spoilers due to my excitement.

For the 1,461 people (at the time of writing this) who have given my story a chance, thank you. You don't know me but you gave me a chance and I will always be thankful for you. You stuck around through my poor editing and some badly written dialog that makes some of the characters feel 2D.

I am currently finishing chapter 23 and I think have at least 8 more chapters left to write so the hiatus shouldn't be too long but I am going to be re-editing chapters 1-17 so that they sound more coherent. I won't be removing any chapters until I have finished writing so for those of you just starting the story, you don't need to rush everything.

I will post updates on how things are going i.e. when I've finished writing the main story and when I've finished re-editing chapter 1. I'll post chapter 1 with an updated release schedule for the improved chapters.

I'm sorry for this but I hope you understanding.
