"Huff, huff huff..." Running in the narrow alley in the middle of the night in the rain, Inspector Brandon, who was in a middle of a drug siege, was being overwhelmed by the thugs instead.

Shit! Never would though I would be overwhelmed by a group of thugs.

He panted as he ran over the alley wall, trying to avoid direct confrontation. He had already reported to the HQ, that the addicts had super enhancing power due to the drug effect, and they're requesting special backup. As he was now the only one of the group of cops to be able to fled the scene and provide information.

"Brandon?" Someone called up to him in the shadows. He stepped out of the shadow to reveal himself wearing a cop uniform, with a smile on his face.

"Carter? Oh thank goodness you're here. Listen, the siege tonight... it's busted!" Brandon then began rambling long and long enough, explain everything to Carter.

"We got to get out of here and- *Bang*" A gunshot echoed throughout the alley. Blood seeping out from Brandon's stomach, as a bullet of few mm has gotten into his stomach.

"I'm not letting you out of here Brandon." He said as he spined the gun roulette, preparing a new bullet. "You're disturbing our plan."

"Why Carter... I thought you're a justice person."

"It's the money Brandon, they promised me too much, I just can't refuse it."

"..." Silent continued in the back of the alleyway, with Brandon looking disappointed, and Carter looking emotionless.

"This is goodbye Brandon, don't worry, I'll take care of your family for you."

"Thank you..." Brandon said with a tears slid down his cheek.

*Bam* A gunshot was fired, and the Super Enhancer Drug Siege during that night was recorded as a failure, with a total casualties of 50 police officers, including Inspector Brandon.

"Brandon, its time to eat!" A scene played right in front of him. The scene after a few days of their weddings, that time he was just a normal police officer, with a meagle amount of salary to support both of them. The scene where he was back from a tedious day of working as a normal police officer, to be welcomed by his supportive wife.

"Layla?" He leaned forward to only passes through her, just to realize it was just an illusion, as there were several scenes reenacting the same scene in his life flashing right in front of him, like a tv screen panel.

The scene where his daughter was born, the scene where he lost his father... Every single thing that has been through by Brandon, is flashed right in front of him right now.

He walked and looked right every scene, until he stumbled across the scene where he was betrayed by his ex-partner, Carter. Looking at this, he realized that, he was already dead.

"Hello, Brandon. Welcome to the afterlife. By the time you got here, you're already dead, as you know it." A woman with gorgeous blonde hair appeared right before him, elevating in the sky.

"Now, you have two choices... one, is to quietly rest in peace just like anybody else, or..."

Hearing the two choices, Brandon clenched his fist, and given her answer to the goddess.
