Dusty Mcfluffington and Glacie

In order to not look suspicious again, while We were being toured in the shelter I held on to Choe’s hand while looking around the shelter interior. The wooden floor had several fake grass carpets, the walls were beautifully decorated and the ceiling was brightly lit for the puppies.

“Mr Hiltur, how was this orphanage and shelter come to be?” I asked.

“This Orphanage and shelter is but 1 of many that the young master has erected in the towns here in the north and center.”

“He sounds amazing Mr Hiltur! How long has the young master been the boss?” Chloe asked in admiration.

“From what the young master, “Bruce Ragnivindr” has told me during the few times we met each other, is that he has only recently started leading his late father’s business and company 4 years ago.” He explained.

“Wait, so how old is he right now?” Chloe asked.

“I recall he mentioned he turned 21 a month ago.” Mr Hiltur answered.

“He has chosen to start erecting new orphanages and shelters in order to honor his late parents who passed away when he was but a young little rascal,” Dr Hiltur explained while we walked past some dog kennels.

“Wait, so what did Mr Ragnivindir's company do before he started adding orphanages and shelters?”

“I’m sorry, but he has not disclosed this information to me or any of his other close workers yet.”

“Aww bummer” I sighed and got my head got path by both Chloe and Mr. Hiltur.

From what I have gotten from this conversation is that this young master “Bruce” is that he became the ceo at age 18 and had orphanages and shelters made so the kids and pets dont experience the pain he had when he lost his parents. I need to meet this guy when I grow older.

“Here in the shelter and orphanage, we strive to save and give the many stray and ill dogs of this town a proper home.” Mr Hiltur said while we walked around the shelter looking at the many dogs, old and young inside their kennels.

“How many dogs has this shelter help find a forever home?” I asked curiously.

“On a monthly basis, the shelter has helped at least 12 puppies and 8 older dogs.” Hiltur answered while kneeling to pick up a nearby puppy.

“That great to hear Mr Hiltur!” Chloe praised.

“Indeed it is, the young master has made sure to hire only the best of the best in order to maintain the many facilities he had erected for the kids and puppies to call home. Hiltur explained further.

We continued walking pass many kennels and we eventually stopped at a kennel that contained a boston terrier that was wearing a cow print poncho and a cowboy hat while running around in circles.

“He’s an energetic little one!” I admired the tiny little terrier.

“Borf! Borf!!” The dog started leaning up on the kennel excitedly looking at us.

“He’s very cute!” Chloe squealed in joy.

“Meet Dusty McFluffington!” Dr Hiltur exclaimed.

“Dusty Mcfluffington…?” Chloe and I asked in unison.

“Borff!!” Dusty smiled.

“Dusty used to be a support dog until his owner passed away” Hiltur stated calmly and tipped his sheriff hat.

“Condolences.” I muttered..

“Don’t worry, Dusty is always cheerful around people so it shouldn’t be that hard to train him!” Dr Hiltur exclaimed.

“That’s fair haha!” I chuckled.

The Boston Terrier is a breed of dog that highly resembled french bulldogs, it originated in the United States of America. This "American Gentleman" was accepted in 1893 by the American Kennel Club as a non-sporting breed. Color and markings are important when distinguishing this breed from the AKC standard.

They are known for their boundless energy and fun-loving ways. They can provide endless entertainment with their silly antics. They are also typically sweet, smart, and easy to train. Boston Terriers tend to love people and make great dogs for families.

“I would like to adopt Dusty!” I announced proudly while Chloe cheered for dusty.

“Well then, I’ll prepare the paperwork while you get to know each other.” Dr Hiltur opened Dusty’s kennel and handed him to me.

“Mr Hiltur may I ask something?” I asked while Dusty nuzzled on my cheek.

“Yes you may.”

“Why does Dusty wear a hat and poncho?” I questioned

“Well~ How do I put this, before he was adopted by his first owner, Dusty used to be a stray dog that led a pack of other stray dogs.”

“Well aren’t you a little gangster!” I joked before giving Dusty bellyrubs.

I looked at the kennel next door which had a greenland dog puppy playing with more puppies.

“Well, they seems to be a very cozy bunch.” Chloe commented about the puppies.

“One of them is perfect for Dad!” I exclaimed while carrying Dusty.

“Ahh Well then, I shall also prepare the paperworks for one of the puppies then! Now young ones, Meet Glacie!” Dr Hiltur exclaimed while getting one of the puppies and handed it over to me.

“Hi Glacie I’m Gwen!” I carried her when both dogs started snuggling on me.

“You 3 look so cute together!” Chloe cheered.

“Hahaha! Thank you although , They are kinda heavy not gonna lie.” I muttered

A greenland dog is a dog that resembled huskies. They were brought from Siberia to North America by the thule people 1000 years ago along with the canadian eskimo dog, Today, the breed is considered nationally and culturally important to Greenland and efforts are made to safeguard its purity.

They are typically independent and with a natural tendency to exercise alpha behaviours, the Greenland Dog requires firm leadership and consistent training from an early age.

That said, the breed is adaptable to domestic life and is a suitable breed choice for active families or the dedicated sole owner.

It was nearly noon when We finished signing the paperwork and I have officially adopted Glacie the Greenland puppy and Dusty Mcfluffington the Boston Terrier. Dr Hiltur escorted us out of the shelter and orphanage in order to ensure we left safely.

“Thank you for everything sir!” I said happily.

“You’re welcome, make sure to come again soon a’right?” Hiltur waved us a pleasant goodbye.

“We will, Make sure to stay safe!” I waved back.

We headed back to the inn and showed my dad his present, which was glacie much to a lot of tears of joy while mother hugged him.

“I never seen him this emotional.” I whispered to Chloe.

“Well he does used to be open before you were born haha!” Chloe whispered back before giggling.

We had smoked fish, bread and boiled eggs for lunch and we prepared to continue our trip to my grandparents home.

The travel between this town and my grandparent’s hometown was around 2 and a hald days and we finally arrived to the town of “Sycamore Junction” Which was now less boring and more entertaining because we both have new friends to come along with us.
